Lol the agenda is unreal. Costa was one of the best strikers of the decade. I get it they try to shift it to make it look as he failed notably in the end for dramatical purposes. He won a Liga for Atletico during prime Barca/Madrid AND the Messi era, reaching a UCL final. He won the premier twice being their top scorer. He then won several more trophies including a Europa League which is really downplayed in the video. Spain's downfall started in 2013, a year before he joined them, and he had nothing to do with it. He played in two world cups being Spain's top scorer in 2018.

Im biased because Diego Costa is one of my favorite players ever but to say he didnt perform as well at Chelsea is a complete lie. He dominated the 3 seasons we had him. He had 68 G/a in 89 appearances, I would say that was great especially in a league more competitive than La Liga

Just imagine, if he had chosen to play for Brazil in the 2014 World Cup. Brazil would have won it.
Diego Costa was in his prime and Brazil was lacking of a world class striker.
The likes of Fred & Jo were simply not good enough.
With Neymar, Thiago Silva, Hulk and Costa, they could have won it.

its funny to think of making this choice right before the 2014 cup. I mean, what would be worse? be in Spain losing 5x1 to netherlands than 2x0 to chile (yes a 7x1 aggregate) and being eliminated right in the second game of the cup in a disastrous campaign or be in the Brasil team who lost 7x 1 in the most embarrasing World cup humiliation any nation has ever had?
