Thank you 💙 I agree it does and sometimes it doesn’t. The experience is different from person to person and overtime I’ve learned to not compare so much. Comparison is the thief of joy-
Baaaaby Yes! You hit the nail on the head. I came from a small school apart from other schools as well. We were treated like we didn’t even exist. It was hard. I chartered a grad chapter in the area and we are small as well. I was President of that chapter and the undergraduate chapter advisor at the same time. Stressful.. I’m still feeling lost at times. It’s hard when there is no help from any other chapter as well.
Thank you so much for sharing your experience as well. I feel like people dont talk about all the different aspects. Most people only see the glitz and glam but theres so much more. Thank you for chartering a chapter! We need more 💙
This is so me. Me & my Deuce just reactivated my line & I am also the president. I will be a sophomore next semester. I’m grateful for the transparency in your video💙.
In my latter years I regret never choosing Greek life. You are the epitome of a Finer woman. Keep your head up. Continue to excel as a representation on Zeta Phi Beta.
Hey Soror💙🕊 If you’re near Fairfax County in Virginia, Omicron Theta Zeta is a great place to grow in Zeta. The Eastern Region does a great job educating Sorors on the graduate process because as you stated, it’s completely different from undergrad. Take comfort in knowing there are Zetas out here that are willing to love on you and do life with you as Your Sister💙🕊.
We used to have a saying "Quality over Quantity". It will get better soror, grad chapter will be better. Yes, it is work. You have sorors and frat from sea to sea. Happy belated Zetaversary!
Very well done and Happy Zetaversary. I been an Alpha for 30+ years and I've learned to take the good with the bad. The main thing is that I am committed to Alpha for life. So glad you are committed to Zeta for life as well. We need all of our D9 members to stay or get active as there is so much work in our communities that need our immediate attention.
Thank you for your honesty. We sing,, Its so hard to be Zeta. It truly isn't for the weak. We keep pushing and we keep encouraging too.. I hope that you find your place in a chapter that you like.. Z Phi for 38 years and counting... it's a great org to thrive in...
It's so hard to be a Zetaaaaaa. So HARD. But believe Soror you are a shining example. Im proud of your work. Please know the experiences you gained will help you as you merticulate. I'm now an AP and trust me my experiences have helped. Graduate life is much different. If your ever in Fayetteville, NC. (Fort Bragg) Please inbox me. I would love to have you be apart of our wonderful chapter. There are lots of military Sorors. Lots of Sisterhood, Service, continued scholarship and always Finer Womanhood 💙🕊
Hi Estella, thank you for your lovely words. However, I am stationed nowhere near NC, but I am thinking about rejoining a graduate chapter after my deployment.
Hearing you talk ab how it taught you communicate skills, and skills with working on things independently rlly opened my eyes because I'm in a sorority and was having some regrets about joining and everything you said is exactly what I needed to hear.
Thanks for honesty! I think all Greeks organizations are similar in some way. I think it’s a commitment to yourself to be best soror no matter situation. It definitely builds character confidence communication and leadership. You can’t control everything so you learn to be flexible.
Hello Soror! I missed your Zetaversary but I understand your thought process. I have been a Zeta for 28 years but most of that time I was inactive and non-financial because I joined the military. I reclaimed 5 years ago into a graduate chapter but still trying to find my niche due to moving. It gets better and I hope your experiences continue to help others find their way.
Thanks, soror for being transparent. I think a lot of people not just Zetas can relate to this. It does get better. I joined a small chapter but then join a Graduate chapter. I then joined another graduate chapter that better fit me and my personality, the best decision of my Zeta life. I am not active at the moment but will get back active after my son turns 4. Zeta does build character, pride, and strength, which I see in you. Continue to search for a graduate chapter that fits you. I pray one day you are active and happy with Zeta because I believe you made the right decision to join one of the best sororities on this side of heaven.
Hey Soror, I stumbled upon your video looking for old videos of my chapter lol. We had some similarities in our experiences; my line sister and I joined in Spring 2017 during our sophomore year and it was just us. During our junior year, she studied abroad and I was alone doing all the business of Zeta while being involved in other aspects of campus and working two jobs. I wished we were larger and I wish I had better bonds with other Sorors during my undergrad years, but like you, I think I came out better for the experience. Being the everything for my chapter at one point has made other Sorors not just from my chapter but other chapters as well look up to me and come to me for advice and input. It was a lot in the moment but I'm a better leader and person for it. Thank you for being so vulnerable and open, Soror!
Hey SandZ! Thank you so much for your transparency sis. Some of the things that you mention I get it 100%. Can't wait for that Grad video as I want to join the Grad chapter in my area probably in the next year or two. Thank you & love you Soror! 💙
Hi Soror! Your transparency is appreciated. Your determination shined through your toughest years with ZPhiB. You took the situation by the hand and made the absolute most of it. I hope your future steps in Zetadom will connect you with the sisterhood on a more meaningful level. Just know your footprints will last for years to come on that campus leading others to Zeta.💙Blessings!
Soror I understand how you feel. When I joined I was helping to reactivate the chapter by myself and the grad chapter at a big school. Yes it was a lot of work and I commend you for the work you have done. In the end you will see the fruits of your labor. Yes UG is fun and Grad is a business. Yes you also can't control how or where you come into the organization but you can control your walk. Keep that in mind always..💙🤍
I totally get what your saying. I went to a small school but the Zetas ran the campus. You are where u are supposed to be! Zeta is not for the weak. Sure you could have joined a larger org ans not had to work as hard but than you wouldn’t be who you are or where you are.
Dear Sydnei thank you for sharing your experience. I hope as time goes on you meet more Zetas and Sigmas as well. Maybe you can help make it better for others that come after you. I believe in the long run it will be worthwhile. Your Sigma brother Ivan D Mossop Jr. Alpha Chapter Spring 1979
Being in a grad chapter is tough, especially coming right out of undergrad. But I would encourage you to seek out other young members in the chapter, in the area, other schools, etc. On the grad level the focus is definitely more on business, networking, and involvement. But the fellowship is still there and you can always find the other stuff...
Yes the sisterhood is still there in grad chapters. Usually there aren't many young women in the grad chapters (that I have experienced). My undergrad focused on those very things you spoke of so I was used to it by the time I got to grad. It just isn't for everyone.
Sydnei Alicia do you pay to be in sororities ? I thought you do , I am asking if you join one your freshman year and you decide to dropout ( not be in it anymore) in sophomore year would you get the money back? Thank you for responding.
Thank you for being transparent. This may seem silly but I have noticed that undergrads have line jackets... So in grad chapters do they do that as well.. Can you explain about the jackets?
Happy Zetaversary Sis 💙💙🤍💙💙. It gets better. Trust me. Zeta is not for the weak hearted. I have been a Zeta for over 25 years now.

Zeta builds character. You are shining. I can definitely see the Zeta in you. Love you Soror💙
Thank you soror 💙
Being a Zeta is wonderful and all, but it's work, no matter the season/point in life. 28 years, 2/29/92. Continuing to grow and learn.
Yes ma’am I completely agree
I’m glad to hear about your experience. Remember, somethings aren’t always as we envisioned. But you’re a Finer-women and a Scholar. #BluPhi #GOMAB

Thank you! 💙

If you come out for a sororities in college do you get your money back?
I don’t understand your question.
Sydnei Alicia do you pay to be in sororities ? I thought you do , I am asking if you join one your freshman year and you decide to dropout ( not be in it anymore) in sophomore year would you get the money back? Thank you for responding.
Ohh yes you pay a membership fee to join. What you are describing is called denouncing your letters. No you do not get your money back.
Sydnei Alicia Oo wow thx you
Thank you for being transparent.

Hi soror. Love n' Doves.

I actually made them for me and my neos. 💙
