The anthem song You’re The Voice released in 1986 is John biggest hit . John career started in 1967 maybe sadly finished or forced into a hiatus due to he developed mouth cancer last year . John is now in recovery and apparently on the mend keeping a low profile .

His covers of hard rock, soul, light opera etc are all first class and often better than the original , including The Beatles, AC/DC and Led Zepplin. For you I suggest Gethsemane from an Australian production of Jesus Christ Superstar..... also a live performance of the full Superstar cast on a live TV show called Hey Hey It’s Saturday..... the song is Everything’s Alright. U Tube lists it as Kate Ceberano John Farnham and Jon Stevens. Choose the 7 minute video, not the shorter ones.

I usually agree with everyone re choosing the live version with John. Not for this one though - “Burn For You” is such a beautiful ballad and there’s always a few girls at concerts who’ll spoil it with their screeches and yelps!
