@@sodapop7531 It's a really really tight timing. I'll say they probably practiced it to a level if it was a pre-planned pick to get ryze into Karth, but you "just" need to have the exact timing of being in Ryze Ult exactly when the damage pops.
I played a bunch of ryze in 2019 and I'm pretty sure I only managed to do it once. He did it twice in the same game. That man's hands and brain are made of gold

After this offseason I can say i was a G2 fan, now im more interested in the new FNC-Vitality team. Carlos did them dirty ngl...... I wish the best for caps and jankos tho, they are both great.
Watching this iteration of G2 play has been the most fun I've ever had watching competitive league. For that I'm really grateful, but I wish this team will not be the least EU team to make me dream.
The year MAD had wasn't even close to what G2 was in full Glory.
This new Fnatic squad could be similar, we will see!
i think the biggest part for me is not that they played insanely good and still had great personalities but that they played like when i am playing with friends (in voicecomms without their shotcalling etc) and them just having fun in the games
this combined with the rest is what made them so strong this is why we fans love them

I'm from NA, but man, 2019 G2 was truly special. I don't think we will ever see a western team at this level again. I really believe it was a perfect mixture of coaching, individual player skill, mental fortitude, confidence, and team chemistry.

I miss G2 2019. So ahead of their time in term of understanding of the game and meta and so fun to watch at the same time. + They had the results to back up their trash talk.
Shame that Riot changed the game to put stuff like Dragon soul and champs like Aphelios and Viego the tactical and macro moves that G2 were doing against SKT (and other) to come back and win games are not even possible anymore.

Honestly, it's why I ever bothered watching pro play/worlds around that time. Their team dynamic got me hooked and after they split up I kinda started not caring about pro play again. Now I just watch their streams.
I remember seeing that Akali play where he followed Shen across the map. Wunder is amazing. Always will be.

Wow this reminded me of the G2 haydays of 2019. When everyone was among one of the best, if not the best in their roles and was prime contender for worlds. So sad to see them blow up like this...
But the year is 2021. Not 2019. 2 years in esports is a long ass time and Wunder has served his purpose. G2 as a team is nothing but a shade of the past, a distance memory that should never be forgotten BUT they are not half of that at the moment. Sometimes it's just tough to let it go... Maybe too tough for many G2 fans but moving on is always the correct option.

What is most impressive for me, is the oposition in this plays, it is not soloq shit, its world semis, msi, play off finals vs DAMWON SKT and FNC. Adam aint bad, but there is a lot to learn still from Wunder.

Champion pool size is directly proportional to talent, talented players can pick up any champion in no time with high potential, other top laners, even some like adam struggle to adapt to new /different champions to bruisers like renekton darius olaf

Also Bwipo was so bad they tried Soaz in the 3rd game the most even game because at least Soaz was good at cancelling lanes . But Wunder actually won them .

My theory is Perks was a man who motivated and lead the team beyond what they would normally do . Even 2018 with Wunder he took down RNG in one of the biggest upsets in worlds history given they had a Heimer 1 trick bot.
