      Amen brother! I hate new country, but I love old country - or as my uncle always called it, "drankin' music". This is what real country music is supposed to sound like. Shades of Patsy, Loretta, et al. Love it!

      ***** 1. Thanks for being rude. 2. Margo Price (Band) is on Jack White's Third MAN Records. Recorded at Sun Studio and then picked up by Jack White. Even if he's "garbage" he knows good music when he hears it out of the mainstream. My other favorite artist at this time is another one on 3rd Man, Karen Elson.

    • @sparkymahoney4343
      @sparkymahoney4343 7 лет назад +29

      Not really. Most "new" country is garbage. The reason you like this is because it's reminiscent of old country the likes of Patsy, Loretta, Faron Young, etc. When all the singers sounded different and the songs were different. Now new country is just mass produced bubble gum pop, for all intents and purposes. This hearkens back to real country music, when it was really called "drankin music" by real "good ol' boys". There are some others out there like her, making the real thing, but it's no different from anything else. Fast food/garbage country or real food/real country.

    • @sparkymahoney4343
      @sparkymahoney4343 7 лет назад +8

      I dunno it's so much getting it as it is personal taste. Anyone into mainstream "country" today probably doesn't like old county anyway.. If they don't that's their business. I'm just glad I love real, old country and the newer stuff that hearkens back to it. You think Patsy and Loretta would like most of the corporate crap today or this? It's pretty obvious.

    Such a refreshing change from modern country music. Modern country music seemed to take a big turn for the worse in the early '90s. Not ALL of it but most of it. Top 40 country music is embarrassing. It's the same song written 40 different ways. (drivin' in my pickup, listenin' to the radio etc etc etc).
