Thanks for this review. Cannot stress enough on the balance of leather and mesh and just by looking at it it feels positive, your review confirms it. Didn't know about the Superfabric. I have used ViaTerra tank-bag and trail-pak and can vouch for their quality. I hope this continues the trend. Will wait for the long term review.
Your reviews are amazing, a boon for riders. I have to buy my first pair of gloves, which I'll be using only for touring. My budge is limited(3-4k) but I wouldn't mind spending a little more if it makes worth spending more. So I have shortlisted a few gloves, if you would be kind to help me out:- 1) Tarmac Rapid Fits my budget really well 2) Cramster k2k(₹4.1k) & trg2(₹2.8k, again fits the budget well) 3) Shield full gauntlets (around 4k) 4) Korda track full (₹4.2k) 5) Shima stx(₹4.5k found fit & finish really good, atleast in pictures) 6) Rynox evo storm 2(₹5k, a little over my budget) Brother along with safety, durability is also really important for me, I don't want to again spend ₹3-4k. Should I got with tarmac or should I soend more if more money means more durability? Really hoping for your reply.
I wish they had a short-cuff version of this. Holeshot is similar, but I don't like Knox SPS that much. Also, external seams in fingers are much more comfortable.
The engine is designed to dissipate heat and work for long hours at a stretch. Only if you are using it at full throttle, you may need to take a break for cooling down. Otherwise no issues. Just make sure oil level is sufficient. Safe drive.
Seems like Viaterra hasn't perfected the stitching of the SuperFabric component. The finish of that seems lacking. Also, this SuperFabric looks different from what brands like Held and Revit use.
Ghys please remember, these are in NO WAY SHAPE OR FORM SUPERIOR TO THE GRID, THE GRIDS BETTER IN TERMS OF ABSOLUTE SAFETY AND PROTECTION. THIS IS A MORE COMFORTABLE GLOVE AND THAT FACTOR COMES WITH CONSIDERATION TO DAILY USE WHERE COMFORT IS MOTE IMPORTANT THAN ABSOLUTE SAFETY. GROD FOR ABSOLUTE SAFETY, KRUGER FOR REALISTIC DAILY USE AND SLIGHTLY LOWER LEVEL OF PROTECTION COMPARED TO THE GRID
