I don't think you're delusional, but perhaps jumping the gun a bit. Markstrom has been stellar the past 2 games but thats just a 2 game sample. While I'm extremely hopeful that the Flames will make the playoffs, I'm not going to start holding my breath until they've won at least 12 more games. I was looking at the standings last week and if the flames had continued their downward trend like they had been the previous 20 games, they could have been within lottery range of #1, so I wont lie I was quietly hoping that would happen
