Hands down a must buy!!! Ahhh the memories
Passed up on this at my local F.Y.E., they only had 2 available. Massive regret. Then I figured why not try directly from the company themselves and lo and behold, it ended up being cheaper than buying it at F.Y.E., even with shipping. Rare these days. The presentation/packaging is just stellar. Only time I've really been mesmerized by a modern reproduction of an action figure and felt the immediate need to buy it.
Yeah it really is a beautiful repro. Fingers crossed Trick or Treat keep the line going and give us an updated Major Disaster and Nozone. Absolutely loved those figures as a kid!! Good score getting it cheaper!! It wasn’t too pricey for me either even with the Aussie premium added. Thanks for your comment dude. @@DAVEcaveDAVE. 😂 I'm like a little kid waiting for it so I wanted to see a review video and surprisingly could only find yours. Short intro, solid graphics/logo, excellent shots, great lighting, narration only, audio all mixed and leveled perfectly. The white tabletop really helps whatever your reviewing stand out. I don't know what else a toy collector could want from someone doing these types of videos. Subscribed brother!!

Solve the mop issue mate 😅 by putting a bit of hair spray on your finger and rubb it around the insert knob on the mop handle takes care of issue!!! Nice and tight after!!!

Yeah another commenter mentioned it happened to theirs as well so maybe it was fixed after the first run or something? Not a big deal for a “dirty opener” as some over here call me 😂
I’ve still got the og figure from when I was a kid. I think I have two of him… maybe. I didn’t have the others.
I had a vintage figure that just had shield & mop but sold it when this figure was announced as i wanted a complete version and knew this figure would drop resale prices of the vintage original once released.
The others were excellent man!! Just really imaginative and grotesque figures!! Loved them all!
If you rotate his left arm and head you can slip the belt off over his head with out damaging it.

This is a great figure but as you remarked it comes with several flaws: 1) Bandolier upside down on all figures out of the factory 2) Bandolier fitment is super tight and clasp wont unclip without breaking 3) Grenades struggle or wont fit into bandolier due to tight fit and new slanted handles 4) Blobie peg is too long 5) Weapon grip quite loose. However its still a beautiful figure and sculpted really well but you can tell with the QA issues that Trick or Treat are fairly new to action figure creation. In regards to the Mayor and Yvonne they said they will only release them if sales of Toxie go well, so we have to hope the line is a success.
I knew I wasn’t tripping when I saw those grenade handles!! My memory served me correctly!! So with the downsides I can totally still justify the purchase for this guy. While some of those issues were annoying, for the most part I was able to get past them with a bit of know-how. The grenades remain annoying but once they’re in and he’s posed on the shelf, they no longer bother me lol! I’d be very interested to see if Trick or Treat learn from these QC issues here with future releases. My fingers are crossed!

A vintage complete figure is NOT cheaper or better value in the grand scheme of things. If you had dunked him in hot water it would have softened the bandoleer and it would have been potentially easier to remove but hey, alls well that ends well
