Turbo is the perfect example of the true hardcore competitor. All game, high expectations, insanely consistent. What a god. If Rocket League was a big of a Esport as CSGO, DOTA, LOL etc., he would be considered one of the greatest esport players of all time. Seeing his rise has been insane and for me he is a fundamental part of the RLCS as a whole.

Him In the second hes a solid Player and in the third he is on a good pace to put him next to the 16 best players of tm. I still remember that first rlcs he played in, absolutely unreal watching that go down. It was like a movie. I stopped watching rocket league Midway through the next season, had no idea how far turbo made it. Absolutely incredible
Its incredible how the players of the old Dignitas team continued their success on separate teams Season 7 world champion Kaydop/Vitality Season 8 world champion Turbopolsa/NRG Season 9 EU champion ViolentPanda/Dignitas (no world championship due to covid)
and in Season 8 the 3 teams of them (NRG, Vitality and Dignitas) were all in the top 4 of the championship. Vitality won the semi final over Diginitas in game 7 and it was a close fucking match.
This gave me a whole new perspective on the JSTN buzzer beater since I saw NRG as the underdog but now I see that Turbo on Dig was also an underdog all along. Turbopolsa's humble and team-oriented attitude is really inspiring!
Finally they talk about the Turbopulsa! Seriously this guy deserves the reputation he gets. You go Turbo, also thank you for talking more about Rocket League, feels so good to hear more about it.
Crazy how Turbo demoed Kaydop, his former friend and teammate to prevent him from receiving the pass from ViolentPanda that he could've put directly in NRG's net. This lead to Garret being able to lob it downfield for jstn to score. Turbopolsa quite literally took the World Championship from Kaydop's hands and also earned back the MVP medal he gave away to him.

Now that you mention it, I actually can’t think of a more difficult game lol, sure luck plays a factor in the game but skill is overwhelmingly the main contributor to success.
Overwatch is harder. Playing casually rocket league and not taking it seriously: champ 1 at 300h Tryharding most ow: high plat 600h+ champ is basically masters in ow, supersonic is mid-high gm. And im really into fps and puzzle games aswell as doing lots of research on it. Personally rocket league is easy compared to ow.
@@darkwolf1739 Sounds like you're just naturally good at RL, honestly. Took me 2x the time to hit C1 than it took to hit Masters in OW. The thing that differentiates RL isn't /difficulty/, it's purity. There's no RNG (so IDK wtf Thomas was talking about luck..), there's nothing to *be* imbalanced, there's no pass button... just basically a really fast physics sandbox. Every other esport has some element of intentional rock-paper-scissors imbalance or RNG. RL has none.

I’m pretty sure the peeps’ run at dreamhack was in 2019 but that’s still a really good idea. It’d be really nice to see them talk about how literally nobody expected the peeps to even make playoffs because 1. They were a newly promoted RLCS team that had only faced RLRS level competition and 2. They’re best player, Arsenal, had just left for SSG and it was their first major tournament with mist.
