  • Here I'm cutting more hydraulic cylinder pin mounts out of 3/4" mild steel. I'm running the same settings as the last 3/4" plate video.

That is a great way to show how most of us don't actually need a 5'x10' table. Especially when running small batches of parts. I just sold my 4x4 and and plan on getting a 4x8 of some kind so I can fit full sheets on it.

Very true... I've come to appreciate the open gantry on the Crossfire. It makes it very simple to slide odd shaped or bigger pieces in from the end.

Stoopid question here but it seems to my simple mind that plasma cutting and water shouldn't mix. You'd think that water hitting the tip would cause some kind of short cirtuit?

Also, I'm interested in this table. Are you still using it and what do you think?
    Thanks

I actually don't run an air dryer. I haven't had any problems that would make me think I need one.
And no, the Langmuir does not have torch height control. Manual Z axis only. However on this video You see me piercing 3/4 inch with my torch set at 0.06" without any trouble...

thanks for the info . we picked up a koikie aronson monograph on the cheep and I'm getting way more bevel on thick cuts. I've heard that a line drier can help,. your machine looks like it runs smooth thumbs up bro. @@joshuazimmerman8631

@@ianmarkiw1529 I tend to favor a better cut over speed. I always knock a few inches per minute off the Hypertherm cut charts...
