    I have heard you talk a little about Titan before, but only in passing. Your passion for it, and my new understanding of what Titan really is, has sold me on it. I'm going to find that segment as an episode, and get it to Elon Musk and make sure he watches it somehow! He's gotta have some pure science love in him, and the challenge!
    Thank you for all you do. You present all these beautiful topics so clearly, and from a heart of such sincere curiosity, I can be drawn along. You are prolific with deep understanding, and I have learned more from you than probably all the other astronomy and physics channels I watch. And I can fall asleep to a kind spirit, wonderful person, teaching me some shot I have always wanted to know. Thank you!

    More than Three Bubbles (on a flat surface)
    A network of 120° angles creates a pattern of hexagons. Bees build honeycombs in the shape of hexagons for the same reason that bubbles build hexagons-it's the way to make the most compartments with the least amount of “stuff” forming the walls. Might be related to what's going on in Jupiter somehow

    • @markpayne7397
      @markpayne7397 3 года назад

      Wow, I love these here types of random nuggets of knowledge. While no disrespect to a bees labor force i guess I just kinda figured it's just because that's how they do it (if I'm being completely honest with myself) but I have took note of how a few shapes with no vertices....
      [of course with no visual aiding apparatus. I know I know, keeping in mind it's probable that I first pondered upon this around the same time I completed my Colenal Sanders mask of bubbles ~3 years ago. Everyone's a critic] to make such a specific shape. Every time~.
      I suppose the hexagon is visually a figure that seems to really have it's things together. Like just by plain looks I'd say they look like they'd make their half-twin that was sold to the neighbor Earth for all of their gold and jewelry.....
      I've got to go, I've got an emergency vacation.

    Why have they never strapped a camera onto a spacecraft leaving earth? Looking back at earth. You'd think that would be pretty easy and would only have to transmit for a few short days to gives us an awesome perspective on the planet we live on.

    • @TheEvilmooseofdoom
      @TheEvilmooseofdoom 4 года назад +4

      They have. There are some famous photo's taken of the earth from various places in the solar system too including one from the surface of mars. Transmitting for a few short days is easier said than done. The distances grow fast and the power of the transmitter needs to be either very large or you need giant dishes on the ground. Check out the DSN dishes for an idea.

    My apologies if others have already pointed this out, concerning the hexagon on Saturn: I’m baffled that you cannot see the hexagon within a hexagon at the opposing pole. It’s subtle - you describe the small one as just a vortex - but it absolutely a hexagonal eye, and if you look outwards further you can (well… I can) also see a gigantic hexagon the same size as the more obvious one.
    It’s a shift in cream to a slightly warmer cream, but it’s crystal clear to my eyes. I’m an artist, so maybe my ability to see this is stronger than most others?
    There’s just no mystery as to why there isn’t another hexagon, because there is - it’s just optically discreet to us in these pics, but it’s there.

    I have to say Aton is one of the most real fair and balanced people I enjoy on you tube. He does need to back off his commercials a bit because he is already making a boatload of money off of his shows. The worst is trying to sink into a you tube channel show and getting hit with 20 or commercials this one is not so bad since it's a 4 hour combo. Again though over all great Job Aton. Thank you and you are welcome to do a show about me since the universe evolves around me. It could be called "one of a zillion". :-p

    Just a note on Titan and Light. A candle is roughly 10lux while direct sunlight (on Earth) is 100,000lux. Humans can spot a single lit candle from 12 miles away and can read by a single candle's light. Standing on Pluto's day side is slightly brighter than being outside under a full moon on Earth. So being above the atmosphere of Titan would be much much brighter and we could see fine, like an overcast day. Under the atmosphere would be darker, but still able to see.

    When you look at the inhospitable conditions on most planets 🪐 in our solar system the earth is a rare thing,perhaps one of a kind,we just don’t seem to have any idea how many earths exist in the entire universe.

      None of them are within a life times travel. If it happens once it can happen again just very far away.

      @@creator4413 Well OK then. :-/
      You do realize that very specific number I gave there was just a stab in the non proverbial dark, right?
      I would bet that one single celled organisms exist though, it's probably not all that long a time frame to multiples. I should look that up, maybe I'll be surprised. I know even now there are large strings of single celled organisms that exists connected to others, and I expect just developing useful signaling in that type of organism is first step in the evolution to multicellular organisms.

    Some people theorize it's a giant cube offset standing on a corner creating the hexagon shape... a 3D cube. Notice how the center is darker... where the top corner would be poking upwards more then the sides that are going down into atmosphere...

    1. Could you create a colony that floats on the liquid metal hydrogen?
    1a. What would it look like?
    1b. What materials would you have to use to
    1c. Dissipate 10,000 celcius to room temp or lower like 68 Fahrenheit which is best for electronics? Think a liquid cooled core but the humans inside are the core. If you design something from this post, make sure you reference being too school for cool.
    2. Imagine creating a wind farm in saturns hexagon. But by the time we can easily do that, we can likely manipulate gravity, right? Prove me wrong.
    3.remember the movie twister, looks like you need a bunch of the little tornado probes that we can send to our most active planets in the solar system.
    4. 33:13s-33:53s. The table doesnt fit the narrative. Water plus olivine equals methane, but methane and water vapor are in the lowest quantity.
    4a. Seems to me like there are organisms using water or methane and expelling hydrogen dioxide.
    4b. Where there is one organism, there is likely to be a fauna.

    Could the core of Saturn be a torus, as it rotates, like a snake twisting, it draws materials from the south pole then ejects through the north pole. The hexagon shape is then propagated by ripples in the torus shaped core?????
