I remember watching this as a kid and trying to rent The Toxic Avenger (upon which this is based). I couldn't figure out why the owner of the video store said no until I managed to convince my mom to rent it for me. Yeah, the video store owner was right to say no.
You when you look back at the 80's and early 90's. Their were alot of movies not realy meant for kids, that they turned into Cartoons. This one is funny because of just how Un-Kid-Friendly the toxic advenger was! lol
Similar situation for myself. My mom rented it for me. Part 2 actually, she was unaware of what the movies really were about. Well, sure enough, there's Toxie on the crapper, there's Toxie boning the shit out of lady. Needless to say I had to turn away & Im pretty sure we didnt finish watching the movie

Not to dis anyone's childhood or offend you, but isn't gore, violence, and boobs what the movie was mostly about? Granted I've never seen it, so I could be very wrong.
I like this as a cartoon! The movie sucked! Yes I tryed to watch the movie an it sucked! I guess it because I grown up watching the cartoon! The cartoon better!
I love how the cartoon still has that campy B movie feel just like the movies :)
I think the cartoon took to the troma series quite well and stuck to true authenticity of the toxic avenger with out the boobs gore and violence.
I cant believe they made a kids cartoon of one of the most perverse gory, and physiologically f'd up movies ever... I LOVE IT!!!!!!!
