I’m a member of Zeta Phi Beta, Inc. (legacy). I’ve watched a few denouncing videos from different organizations. I don’t disregard anyone’s experiences, but I haven’t given my whole heart, mind, soul to any organization & I’m involved in a few. If I make it to an event or Boule great, if I don’t oh well. I think you're confused about the purpose of denouncing it's for your salvation no matter if you're a active member or not if you do not denounce your letters then when you pass away you shall be judged accordingly. gods not gonna say "well you're good because you didn't pay your dues or because you didn't go to Boule but you're still gonna burn! Period. It's about the pledge that you make to the organization that keeps you bound!
Praise God for your obedience. I denounced Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated for the very same reason, God said so. It wasn’t until after I chose to obey that God gave me understanding as to why I needed to do this. It is idolatry plain and simple and I’ve heard people say the contrary, but it is what it is. As soon as I determined in my heart that I would obey I got rid of EVERYTHING AKA and contacted the national office to officially have my name removed. I thank God for our obedience and I know that God is pleased. We must continue to share this message. Blessings to you and your husband.
Amen you have to keep paying not only money, but your time, your talents, everything to the sorority, when Jesus paid it all, His gift of salvation and life is free. The devil will always offer counterfeit relationships through these organizations and to follow Satan will cost you more than you ever wanted to pay, take you farther than you ever wanted to go, and keep you longer than you ever wanted to stay.
No disrespect.. but, how do you figure "life is free?" Yes, we put money, time and our talents into the sorority. That is to keep the organization going, have things for events and such, and to give donations to charities. So, isn't that similar to when you go to church on Sunday's and put ya money in the collection plate?? The church has bills right? The Pastor is putting that money where exactly? When the church has retreats and various events, is all of that free? No. Furthermore, there are many prominent leaders such as Pastors that are members of the D9, so please don't be a hypocrite.
@@shaniamos183 the gift of salvation is a free gift of God, meaning I nor can anyone pay for it, when I say life is free i am talking about being free from sin. Just because a preacher is in these organizations doesn't make them godly. There are many preachers who are teaching false doctrines just like the bible warns that wolves in sheep clothing will creep in and deceive many. There are many "church" activities that are nothing more than traditions of men, not of God or the Bible.

I've listen to other sorority denouncements as well. Let's make this clear, Zeta does not worship false Gods/Goddesses, kneel to alters, have no idols or have anything demonic. In fact, we pray to God. This other organization may do this, I cannot say but, that's not us.
I’m currently doing my research into Greek Orgs. I guess I’m just a little confused when watchin this video because she doesn’t get into any specifics like saying “When I crossed, I was told to do BLANK and that directly goes against biblical principles” (She didn’t say this, just an example). I researched Zeta Phi Beta thinking they were inclusive and different from the other sororities (I go to a PWI) and I guess I just would like to know some the specifics. And also some Bible verses to reference and do a study on for myself. Please help..
They never do! I’m looking for the same info and they never say anything concrete, no real evidence other than what they personally feel in their spirit.

Thank you for making this vid! My daughter has pledged to Zeta and I cannot tell you how deeply it has hurt me. I struggle to maintain a loving relationship with her although she claims that her membership has no negative effect on her or her walk with Christ. Surely I see that it does, based on what the Bible states clearly about "Idolatry." She will not take the time to research this like I have encouraged her to do. I tried sending a couple vids of other"s denouncing, but I don't believe she watched them in part or at all. Everyday I have to work on avoiding any conversation or anything that has to do with Zeta and just giving it to God in prayer. I raised her to love the Lord our God (Jesus) with all her heart, soul and mind. People think because God has not told them (personally) to denounce that they are alright. Unfortunately "idolatry" is what it is and the scriptures are loud and clear, that it is sin. So people can go to church and "call" themselves a Christian or anything else they want. Sadly, they will be judged by God for living a life of "idolatry" and also for the "rebellion" of not forsaking it, as God has instructed in his word (Bible). I pray that everyone will see the error in this following and turn so that they will not stand before God and have to give an account for it. It is then that they will also find that all the charitable works they did in the name of Zeta, AKA and all other GLO's, will not save them. Those works will perish with them!

I'm not an active member currently but i crossed in undergrad. I have no clue how to go about it officially. Send a letter to national head quarters? What exactly needs to be said in the letter? Would you mind letting me know the exact step by step process you had to take? I would be so grateful.
I'm a recently reclaimed Zeta. I am proud of my Christianity and I'm also a proud Zeta. I will be honest that these videos are making me go back and read all the information I have acquired. I will do my due diligence before expressing an opinion. I will say that my undergraduate experience was terrible, but the chapter I am apart of is filled with awesome women who are dedicated to service. I want to be fully informed before I say or do anything further.

👋 Hi I am very sorry for your experience. Unfortunately, just like any organization in the world, there are good, friendly and kind people and there are the opposites. I am a strong, devout Christian (40+ years) and a Zeta (30+ years). I can proudly say and thank God that neither I, nor ANY of our interests over the 30+ years that I have been a member, have ever had to kneel down to ANY alter, ever. It is simply not in our program. Nor is any twisting of God’s word in our program. In fact, we don’t worship any cats, ‘pledge our souls’ to ANYTHING, etc. Be blessed and favored by God in His spirit and truth. What a great point.... we don't know the origins of Greek letter organizations... only the history of each specific one. That's a great call out for those with ears to hear it.
My ex-girlfriend is a Zeta, she just went to homecoming and the stories that she told me were very disturbing of 5 days of getting drunk and high, just didn't agree with my spirit. I looked at the pictures and the hand symbols they were using and noticed the hand symbols of the cat, resemble the satanic hand symbol. Of course she has been in this for 18 yrs and of course, immediately went into a defense against this sorority. We both are trying to live for Christ but she didn't want to receive what she was in is demonic. She said she was never going to stop and she was going to keep on doing it, let me know it was time for me to depart ways with her.

Was in Walmart the other day,after having seen some of these videos,This lady was in her LATE sixties,She was a lighter skin lady,She was wearing AKA from top to bottom,I know that's a different organization,but you get my drift,She had a big pink and green head wrap,a long matching skirt,purse, lettering,I mean she was covered, besides the obvious,what really drew my attention to her..was the way she walked,it was like a slow strut,I instantly thought of these denouncing videos. It might help to put scripture to what you’re saying so others can see where your basis was. I have denounced as well. I say to others who do not believe go to God for yourself and seek what He wants you to do but also ask that He open your heart and mind to hear what He has to say and have a heart of acceptance to His answer. Everything good isn’t God but everything God is good.
Thank you for the insight or decision to denounce Zeta. Can you spell out in detail about the demonic nature of the sorority? It seems that you are talking about the immaturity of young folks on a college campus. I pledged undergrad in the 80's but was crossed by a graduate chapter so I never experienced the ceremony with candles. Secondly, when you spoke of the dues and giving, we do the same thing in the church when I give my tithes and offering. Also, about those folks that did not want to associate with you after your decision were only i your life for a season. You making a decision like that would not make me not want to be friends with you. Idolatry comes from the individual, I do not idolize ZPB or OES in which I am a member of both. At this stage in my life God is the center of my life. ZPB has prayed for me and my family as my mother lays in a hospital with the virus. I am not sure about your experience but I have seen God all in ZPB. Thank you for your view but I have not seen any of what you have seen. I will be praying for your parents and their spiritual maturity, they should not let ZPB have any impact on your relationship. God called them first to be your parent and not sister and brother in some organization. Again thank you, I will keep you and others like you in prayer.

To answer your question.... Do not be deceived! The rituals and covenants of crossing over as a Zeta are very much demonic. I’m not sure how you crossed without the blindfold and candles or not verbally stating that above all you pledge ALL of your peace/love/happiness to Zeta, or that the spirits of the 5 pearls would forever be the guiding force to the Zeta light. It is idolatry and witchcraft and sadly most of us don’t remember the actual oaths and covenants entered into bc it is immediately taken from our memory in the midst of our excitement... but through prayer and fasting you will remember and I’m certain you’ll even be embarrassed that you agreed to say it or follow through with it!The adversary will never present himself to you as the adversary... instead he’s cunning and will always hide behind the supposedly “good” things that are taking place. Remember that he too was one of Gods angels in heaven. I believe that your sorors are praying from the depths of their hearts for the healing of your loved one. Just like you, I love every one of my LS’s and I know how we’ve prayed and worshipped together and satan is perfectly fine to let that happen bc the covenant was already entered into and until it’s denounced he holds the fate of your eternal home. Please understand, I am not an outsider or a rejected wannabe, I pledged (the hard way) and I proudly wore my letters bc I felt that I earned them through blood sweat and tears. I wouldn’t even entertain trying to get a neophyte to understand why I denounced my letters bc I was just as zealous as they are...if not overly zealous Research the Egyptian goddess Bastet. Look into the rituals and see it for what it is. I became a member of Zeta Phi Beta in a college campus and never experienced anything you spoke on. But, if anything, person, or organization you feel disturbs your spritual connection with God by all means you should disconnect with it. Perhaps, before you entered the sorority you should've also prayed and fasted for direction from God before joining. I've experienced the total opposite encounters since being in the sorority and have encountered sisters that are preacher's of the gospel and Christians whom let you know real quick. ....God is whom they serve and not a sorority.

I just recently denounced my membership in AKA....right at about a month ago. I was extremely active, so when I submitted my Letter of Withdrawal to my local chapter (and a few days later to the Corporate Office) it was a SHOCK, to say the least, to my former chapter members, friends, and family. In fact, my husband said my decision was “foolish”. If you don’t mind me asking.....how was your decision received?

I am wondering where did you do your research? I'm genuinely asking. I became a member of an NPHC organization earlier this year and I've been doubting my decision ever since. Since joining I have been told that certain things are an act such as sisterhood. That really bothered me since that was a reason I joined. And I also joined because I wanted to be a part of something that would help the community on a large scale and I don't see that happening the way that I was made to believe. Also a lot of the expectations associated with Greek life have been bothering me such as all of the looking down on someone because they don't go to every event. I didn't join for an organization to come first. I joined to be involved which is not normal for me I'm an extroverted person. And there's SO much drama. I'm heavily considering what you're saying. I have now watched videos of people denouncing from Zeta, Delta, and AKA and all of it is making me consider the NPHC organization I joined and whether or not I am apart of something that is in alignment with what I believe as an individual.

Stop blaming the org for what you did. The org didn’t make you do anything and you need to take responsibility for your own actions. No one make you join the org you made that choice on your own. Own up and take responsibility for what you did. You chose to go to parties/drink and partake in Greek like functions. No one is to blame but yourself.
Ok so to each his own but as a member of Zeta for over 30 years ....I find it disheartening that you would take your experience and twist it into the over all experience for Zeta membership. First of you alledge your mother is a member so you had inside first hand knowledge. You stated you didn't even really join for the right reasons more so you felt obligated. I'm very much a Christian and Zeta has never made me call that in to question. You seem to be craving attention do some other unmet needs in your life . If your being call on by God you wouldn't thrive off recognition for it .... No disrespect.. but, how do you figure "life is free?" Yes, we put money, time and our talents into the sorority. That is to keep the organization going, have things for events and such, and to give donations to charities. So, isn't that similar to when you go to church on Sunday's and put ya money in the collection plate?? The church has bills right? The Pastor is putting that money where exactly? When the church has retreats and various events, is all of that free? No. Furthermore, there are many prominent leaders such as Pastors that are members of the D9, so please don't be a hypocrite.

Just because a preacher is in these organizations doesn't make them godly. I’m currently doing my research into Greek Orgs. I guess I’m just a little confused when watchin this video because she doesn’t get into any specifics like saying “When I crossed, I was told to do BLANK and that directly goes against biblical principles” (She didn’t say this, just an example). I researched Zeta Phi Beta thinking they were inclusive and different from the other sororities (I go to a PWI) and I guess I just would like to know some the specifics. And also some Bible verses to reference and do a study on for myself. Please help..

Thank you for making this vid! My daughter has pledged to Zeta and I cannot tell you how deeply it has hurt me. I struggle to maintain a loving relationship with her although she claims that her membership has no negative effect on her or her walk with Christ. Surely I see that it does, based on what the Bible states clearly about "Idolatry." She will not take the time to research this like I have encouraged her to do. I tried sending a couple vids of other"s denouncing, but I don't believe she watched them in part or at all. Everyday I have to work on avoiding any conversation or anything that has to do with Zeta and just giving it to God in prayer. I raised her to love the Lord our God (Jesus) with all her heart, soul and mind. People think because God has not told them (personally) to denounce that they are alright. Unfortunately "idolatry" is what it is and the scriptures are loud and clear, that it is sin. So people can go to church and "call" themselves a Christian or anything else they want. Sadly, they will be judged by God for living a life of "idolatry" and also for the "rebellion" of not forsaking it, as God has instructed in his word (Bible). I pray that everyone will see the error in this following and turn so that they will not stand before God and have to give an account for it. It is then that they will also find that all the charitable works they did in the name of Zeta, AKA and all other GLO's, will not save them. Those works will perish with them!

I'm a recently reclaimed Zeta. I am proud of my Christianity and I'm also a proud Zeta. I will be honest that these videos are making me go back and read all the information I have acquired. I will do my due diligence before expressing an opinion. I will say that my undergraduate experience was terrible, but the chapter I am apart of is filled with awesome women who are dedicated to service. I want to be fully informed before I say or do anything further.

I am a strong, devout Christian (40+ years) and a Zeta (30+ years). I can proudly say and thank God that neither I, nor ANY of our interests over the 30+ years that I have been a member, have ever had to kneel down to ANY alter, ever. It is simply not in our program. Nor is any twisting of God’s word in our program. In fact, we don’t worship any cats, ‘pledge our souls’ to ANYTHING, etc. Be blessed and favored by God in His spirit and truth. My ex-girlfriend is a Zeta, she just went to homecoming and the stories that she told me were very disturbing of 5 days of getting drunk and high, just didn't agree with my spirit. I looked at the pictures and the hand symbols they were using and noticed the hand symbols of the cat, resemble the satanic hand symbol. Of course she has been in this for 18 yrs and of course, immediately went into a defense against this sorority. We both are trying to live for Christ but she didn't want to receive what she was in is demonic. She said she was never going to stop and she was going to keep on doing it, let me know it was time for me to depart ways with her.

Was in Walmart the other day,after having seen some of these videos,This lady was in her LATE sixties,She was a lighter skin lady,She was wearing AKA from top to bottom,I know that's a different organization,but you get my drift,She had a big pink and green head wrap,a long matching skirt,purse, lettering,I mean she was covered, besides the obvious,what really drew my attention to her..was the way she walked,it was like a slow strut,I instantly thought of these denouncing videos.

It might help to put scripture to what you’re saying so others can see where your basis was. I have denounced as well. I say to others who do not believe go to God for yourself and seek what He wants you to do but also ask that He open your heart and mind to hear what He has to say and have a heart of acceptance to His answer. Thank you for the insight or decision to denounce Zeta. Can you spell out in detail about the demonic nature of the sorority? It seems that you are talking about the immaturity of young folks on a college campus. I pledged undergrad in the 80's but was crossed by a graduate chapter so I never experienced the ceremony with candles.
Secondly, when you spoke of the dues and giving, we do the same thing in the church when I give my tithes and offering. Also, about those folks that did not want to associate with you after your decision were only i your life for a season. You making a decision like that would not make me not want to be friends with you. Idolatry comes from the individual, I do not idolize ZPB or OES in which I am a member of both. At this stage in my life God is the center of my life. ZPB has prayed for me and my family as my mother lays in a hospital with the virus.
I am not sure about your experience but I have seen God all in ZPB. Thank you for your view but I have not seen any of what you have seen. I will be praying for your parents and their spiritual maturity, they should not let ZPB have any impact on your relationship. God called them first to be your parent and not sister and brother in some organization. Again thank you, I will keep you and others like you in prayer.

To answer your question.... Do not be deceived! The rituals and covenants of crossing over as a Zeta are very much demonic. I’m not sure how you crossed without the blindfold and candles or not verbally stating that above all you pledge ALL of your peace/love/happiness to Zeta, or that the spirits of the 5 pearls would forever be the guiding force to the Zeta light. It is idolatry and witchcraft and sadly most of us don’t remember the actual oaths and covenants entered into bc it is immediately taken from our memory in the midst of our excitement... but through prayer and fasting you will remember and I’m certain you’ll even be embarrassed that you agreed to say it or follow through with it!The adversary will never present himself to you as the adversary... instead he’s cunning and will always hide behind the supposedly “good” things that are taking place. Remember that he too was one of Gods angels in heaven. I believe that your sorors are praying from the depths of their hearts for the healing of your loved one. Just like you, I love every one of my LS’s and I know how we’ve prayed and worshipped together and satan is perfectly fine to let that happen bc the covenant was already entered into and until it’s denounced he holds the fate of your eternal home. I became a member of Zeta Phi Beta in a college campus and never experienced anything you spoke on. But, if anything, person, or organization you feel disturbs your spritual connection with God by all means you should disconnect with it.
Perhaps, before you entered the sorority you should've also prayed and fasted for direction from God before joining.
I've experienced the total opposite encounters since being in the sorority and have encountered sisters that are preacher's of the gospel and Christians whom let you know real quick. ....God is whom they serve and not a sorority.

I just recently denounced my membership in AKA....right at about a month ago. I was extremely active, so when I submitted my Letter of Withdrawal to my local chapter (and a few days later to the Corporate Office) it was a SHOCK, to say the least, to my former chapter members, friends, and family. In fact, my husband said my decision was “foolish”. If you don’t mind me asking.....how was your decision received?

I am wondering where did you do your research? I'm genuinely asking. I became a member of an NPHC organization earlier this year and I've been doubting my decision ever since. Since joining I have been told that certain things are an act such as sisterhood. That really bothered me since that was a reason I joined. And I also joined because I wanted to be a part of something that would help the community on a large scale and I don't see that happening the way that I was made to believe.
Also a lot of the expectations associated with Greek life have been bothering me such as all of the looking down on someone because they don't go to every event. I didn't join for an organization to come first. I joined to be involved which is not normal for me I'm an extroverted person. And there's SO much drama. I'm heavily considering what you're saying. I have now watched videos of people denouncing from Zeta, Delta, and AKA and all of it is making me consider the NPHC organization I joined and whether or not I am apart of something that is in alignment with what I believe as an individual.

Stop blaming the org for what you did. The org didn’t make you do anything and you need to take responsibility for your own actions. No one make you join the org you made that choice on your own. Own up and take responsibility for what you did. You chose to go to parties/drink and partake in Greek like functions. No one is to blame but yourself.

Ok so to each his own but as a member of Zeta for over 30 years ....I find it disheartening that you would take your experience and twist it into the over all experience for Zeta membership. First of you alledge your mother is a member so you had inside first hand knowledge. You stated you didn't even really join for the right reasons more so you felt obligated. I'm very much a Christian and Zeta has never made me call that in to question. You seem to be craving attention do some other unmet needs in your life . If your being call on by God you wouldn't thrive off recognition for it .... You don't seem like a good fit for the organization by your own admission so just move on without the dramatics Zeta was here before you and it will continue without you making positive changes in people lives through Service.

God desires for us to pursue a RELATIONSHIP with him, and he doesn't even force us to do that.
