Actually, in WoW you have like 20 spells, you need to keep track of enemy's spells cooldowns, positioning, etc. I think that is more challenging from a mechanical point of view. Maybe playing WoW improved his mechanics in LoL? Who knows!
Theres a reason for why wow never became an esport. It's always had balence issues and it simply just isn't that hard. It's more so game knowledge and gimmicks then actual mechanical skill. I'm no glad, but I am duelist ranking when I did play as I'm primarily a mythic raider. I don't know which one but in one of shrouds videos, when he played csgo, they were told not to play wow because it led to a degradation of skill in their primary game.
@@Starkimonde WoW PVP is an e-sport, every year we have several tournaments including BlizzCon (it's like World Cup). There is WoW in e-sports as PVE and PVP. On another note, WoW has high mechanical skills. In a WoW arena you don't have any relax time like a "farm phase" in LoL. And some classes are highly mechanical such as rogue, mage, druid, etc. By playing WoW you'll still train awareness, mechanical skills (keyboard management is way more difficult in WoW than in LoL), communication, etc. Of course, you'll still have to dedicate 75-80% of your time to your primary game, or else you'll lose the game-specific mechanics such as animation cancelling, hourglass timing, flash combinations, ward hops, etc.

Every single other sport and athletes have coach to regulate how much their train and make sure they are not overdoing it while maximizing pratice time and what they do during pratice, eSports has a long way to go, but it'll get there!
its not that far off honestly, coaches mostly take care of team practice and teams assign coaches to young/rookie players. A lot of star players (the best example would be lebron) just straight up have their own coaches and they are the ones who are in control of how they train their body to a big extent, teams only check if theyre healthy, prohibit them from doing certain things (klay thompson cant skateboard for example) and take care of team practice. The problem is that esports dont require you to be physically fit so a lot of players dont really care about staying healthy, imo it has nothing to do with the coaches if a player says fuck this i want to play 20 hours a day to get better without leaving the computer its his choice
@@erykbuczek4704 You're essentially proving my point. Some athletes in other sports wouldn't know "how" to train properly their body for what sports they're doing. That's the entire point of having coaches take care of that sort of things. You just validated that in your example. So eSports is no exception, if they had better coaching and better supervision, someone could tell them: "Yeah, praticing on the computer is good, but it's important you stay in shape" (for example, core muscles, wrist, cardio...) and they wouldn't get to the point where they injure themselves.

My man Uzi aged his arms like 20 YEARS. What the actual fuck. I wonder if VR will become the new norm in 10 years, and free us from the chair.
This one did not age well
Bro Wunder is just a different breed
Wonder: Rarely play solo queue but dominate toplane
ana: Take long vacations but wins 2 TIs in a row
Both: What the odds?
Ana is more like come to take paycheck and than go for vocation, wonder is like quick part time job before going raid
That's true tho 😂😂😂
0:51 Listen to the sound here, just listen. Don't focus on Trevor's voice, listen to everything else.
I miss that so much. I want that back so bad.
Honestly, I would imagine playing after 8 hours of serious practice would default more to autopilot, means no major improvement from that. Only time I imagine playing soloQ would be huge benefit when new champion is released: muscle memory is important.
tbh, i've heard of people not liking taking a break from their game because it "throws em off" but when i take breaks i feel like in maybe a couple days, a week max, i'll be back where i was before the break
His Twitter is too good compared to the rest of the platform. He would just prophesize games (3-0'ing Team Liquid and Fnatic) or some good tweets that'd entertain you.
"yo ready for the fastest bo5 ever?" then proceed to assblasted TL 3-0 in 71 minutes
Yep, Im sad was quoted only fpx's one in this video smh
"We're holding the 3-0 for the finals against fnatic" after facing mad
Grabbz said that they mark Wunders WOW raids in the calender
Actually, in WoW you have like 20 spells, you need to keep track of enemy's spells cooldowns, positioning, etc. I think that is more challenging from a mechanical point of view. Maybe playing WoW improved his mechanics in LoL? Who knows!
Addons keep track of that for you.
@@Starkimonde Yes, but they don't press buttons for you
Theres a reason for why wow never became an esport.
Of course, you'll still have to dedicate 75-80% of your time to your primary game, or else you'll lose the game-specific mechanics such as animation cancelling, hourglass timing, flash combinations, ward hops, etc.
his interviews remind me of Kimi Raikkonen
"how are you handling the pressure?"
"bwoh.. this is just a hobby for me really so"
And then a Rookie comes to send you a reality check about how this game needs practise and not being cocky
I love the fact that his voice on helium is just a regular voice.
I'm sad that we won't see Ryze at worlds this year
I was never the greatest fan of G2 after the 2 poaching controversies, but I always loved Mikyx and Wunder. Wunder deserves the love.
I mean Wunder solo carried vs Rogue yesterday and today was also pretty solid but not as 1v9 as against Rogue
"This game fucking sucks"- Wunder and every LoL player ever
"He is danish, is it Wunder?" - proceeds to say it in a german accent...
Is it even a danish word? Would it be wuner because the d is silent. So it might be the german Word.
In German Wunder is in English wonder 😅
Soaz has the same approach. I dont think in a long term its gonna help, but who cares. He is already a legend. Personal life matters more!
That didn't age well..
Tbh, this video made me love not just wunder but whole g2 team
His time is up
Wunder seems like the Topson of League. Just super chill.
Topson just got stomped by Nisha tho
Yea he got smashed right after winning 2 straight TI's. I don't know man
@@alfonsopalacios2725 I mean his current perfomance leaves much to be desired
Aaaaand thats why he made those terrible mistakes against adam in 1v1. Talent is not all, if you dont practice enought some players will smash your face, if he doesnt change his mind there will be another toplaner in g2
G2 has to fire him already
Everybody knows he's amazing and he's still underrated.
He was slowly creeping up on me as my favourite player because at first he isnt that recognizable with Perkz and Caps on the team, and as much as I love the whole G2, he now has a special place in my fan heart.
Love so much the reference to iverson and the "practice"
g2 always has good vibes even when they lose.
1:17 I was expecting Ocelote to get really mad there, for some reason.
This hasnt aged well lol
How is LoL comp wrt structured vs loose?
How often in solo queues do pros run against strats, playstyles, and skill level like they do in pro comp?
Guys can you delete this? This guy really doesnt deserve his own videos cuz it seems that it got into his head. Now the dude cant even beat wildcard tops and couldnt even win in his own region
Still achieved more than u ever have or will, while still enjoying the games he actually wanted to play in his free time and making bank 😉
The background music is gold. Completely sums up Wunder lmao
This video didn't age well.
This video didnt age well xD
it makes sense. i play against lots of people who scream "fight me 1v1" when they play bad on 5v5
