Hi Claire, I’m new to jesmonite and love your videos! Just saw this one and wondering if you sealed the pieces and how they are holding up with the colours? Thank you ❤️
I've got to give the cappuccino marble look a go soon, so beautiful! Would you mind giving us an update in a few weeks please, to see if the colour fades at all? I follow a RUclipsr who says he doesn't use Alcohol Ink as it fades pretty quickly (in epoxy resin). Thank you for sharing your experiments! xx 🙌🏻
Absolutely loving all of these techniques and now flummoxed about where to start... my brain is overloaded with ideas, I just need more hours in the day! 🥰😍🥰
Marbling is a favourite look of mine. No two pieces will ever be the same so each piece is totally uniquethese are absolute stunning. And i saw the exact same picture in the marbling. The heather fields is my favorite followed closely by the galaxy one.
Oh Claire!! That rainbow trinket tray is something else!!! Am in love and when current resin is cured I am all n over that tomorrow!! Absolutely gobsmackingly stunning!!! You are clever!!
I know after all this time you're probably not reading comments, but Claire- you are my absolute hero right now! I've been trying so hard to get a subtle marble design in resincrete and no matter how TINY an amount of colorant I used it always comes out super dark. I never would have thought to try alcohol ink. ❤
I appreciate your video! I feel it is just as helpful for us beginners when people show what doesnt work as when being shown what does. Smart people learn from their mistakes. Wise people learn from other's mistakes. I love your creations and your energy! Appreciate you! 😊
Couple ideas - on the overloaded Galaxy pot, you can use your gold and silver markers to color in the dots for stars and little bits of sparkle. Okay - ideas of new expressions of love for Claire: 1. Over the Moon! 2. I want to have its babies! 3. SHAZAM! 4. SUPER-D-DUPER IMPRESSED WITH MYSELF! 5. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE! 6. On cloud nine! 7. Grinning from ear to ear! 8. So happy I could cry! 9. Delighted (I think you've used that) 10. A Happy Camper! that's all I got... for now.
Can't believe I missed the live chat! Hard day and fell asleep 🙈😂 Have a feeling that sales of brown alcohol inks are going to rise rapidly!! Absolutely stunning results chickadee xx
Wow, Claire! Absolutely breathtaking work! 🎉 I’ve had a bunch of alcohol ink but hesitated to use it, fearing it might not look right. Seeing your beautiful results has really inspired me! 😊
I can't choose one or another ! But maybe the little "capuccino" tray and pot ! Thank you so much for sharing ! I'll try this technique soon and of course I'll put a link to your channel (I do it always 😉).
Wow I love this, I have got hooked with jesmonite over last week , I think I am becoming obsessed , i am going to blame you, as I kept watching your videos 😂 x
I absolutely adore the marble trinket tray...it's so subtle and natural but I have to say that the Fields of Heather has stolen top spot for me and I love the imagery you created ❤️ Thanks as always for a fantastic video Claire 😊
Such beautiful work! I totally agree with you on the fields of heather one - STUNNING!! I'd love to see what happened if the jesmonite were colored first, and then the alcohol ink dropped in to create a marble, but all colored, no white. I wonder what would happen. I assume it would work. Anyway, THANKS for all you do! Happy Creating!!!!
Those beautiful soft swirled marbles are making me hungry for ice cream 😁 - I love them all. I swear I saw faces in the dark purple one that reminded of those old etchings of Greek and Roman gods.
Love watching all these! I finally found a aqua resin here in the US that says it’s a good alternative to jesmonite and waiting for it to get here and will be trying these techniques.
Absolutely gorgeous as always!!!! I think this is a great way to experiment with colour before committing to buying the jesmonite pigments. Thanks again Claire! Xx you could try your alcohol inks on yupo paper and then add that into your trays… would be a mix of both techniques then??!! Xx
These are absolute stunners! The cappuccino pair is definitely my favorite of the two sets. I've recently started experimenting with Permastone since Jesmonite is still difficult to get here in America, and I'm for sure going to give this a try with it.
Hi Claire love watching your videos and you have inspired me to start with Jesmonite - no experience at all with Jesmonite - so what I would like to know is do you do tutorials from start to finish? Do you sand them down at the end and put sealant or something on them to keep their colour - please advise ❤
These are beautiful, the marble is my favourite! Would there be a chance of testing light fastness as a short video? I've used alcohol ink to paint on jesmonite which is beautiful, then used kamar varnish and uv protectant on top of the ink. I'd love to know how the inks stand up when used in jesmonite like this. Thank you for all your wonderful videos 😍
Alcohol Inks fade so much in resin. Have you had time to see how well they keep the color in the Jesmonite? You may just be converting me. LOL. I’ve been resisting the Jesmonite because I didn’t like the pastel and muted effects. But these are stunning! THANKS CLAIRE!
Hi Claire! Could you do a video on creating spunky designs with acrylic? I’ve only ever seen solid colours and I know you can make anything an amazing creative project! ❤️❤️
1. I love the 🌈 and the galaxy candle holder. 2. You said you used “a lot” of ink in some, was that most of the bottle of ink or could you still make several pieces with each color? I need to try soon. 😀
Absolutely love this technique Claire! I think my favs are the marble effect and the purple/galaxy one. Having said that I also like the 🌈 tray. In other words I love them all! I’m using a product called Resmonite (Australia) and plan to experiment with it to see if I can get similar results? Thanks again for another fantastic video 🥰😍❤️
Does jesmonite pigment stain the moulds less than concrete pigment? I never worked with jesmonite, but I think I am getting too much pigment on my moulds with cement pigments, and it's hard to wash them out.
I'm outrageously obsessed with these Claire, Alcohol ink seems to be so popular just now, the trinket tray is honestly like something you get in the walls of the Vatican, elegant and textured. The Summerberry fool (Ive renamed it 🫐) you know my feels on that and im appropriately obsessed with the rainbow coloured one, it's rainbow but not completely pride.. Thankyou for sharing the mistakes, we are all learning along with you, honestly. I'm going to buy some alcohol ink next and try this.
Thankyoooooo so much Paul ❤️❤️❤️ glad you're as obsessed as me .. lol yessss Summerberry Fool is a totally perfect name .. so glad you live the Rainbow its just so different and yummy 😍😍
Amazing, rainbow is my favourite

Marbling is a favourite look of mine. No two pieces will ever be the same so each piece is totally uniquethese are absolute stunning. And i saw the exact same picture in the marbling. The heather fields is my favorite followed closely by the galaxy one.

These are all so amazing Claire! Thanks for using all of your inks to show us how you did this!
Absolutely gorgeous as always!!!! I think this is a great way to experiment with colour before committing to buying the jesmonite pigments. Thanks again Claire! Xx you could try your alcohol inks on yupo paper and then add that into your trays… would be a mix of both techniques then??!! Xx
I have done that and works great!! Just like cardstock sticks so does yupo/craft plastic.
Beautiful
Can't wait until my newborns are older and i can have a go at this ❤️❤️
ahhhh congratulations Lisa xxx
These are absolute stunners! The cappuccino pair is definitely my favorite of the two sets. I've recently started experimenting with Permastone since Jesmonite is still difficult to get here in America, and I'm for sure going to give this a try with it.

All are beautiful but fields of heather are my favourite.
Amazing 🤩
thank yoooo Petra xxx
Love the effects. Would this amount of alcohol ink weaken the finished jesmonite do you think?
einfach nur wunderschön
These are beautiful, the marble is my favourite! Would there be a chance of testing light fastness as a short video? Thankyoooo ❤️❤️❤️
Beautiful! Do you seal them? Or is it not nescesary with Jesmonite?
Alcohol Inks fade so much in resin. Have you had time to see how well they keep the color in the Jesmonite? You may just be converting me. LOL. I’ve been resisting the Jesmonite because I didn’t like the pastel and muted effects. But these are stunning! THANKS CLAIRE!
Love!!!
i an loving your videos especially this one as i was about to waste money i cant afford by using ink in my jesmonite
Amazing
thank yoooo xx funnily enough it was a lot of ink but the bottles didnt notice it gone haaa if that makes sense ... each bottle goes a long way x
Absolutely love this technique Claire! I think my favs are the marble effect and the purple/galaxy one. Having said that I also like the 🌈 tray. In other words I love them all! I’m using a product called Resmonite (Australia) and plan to experiment with it to see if I can get similar results? Thanks again for another fantastic video 🥰😍❤️
heyyyy Bron thankyoooo so much xxx ahhh yes I have heard of it I hope the results are the same xxx
Do you need to seal these trays and pots before use? If yes what do you seal it with please?
Good video. I’d advise not using complementary colors together in the rainbow version. Those create some muddy bits.
Like them all
Does jesmonite pigment stain the moulds less than concrete pigment?
I never worked with jesmonite, but I think I am getting too much pigment on my moulds with cement pigments, and it's hard to wash them out.
I’ve only got aqua cast atm would it work the same
I wonder if this will work in plaster of Paris type material…. I must give this a go lol 😂
"it looks like real marble!" now i wonder how quick Aliexpress is gonna catch on to that fact...
Rainbow, coffee, then purple. Sorry, i am just finding you. Been bidging on you for about a week.
🥰
L O V E !!!

Alcohol ink is the same as pigment?
