In 2014-2016 Ronaldo fans like to blame Messi and Messi fans like to blame Higuain. Both are right, but more than that, the entire national team was simply bad, the football was not at a high level. The most important player Di Maria was injured in all 3 finals. This team definitely deserved no more than finals. But right now I think Messi and his team deserve to take another Copa America. What they failed to do then they are doing today. The biggest success story I know in football and the biggest failure story I know😢😮❤️🙏
He was one of the best strikers, scored great goals and 250 goals in first leagues plus 29 in MLS... Under these circumstances. We called him Higany in Hungary as a nickname sometimes (which means mercury in English).
I find it funny that you say they had to find him all the way in Argentina playing for River Plate:))) like they scouted him from amateur league:))) he was playing at one of the biggest teams in the world:)))
The biggest problem of his is, he always wanted to outshine Messi in Argentina. When he scored the offside goal and pointing at him, people understand this guy only play for himself and wanted to more than what he is.
make a video about Abédi Pelé. The guy is just so criminally underrated man, they gave him the nickname pelé for a reason... Also won the afcon and was named african player of the year 3 times yetttttt nobody knows his nameee so unfair. pls try to introduce the world to this forgotten legend
this guy deserves zero sympathy, he’s not some underrated legend. Timo Werner was having multiple 25, 30 and 40 G/A contributions in serie A for fun. This man scored 2 goals in 20 plus matches his first season. 8 the next season when Barca was winning trophies. Messi almost went trophy-less for country because of this man.
Missing a penalty in a final is understandable, because i takes allot of nerves to stay cool in that situation, and you have all the time in the world to overthink. It's worse when you miss 1v1 vs goalkeeper as a striker, because you don't have time to overthink, it's all instinct for a striker at that point. And Higuain fell short as a striker when it mattered, several times. He's definitely no Mario Kempes.
He was terrrible in argentina finals and in Madrid champions. He was more a striker to win leagues scoring tons of goals like in napoli or juve and even in Madrid being a sub (120 goals).
He was the exact opposite type of a striker a team would need to win a title , he was a bad vibe and always gave that feeling that he is going to miss goals more that scoring it .
Higuain always came across as the type of player that, when he was up and coming, could play with minimal pressure and expectation - particularly at Madrid - because of the players around him... but with Argentina it seems that the pressure was absolutely immense and he would snatch at chances that he would score at club level. I feel like it was almost as if he knew that might be the one chance he got, whereas at club level there's always another match
Higuain did not ”simply leave Napoli to win silverware”. Sure that was part of the reason but his relationship with President De Laurentiis was completely broken down months before him leaving. They did not get along at all and De Laurentiis even called Higuain ”As fat and overweight as a brick of concrete” in the middle of the season he broke the record for most goals in Serie A. Could he have gone to another club than Juve? Maybe, but I don’t think any other club were willing to match his release clause of 90 million € at that time given that he was 29 years old.
You know Higuaín was underrated when knobody knows he broke the record of most goals in seria A with 36, everybody forgets that and he was key in Madrid leagues. Imagine if he was mexican, indian or asian..he would be called legend.
I remember when I used to play Football Manager 2009, I put Higuain and Balotelli in front, both Wonderkid, bagged me Champions League and Scudetto using Fiorentina. He was good.
Can you make a video on Dunga from Brazil? He’s one of the best defensive midfielders to play and even had more passes than Xavi in World Cup that he won 1994. No disrespect to Xavi who’s a midfield god obviously. But I feel nobody knows how good he was and was in my opinion way better than most
This video tells me every body in football was a baller at once before injuries at once I was good I was a goal scorer but when that knee injury happened it affected my pace dribbling shooting one point I got so much hate even I was the one who never picked me
Now take a look at Di Maria and what he had to go through. He also had poor games, he also couldn't make it, he also was insulted. But he still wanted to try, he still wanted to make his generation and Messi win something. Higuain never had the mentality for that.
Higuaín was a phenomenal striker, go watch the goal highlights and you'll see some of the most beautiful goals ever made by an elite player, it's unfortunate that he's remembered more for his misses which were some nototorious ones not going to lie, but still was a tremendous player despite that

Carried?? That's insane 😂
The only Argentine Papa Perez really wanted was in Barcelona 😆
No matter what people say he will always have a spot in my heart! MADRID! MADRID! MADRID!
It’s hilarious that he is hated by Messi’s fans because of poor performances in finals especially in the 2014 WC final, but Messi was also bad in this game (Missed a crucial 1 v 1 against Nueur, or poor performance against Chile in copa’s finals) Higuain was amazing in the early 2010s
This kid is feeling all sensitive now becuz he's watching a video about Higuain 😂
I bet if this was a video about a player from the 70s, you'd have say "he's the goat 😢🥺" with all sensitivities 😂
Higuain was average..He had chances upon chances..Messi had 2, 3, 4 defenders marking him
If Ronaldo had that markings he wouldn't have even scored 200 goals in his career
Messi supposed to have 2 world cups, so it don't even got to be a debate on who the goat is
In 2014-2016 Ronaldo fans like to blame Messi and Messi fans like to blame Higuain.
The biggest success story I know in football and the biggest failure story I know😢😮❤️🙏
@@eL--RaL salty messi fan now you guys should enjoy he is the GOAT you don't need to meat ride him now
Higuian was ishowspeed when it came to cant miss goals and misses them.
"he was playing at one of the biggest teams in the world:)))"
🤣🤣🤣
The biggest problem of his is, he always wanted to outshine Messi in Argentina. When he scored the offside goal and pointing at him, people understand this guy only play for himself and wanted to more than what he is.
Higuian is the biggest disgrace in Argentina football history. If only he didn’t choke and bottle those finals
Lautaro nearly became Higuain in 2022 worldcup too. Thank god , Argentina have Alvarez at the moment 😬
Higuain was in a class of his own ❤
ya the special ed class
@@paulmansi797💀💀💀💀
As a Madridista, I will always remember El pipita and his time at the bernabeu
Plz add more funny skits like higuian missing the penalty meme, lmao great job m8
Honor and loyalty will get you far.
I remember him at Madrid and Napoli. His bad decision making is summarized by leaving Napoli to join Juventus. Fans felt betrayed
We laughed at all Napoli fans😂 he chose the better club
Proves how horrible people can be for something that can be so unserious.
You must be really daft if you think bottling 3 chances for Messi to win international trophies is unserious

@@maxwellmaragia2272at the end of the day it is a sport. Not the end of the world

make a video about Abédi Pelé. The guy is just so criminally underrated man, they gave him the nickname pelé for a reason... Truly one of the best playmakers of his generation and one of the best african players of all time he won everythingggggg Ligue 1 (3x), UAE pro league and even the champions league. Also won the afcon and was named african player of the year 3 times yetttttt nobody knows his nameee so unfair. pls try to introduce the world to this forgotten legend
👍
@@amsterdamG2G lovee🙌🏾
Dont miss him too much , lautaro martinez will continue his legacy.
Got a lot of hate for big misses when even Messi had those misses in those big games
not really 😂😂, not missing tap ins like that
this guy deserves zero sympathy, he’s not some underrated legend. Timo Werner was having multiple 25, 30 and 40 G/A contributions in serie A for fun. This man scored 2 goals in 20 plus matches his first season. 8 the next season when Barca was winning trophies. Messi almost went trophy-less for country because of this man.
Why would it be a shock to have to go "all the way to Argentina", and ESPEICALLY to River to find talent? 😂
I knew he would miss that PK against Chile in 2015 final. Was actually happy when he came up to take it, lol. 🇨🇱
In hindsight it’s easy to say it was a mistake to pick Higuain for Argentina, but he was scoring so many goals for Napoli. He was undeniable.
In the end Higuain turned into Benzema
He was the exact opposite type of a striker a team would need to win a title , he was a bad vibe and always gave that feeling that he is going to miss goals more that scoring it .
Should have just declared for France
8:10 hahahahahahahah didnt expect that! 🤣🤣🤣🤣👊👊👏👏🥶🥶
no matter what his records were all stat padding. i hate this guy with a passion. he was super good with no winner mentality.
I remember when he played for Chelsea on loan. Scored a few decent goals
"In a club full of great players, don't compete, just play your best and win everything" - Zidane
Bellingham understood the assignment
Higuain did not ”simply leave Napoli to win silverware”. Sure that was part of the reason but his relationship with President De Laurentiis was completely broken down months before him leaving. They did not get along at all and De Laurentiis even called Higuain ”As fat and overweight as a brick of concrete” in the middle of the season he broke the record for most goals in Serie A. Could he have gone to another club than Juve? Maybe, but I don’t think any other club were willing to match his release clause of 90 million € at that time given that he was 29 years old.
You forgot that one Champions League miss that would put Madrid through too. Dude was massively unlucky when it came to key moments.
His number bottlejobs in finals is more than barcelona's bottlejobs in UCL
You know Higuaín was underrated when knobody knows he broke the record of most goals in seria A with 36, everybody forgets that and he was key in Madrid leagues.
Imagine if he was mexican, indian or asian..he would be called legend.
You left out when higuan got knock out by Neuer in the WC final
When it matters most.. u see who are the best and who can’t get it done
Higuain was insanely good. Super overhated. And underrated.
i think he is overhated
Overhated?? Stop feeling all sentimental kid
@@eL--RaLeh he is still over hated
Eh
He was horrible in those finals for Argentina, but overall still a better international performer than Aguero and obviously an amazing club player.
Higuain is the Worst nightmare of every messi fan💀
I remember when I used to play Football Manager 2009, I put Higuain and Balotelli in front, both Wonderkid, bagged me Champions League and Scudetto using Fiorentina. He was good.
This just reminds me of Lautaro, he'll take you there but can't pin the final nail in the coffin
We will never forget Higuain. Never. May he rot inhell.
Can you make a video on Dunga from Brazil? He’s one of the best defensive midfielders to play and even had more passes than Xavi in World Cup that he won 1994. No disrespect to Xavi who’s a midfield god obviously. But I feel nobody knows how good he was and was in my opinion way better than most
Higuainis is the reason messi loves luis Suarez....When messi lays a pass ...Suarez will always take it .
Make a video about the Ghana legend Essien please, love the vids btw😊
You need not just talent but a lot of confidence to shine on the biggest moments, and you can see from this video that madrid already damaged his
Higuain took Argentina to the 2014 final, let's not forget that
In Argentina, if you sail the ball over, people will probably scream “HIGUAIN!”
This video tells me every body in football was a baller at once before injuries at once I was good I was a goal scorer but when that knee injury happened it affected my pace dribbling shooting one point I got so much hate even I was the one who never picked me
8:00 horrible pass? if it was a little more slow or arrived a little later, it would have been intercepted. Why anyone would blame Lavezzi for that?
Now take a look at Di Maria and what he had to go through. He also had poor games, he also couldn't make it, he also was insulted. But he still wanted to try, he still wanted to make his generation and Messi win something. Higuain never had the mentality for that.
If he didn’t fumble he would be by now a Argentina Legend
Love your videos ❤
Higuaín was a phenomenal striker, go watch the goal highlights and you'll see some of the most beautiful goals ever made by an elite player, it's unfortunate that he's remembered more for his misses which were some nototorious ones not going to lie, but still was a tremendous player despite that
Lautaro Martinez needs to shrug off Higuain kind of Argentina performances ...I can foresee him wielding pressure
Who remembers when Higuain and Dani Alves destroyed Monaco in the ucl semi
Yeah he's been good for some few years but doesn't remove the fact that Messi would have 2 World Cup by now without this rat
Great video!
It’s a team game. Plenty of all time greats missed out on championships because their supporting casts were not good enough.
