Thanks. I had no concept when I filmed it all those years ago, that one day I’d be able to share the videos so widely, or that they would be appreciated by so many. Isn’t modern technology wonderful?!
thanks again for watching and commenting. 😊😊😊👍

Excellent. Brings back memories of Saturday afternoons at Paddington, watching class 50s and NSE livery trains. The good old days!

New subscriber to your channel. My grandparents local station was Hayes so I remember the route from Paddington very fondly. Wonderful videos btw. Proper trains!

Lovely to see some real trains, far nicer than todays trams.

Thanks, but I will admit, I tended to avoid filming the dmus and HSTs, so my videos do tend to give a rose-tinted view of how loco heavy the action was. Thanks for commenting 👍😊😊

Hi Paul. Thanks very much for your comments. The short answer to the DVD question is ‘No’. A few years ago I did approach a couple of the Railway DVD companies to see if they were interested in the content, but I got nowhere. This was one of the reasons I started the channel tbh. I suppose I could consider creating my own DVDs and marketing them on eBay or similar, but the channel already takes up far more of my time than I’d like, and this would just compound the issue. 😊. As for the nameplates, all the ones that I have photos of are in a montage at the start of the ‘An Hour of Class 50s’ video compilation . All my Class 50 footage from the 1980s is now on the channel, in one form or another.
I appreciate this might not be the answer you were hoping for, but this is only one of my hobbies and, as I’ve said, already squeezes my time far more than I’d like. Glad you’ve enjoyed the videos though. If you haven’t tried yet, can I suggest you view using the RUclips app on a TV to give that “DVD experience “. cheers, Geoff @OldOakTrains.
