@@i-love-comountains3850 its absolutely absurd to me that you even need rules that mandate water breaks on construction sites. I was building roofs for some time and it usually gets quite hot there. Especially when someone wants a black roof... We have no laws that mandate breaks, but everyone is allowed to take breaks whenever they want, or when they don't feel well, and when you dont take a break in the shadow and havent had a water for some time, employers literally tell you to go and have break at least each 2 hours. On hottest days, we had breaks each hour and if you didn't feel well, you could just go and sit in the shade or even go home, whenever you wanted. US is absolutely ridiculous in all possible ways.

Absolutely, same here man. I’ve been watching them since I was a teenager when they worked at Machinima doing ETC. I unfortunately started having some issues with a chronic illness in my young adulthood, contracting a severe case of Chronic Lyme Disease that sadly went unnoticed and untreated for a dangerous period of time and that I still struggle to deal with today and will likely struggle with for the rest of my life. That combined with some pretty severe chronic intractable neuropathic pain that has caused me to miss out on a lot of school during my High School years and even having to take a year off after graduating from High School before going to college, so that I could try and get my health at least somewhat back together enough so that I could attend college. Sadly, I never became well enough to endure finishing college. However, despite all of that hardship, Ricky & Elliot have always been a welcome and joyous constant in my life, however small, throughout all of the pain and suffering. Days where I would be in so much pain that I couldn’t get out of bed and had to sedate myself silly with painkillers to even get up to get myself something to drink so I didn’t become delirious from dehydration, to missing days of school and classes and feeling lonely as I would miss out on a lot of times planned with friends. Having them as a quick escape to some weird and wacky hilarity, always brought some joy to some pretty dark days in my life. Now in my late 20s, and I can’t believe how grateful I am for having these two complete strangers that I have not and likely never will meet in real life, in my life for an hour or two each week. They seemingly never fail to lighten my mood a bit, give me a good chuckle or at least help to keep me informed, if it’s just one of those sh!t days in the world and all else fails. The newspaper quotes about Titanic passengers on the ‘last life boat’, and ‘my ancestors came over on the Mayflower’, are similar to when my WW2 navy vet grandfather joking about how ‘the German Nazi’s had the largest ‘band’ in the world’. Because back then the soldiers would claim, ‘I was only in the ‘band’. 🎺
I don’t know who paired the two of you up at Machinima, but I’d love to thank them. The two of you are amazing together. Your empathy is something missing in so many news programs and it’s not b.s. Then you have the ability to make us laugh - and each other is amazing. That you share the same sense of humor, seem to have an actual friendship and not just business partners, your ability to explain some shit that’s complicated or just unknown by your non-American viewers is just such a gift. Congrats on 1000 episodes! Take my yens!
You guys are the only way I get news from outside of Japan, and as weird as that is, it is somehow sufficient. I hope for 1000 more!
Congrats fellas. Thanks for all the free content over the years.
You guys deserve every cent of these thank yous for your thousandth episode. Probably saved most of us from bad internet influences. Been watching y'all since I was in high school and now I'm a Mechanical Engineer and you guys helped every bad day within that time a little better. I hope this channel grows even more!
Thanks for 1000 episodes! I cant believe its been so long. Ive been watching you guys for the last 7 or 8 years. Heres to 1000 more!
Enjoyed you guys for years! Here is my donation for the 1000th episode
You boys are my family and probably my most essential source of news. I would pay for your content multiple times over, but thanks to you losers, I don't have to. Congrats on the "1000" episodes, here's to 1000 more! What a thumbnail :D OH yeah. Eliot should watch Season 1 of Friends.
You are a boss!
Mega CHAD 💪
Respect.
As much as this Stockton guy was very guilty of this catastrophe, and the consequent death of the other crew members, as a result of his elevated ego, but you guys need to be a little more careful about how you talk about him, only in respect for his surviving family. They are mourning his loss as well.
@@annavera-robles3623 Normally, I'd agree. But this person's terrible life ended the lives of four other people that trusted him. His surviving family will learn not to be like him.
A THOUSAND EPISODES*
A hidden gem
Love from Scotland 🏴
*other ‘ways of counting’ to 1000 may differ
Been watching you guys for the last 10 years, thank you guys for all the laughs over all this time.
Best news show anywhere. Do you guys ever post a list of what all your shirts are?
Congratulations, guys! And thank you for making this timeline a bit more bearable 🤗
Thanks for the years of content! Saving my sanity every week.
Thanks for all the hours of top tier content guys! Keep on keeping us all up to date, cheers!
1000 episodes !!! great job you guys !!! 2.00 thanks on its way ! Titanic Prices !!!
I wonder how many people’s lives were destroyed by the slogan “move fast and break things.” The number continues to go up.
You've become my favourite channel over the last 6 months! Here's to another 1000.
Happy Birthday, cheers to another 5 years of ETC show
Those liability waivers should be deemed “void” due to the gross negligence!
The best part of 2020 was rediscovering you guys. Almost a decade ago, I remember coming home after school and watching ETC. Nowadays i’m a college student doing the same thing. I’ll bring u guys everywhere: to class, to the library, the gym, and the kitchen. You guys are my rock. Thank you for all the laughs over the years.
PLS MAKE MORE MERCH! The black Internet Today shirt is one of my favorites but its 2 years old. I would love to wear more of your stuff and support you at the same time!
I lost my blacm shirt a while ago, and it's been sold out since before then 😢
@@michaelbulu4079 i personally rock the ethernet tee because I code, but the black metal tee was really cool. Hopefully they'll release more stuff or restock soon.
Love you guys! I know we will enjoy many more years with Internet Today.
🎉🎉🎉
Thank you boys for all the content over the years watching for 10? years. Can not wait to watch the next 10.
Pro tip: you actually can totally get away with breaking labor laws if you just rip off corporations at the same time. Borders still owes me my last week’s pay, a bonus I earned that the boss gave to someone else, and probably compensation for whatever full-time benefits they didn’t give me as a part time worker regularly scheduled for 40 hours a week. But hey, they went bankrupt and owed a bunch of businesses huge amounts of money so it’s not like there was anything left for those of us who worked the liquidation.
This hidden gem of a channel needs to be discovered by the masses
I wish I could give more, since you guys brought so much joy in my life over those 1000 episodes. Thanks for the amazing work!
Thanks for all the episodes. I have been watching you guys since the ETC days, when I used lived in South Africa. Guess its finally time to get a membership and to send a little extra thanks your way.
been watching for a few years now and honestly seeing you two is always a highlight of the day and I enjoy seeing you guys cover such a wide variety of topics. thanks for all the hard work and here's to another 1000!!
When you’re both doubled over laughing are my favourite parts of IT just one upping each other with the jokes. And damn you sure need them to stay sane with some of the truly horrific shit you have to expose yourselves to in order to tell full details and not glossing over or exploiting tragic news. Basically, I just love you guys.
Well said 👏
Thanks! Guys and congratulations on 1000 episodes you guys are so helpful for my mental health and you really help me get through my third shift job. I wish I could donate more but I don't make much money and drugs are expensive too so my apologies.
Thanks guys lets go for 2k!
Been watching you guys for a long time, appreciate all the work you guys put in. Congrats on 1000!
Thanks for being a news source that can make me laugh, and cry at the same time for the past 10+ years!
I know this doesn’t mean much but you guys have seriously kept me sane through my teen emo faze ( I started watching as a freshman in high school and now I’m 23) this show has been my favorite part of my day for a decade so from the bottom of my heart THANK U!
Ayeee me too!!!! Exactly the same story lmao
Thanks! 1000 greasy pennies for the thousandth episode 🤙🏿
Thanks for everything guys! Here's to the next thousand if the news doesn't kill us all first.
Thanks! I've been watching you guys since way back in the days of TUGS, Shibby and all the way back through Etc to Machinma! You guys are my favorite channel by far! 1 request: Phil or Shibby cameos!
🫡 looking forward to you guys peaking at about the 6500th episode. Thanks for hundreds of hours of entertainment
Thank you for all the wonderful videos! The news may not allways be the good, but you somehow manage to make it engaging and funny every week! Keep it up!
Congrats on the 5 years and 1000th episode! Been watching since you guys took over ETC. You're the only channel I make the time to watch every video from, and where I get most of my news from these days. Keep it up guys! Hope you hit that 250k subs milestone soon!
To 1k more guys. You really keep us up to date on the stuff that happens around the world. I will love to help more but here it is
Sorry to be another commenter making you feel old, been watching since 7th grade, just got my B.S. degree last week. Keep up the great work!
It's hard to believe that I started watching you two in 2014. Where does time go? Thank you both for being part of my life and weekly routine. Here's hoping for another 1000 episodes!
thee hundo!!
These two have been here for me for the entirety of middle school, high school, college, my 21st, and now graduate school. Thank you guys from the bottom of my heart for the consistency, laughs, and insights you’ve given me through all the ups and downs of my life. I wish everyone good health and good company
Well, to be fair guys, Stockton Rush, didn’t want to go to prison for killing a bunch of people either. That’s why he made damn sure he was on that submarine every single time it went down.
Thanks! Congratulations on your 1000th episode.
Congrats on 1000! I wish y'all nothing but continued success, thanks for making the news not only bearable, but entertaining!
here's 20 of my canadian cartoon money to say thank you and congratulations!! been with you boys since like 2014, and i still stop what im doing if applicable when i see a new upload. now THAT'S staying power!!

I started watching you guys before I started high school in the machinina days and haven’t missed an episode since! Keep it up boys
Thanks! For the years of entertainment. Also, your guys' channel's bday is the same day as my tribes Treaty days celebration.
This show truly is a hidden gem. Thanks for all the amazing content you’ve guys have posted throughout the years, and for the foreseeable future.
