This surely has to be the best Hale & Pace sketch of all time. I have always remembered it from my teenage years, I was so excited when I saw it posted. I love it when they throw his ass out at the end and he wants to start punching on...classic stuff! The Brits really are the funniest people in the world.
Without a doubt the funniest skit Hale and Pace made. At least for me. I was in tears of laughter. Remember it back when it first came out and still hilarious today!
Probably the funniest sketch ever. I reckon he actually had to be pissed filming this. Superb comedy acting. So glad it's on RUclips, LMAO when I watched it all those years ago and did the same today. Comedy gold
I am so glad to see Hale and Pace - why have they been missed out of the 'History of Comedy.' They were cutting edge comedy in the eighties before all the rest. Lets see some repeats on the telly please - something to watch for a change.
Whenever im feeling low and stuck in my own head and trapped i watch this and it literally cures me 😮. I laugh so much i can't breathe . God bless hale and pace. Deep belly laughter is genuine medicine for us x
Drunk level 3 (hello mum) is my fav part of this sketch. I would swear hands down that he is sozzled. Superb acting if this was done without a single drop 😂
If one has to pick just one Gareth Hale character from the ten years they made the show it must be Quentin Traveler, he's the perfect travel programme presenter. Especially as all of the programmes begin as those pretentious shows directed to "better than average" tourists but degrade to regular drunken ramblings almost immediately. There should've been a special show for the character...
I remember watching this the first time it was shown on TV - I thought it was the funniest thing I’d ever seen. It’s still as funny today as it was then.
That was one of the funniest sketches ive ever seen ive watched that clip hundreds of times and makes me laugh every time the attention to detail was amazing his face cracks me up 😂😂
This never gets old, and when I need a laugh, I'll watch this.... British comedy at its best... and before extreme wokeism crept in... I love this one and the wine tasting one with Baron Philippe Le Mercier... comedy gold.
I've got tears in my eyes. Absolute gold
Me too they don't make them like that anymore pmsl
It’s not that bad, skipper.
The French wine tasting sketch is funny too.
Gareth Hale deserves an Oscar for this performance hahhaa :D

Without a doubt the funniest skit Hale and Pace made. At least for me. I was in tears of laughter. Remember it back when it first came out and still hilarious today!
If Gareth Hale isn't really pissed here, that's some of the best drunk acting I've ever seen
Probably the funniest sketch ever.

Comedy gold
Gareth Hale was pissed in the sketch - not acting.
It slayed me when he tries to play the castanets! The generous Spanish hospitality.
Quality ha ha 🤣 🤣
Along with the Man Who Cant Take Anything Seriously this also makes it as one of the best H&P Sketches

That old man in the back scares me.

Magaluf, Lloret de mar. The beginning.
Starts from impersonating Jeremy Clarkson , ends with Benidorm.
