  • This is quite a long video (over 1 hour) featuring the predominantly loco hauled movements at Warrington Bank Quay that occurred from around 11am until 6pm on Tuesday 6th June 1989.
Loco hauled passenger trains on the west coast mainline were using mostly Class 86 and Class 87 at this time, with some Class 90s appearing throughout the video.
There are also substantial freight movements including Classes 20, 31, 37, 47, and 56. MGR trains to Fiddlers Ferry power station were still Class 20 hauled in 1989 and a few pairs of these appeared during the day. A couple of Class 85 vintage electrics also feature.
