This is such full circle fortuity because I first discovered Margo when I watched a weekend edition of CBS Morning back in 2015 or 16. She was such throw back country greatness. Something Nashville has been lacking for about 3 decades. I remember her story about selling her wedding ring and vehicle as her and her husband threw all their chips in on a gamble to make that first record of hers. I'm so happy for her. She's about as real as it gets, and that's something to be admired.
Truly and inspiration on so many levels. To sacrifice your vulnerability and your truth for others to grow from and become inspired to dig deeper within and release searching for the answers in external substances. You have everything you need within. That’s power. We are all capable of this transformation.
What a babe. Margo I remember I first saw you at Willie Nelson’s 4th of July picnic in 2016. It was love at first sight. I last saw you in 2018 at the Rustic in Dallas with Lukas Nelson and the promise of the real (you told me you liked my jacket). I moved to ATX in 2019 hoping to catch you in 2020 - but the panorama hit and I’ve been singing your songs to pass the cruel hands of time for many years…waiting to see you back on tour expressing yourself creatively on the stage for us all to witness your pure talent. Singer. Songwriter. Musician. Mother. Wife. Friend. Inspiration.
Your story is so important at this time. I’m so so so happy to see you thriving in your lane of genius. This album is an extension of your continuous evolution as a spiritual being having a human experience.
