Sunday is my birthday and if i didnt already have plans and the Boston Bruins 100th anniversary game id watch the whole stream. Hyped as hell to watch you get into battlefront 1 classic, its better in a lot of ways and not as good in others. Some maps are WAY better, bespin is an option and every planet has 2 maps so it is a bit smaller as a whole. But i think youll really enjoy your time with it. Plus... YOU CAN GO PRONE. A bizzare disign choice for battlefront 2 i will never understand. Maybe consider giving the Rouge Squadron games a shot. Rebel Strike in particular is an absolute blast of a game
Really loving the battlefront stuff! if you're ever looking to do something like this again, I'd recommend the custom GC mod. Lets you use up to thirty custom maps on a single game of Galactic Conquest
Time for my favorite of the Galactic Conquests, solely for the reason that it makes the most sense as the starting position of the Rebellion to have barely any planets compared to the Empire.
Yep, it's like the Rebel Sim sub-mod for Awakening of the Rebellion. It's the most canonical way to do the standard strategy game campaign conceit of Tim Curry looking to the camera and saying 'we're pushed to the brink but now You, Commander, can bring it all back.'
Yep beat me to it lmao! I remember the days being a kid and being like where is my ship lol? Only to catch a suicidal ally crush straight into the side wall of the CIS hanger. My favorite space battle tactic was camping the enemy fighters and chucking a time bomb on their fighter as they took off
The best part is the more guys are on board the more you need to land. I remember having to land 3 4 or even 5 times to make sure every NpC got out cause they'd only get out one at a time on every landing.

it's been about 15 years since i last played this game on PS2. was surprised to see this series pop up on your channel, also made me remember about this wonderful game. bought it on steam, having so much fun rn. thanks you haha
I knew this one was gonna be good because of the challenge of directing the rebels whose A.I. is oddly addicted to overkill and having multiple soldiers shooting dead troopers, leaving them wide open to get hit with a grenade or stun lock killed. Thanks again for doing a video in one of my childhood favorite video games. If there’s ever a way to do multiplayer Galactic Conquest I’d be more than interested.
I cannot explain how fundamental this game was to me. Had it on the PS2 and played it non stop. The audio lines will forever be carved into my brain. Really happy to see you play this and in such a fun way, loved the series. Me and my brother still quote it almost every day. Thrak Farelle (rebel AI name) will forever be remembered
One of the mechanics I am not sure you know about is the drain on your garrison for not having a command post lead. If you are down command post compared to the enemy you garrison take a passive drain to its numbers and if the disparity is greater the drain is harsher. Anyways thank you for this great video and I hope you learn something new!
I always liked playing as the rebels because their weapons felt better. Unit feel goes a big way, and the design in first person makes you feel more like a solider fighting for your life
What i am Missing ist cool maneuvers of flying through the "trench" of the Star destroyers (the Sides) and in General hugging the geometry of the frigates or Capital ships to avoid enemy fire.
So, i watched all of the videos in this series and redownloaded swb2 and sat down thinking i could probably do this same challenge. I gotta tell ya… that ain’t the case. The very impressive way you play is how i played in my mind as a child whether or not i actually could and i just want to thank you for sharing these because theres nothing greater than what started at 18:00 to 19:34. I mean THAT was awesome and that sequence was it felt like to play this as a kid and even now as an adult. Thanks for satisfying the nostalgia itch
About 8 years ago i played SW-BF2 non stop and i managed to beat Galactic conquest without dying and i did it with all of the base classes. Every time i just used one class only. This was on Ps2
It's been an absolute pleasure to watch this four-part video series! I certainly have played my fair share of Galactic Conquests, I think my favorite one was actually this one, with the Rebellion. In my later years of playing this, I too tried and succeeded from time to time to win without dying but only in instant action. Lots of fun... But sadly it's been so long since I've actually played the game, I have it on disc but for some reason, there is a problem when trying to start it on modern machines.. Gotta continue trying to figure out a way around this issue! If everything else fails, I suppose I can get it through Steam... One thing that would be real cool is if you could do something with the Hunt game mode. Just an idea, and I don't have anything else to narrow it down so... yeah. But that's that. Enjoyed watching this video a lot and had a few good laughs, too! There is something about the in-game chatter that the Rebels do, those lines they throw around.. I guess it's just nostalgic!
I only discovered this series today, but i binged it in the perfect time to see the 4th part uploaded. YIPPIEEE haha Idk if it is of any use, but for the big campaign... the ship parts in space battles have crit spots you can hit to deal more damage. For example the life support system with the 3 Screens. Place a bomb or grenade in between the screens and you do more damage. Same for the engine cooling tanks. The place where the green tubes connect to the middle part are a weakspot as far as i remember. Maybe you don't want or need those cheesing strats. But let me know, if you want to know more please. You really made smth special with those Galactic Conquests and i am so glad i found you just today. Looking forward to see more of your content. Keep it up man, this is great. Big THANK YOU.
Mass Effect?? Mass Effect mentioned?? Play it play it play it play it You seem really cool, I've loved these deathless GALACTIC CONQUEST vids, I'd LOVE to see you do something with the Mass Effect series, whatever that may be!
That defense at Yavin was literally a recreation of Call of Duty Finest Hour's level "Tractor Factory". Funny considering the two games were contemporous.
38:44 Man, you hit it right on the head. It's moments like these that I live for. The easiest one is to play Empire on Endor. No matter how hard you fight, no matter how aggressive you are, it always comes down to a 1v30 and it's so fun to pick apart the rebels until you win or die. Such a fantastic game, it's too bad the updated release for new gen consoles was such a bust.
I would like to see more challenge runs too, if the viewership is there and if ur having fun! Like permadeath galactic conquest sniper class only, etc.
30:06 The answer is simple: It's Emperor Palpatine's home planet. He is sacrificing the war in a gigantic ego play. Wait, didn't he do that, like, the entire time during the clone wars? Hmmm, maybe evil dictator sith people need to refresh their strategies lol ;)
My favorite strategy as Rebels on Coruscant. Grab a hero (Luke Skywalker in this case), and bum rush the empires first spawn point. Just do a sweeping side to side motion on the stair case and toss the lightsaber into the room. I've gotten many kills this way and have had games where the empire doesn't take a single command post because they're just being killed too quickly
This was an awesome series, I'm glad it put you on my radar. I don't know if you feel compelled to continue this series and try this with BF1 but if you do I can't wait to see those videos. BF1 is brutally difficult in some ways compared to BF2 especially about getting lazered randomly if the AI thinks you're doing too good.
I have watched all 4 videos of this series now, so I'll give a sub at this point, I hope your next ventures will be approached with a similar level of enjoyment. Oh, and I know how they say you need to strike while the iron is hot and all, but be careful of burn out, this series has come out nearly twice as fast as your previous videos and that can catch up real quick if you don't have a plan for what comes next
I found you today because of this series. I put on your playlist, put together my christmas tree (i work dont judge me for being late) and it was a blast being a mix of festive and nostalgic. Thank you sir. ❤️
After watching all 4 of these videos I realised that I was an idiot as a kid playing this game as I never knew 90% of the strats the game had from what I've watched here 😂
I never realized that the rebel infantry was voiced by Steve Blum until this vid crazy how often I spot his voice in stuff especially from my childhood
All these playthroughs have been very nostalgic for me for back when I'd often play the game as well as splitscreen. Not sure entirely why I did so, but I recall there were some space battles where I just spent the time in order to repair the shields after they were destroyed.
I played all 4 galáctic conquest after seing this videos and i find out some things about the CPU Empire: pilots stay ALWAYS on the hangar, is not less than 10 every time you enter there Rebelds: they choose space fight in every chance they have, even over taking planets Republic: they LOVE to invade Naboo, i had the CPU try to invade it more than 20 times in a single playthough Drouds: Nothing too weird to be notisable
I don’t understand how your other videos were on my recommended, but thank god it was. I ended up redownloading it on my Xbox and playing both 1 and 2.
I remember a long time ago I used to watch this guy named Towli something doing guides on maps and playing BF1/BF2. And then I'd play matches against my brother. This game was amazing and the most used disk in our PS2. Also the first game where I learned allot of out of bound tricks and other small things the game rewards you for experimenting with. It's up there with other greats like Bad Company 2 in terms of class based shooters.
I'm very happy to found your RUclips Channel over Star Wars Battlefront 2 Galactic Conquest. I love Star Wars Battlefront 2 Galactic Conquest much more than the original Star Wars Battlefront 2 over how many planets and space battles.
I was watching videos on certain stuff that's been going on that has made me remember how little I know, and how hard it is to continue caring enough to make progress. Then, out of desperation, I clicked on this video and am going to refuse to think about it for a while.
Yeah, it plays better when ou start at Hoth, as Endor is at the opposite end of the galactic map, and the whole conquest feels like one glorious crusade. The reverse works pretty fine as well (Imperials starting at Endor).
I think you should change the rules a bit. Rather than a death being a reset of the whole campaign, a single death should force you to forfiet the match and let the enemy win. With the death causing a full reset, it's impossible for you to lose, as in the CPU opponent will never win a campaign or put you in a bad spot. You just keep reseting until you eventually win. So the final campaign is you just steam rolling the enemy. But if a death means the enemy wins the battle, theres a chance you'll get pushed back, losing territory and needing to play defensively. So maybe you could do another series of all 4 galsctic conquests with this new ruleset?
First of all, I love Battlefront 2 and that you’re making content with it. Second, I absolutely love that SWTOR music in the background. Way to circumvent the copyright.
Man I was just watching the 3 others I just finished the CIS one a minute ago, I checked your channel, and boom here comes the rebel conquest :D Perfect timing
I once had a conquest where I had secured all the planets but the enemy had one fleet left, but when it was their turn to move they didn't reach a planet immediately, they were still in open space so then when it went back to my turn we then won right away, didn't have to destroy that last fleet. I look forward to your campaign run, and revisiting the OG Battlefront. My favourite map was Bespin platforms, such chaos in those walkways. I would lure enemy heroes towards me and then have them trigger mines which would blow them over the edge of the platform, it was effective. I liked how each planet had 2 maps to beat, and I always preferred the Dune Sea map over Mos Eisley because the Sand People were a neutral force but they could be leveraged against the enemy if you held the Dune Sea, Sandcrawler and Lars Homestead CPs. I would always go for having the Jedi hero bonus on my playthroughs, I would follow them closely and gun down all who were shooting our way, the sword and shield technique.
Thanks so much for this mini series, I've watched all of them and it's been fantastic. Actually sad that it's over 😅 I agree the final stand situations are incredible. There's no better rush than being a one man army! This game and Jedi Outcast are both in my top 5 games of all time. If you haven't played Jedi Outcast before, you must! It's an incredible game and during its hey day was even better in online multiplayer. I spent most of my childhood and teenage days on that game. May the force be with you 👍
Loving this series! It’s been so interesting see the shift of gameplay to being very conservative and methodical from the typical maniac running and gunning and grenades down the hallway gameplay Bf2 usually encourages
My experience with this game is a bit different in that I never played it when it came out, I was either WAY too young, or I was still in my mother. (Don't know the exact date that the game came out.) I got and played this game back in about 2013 or 2014, and I had a blast playing it with my cousin every time. I still look back at it fondly, and it's definitely one of my favorite Star Wars games out there. Also, I never get tired of your last stands, lol.

I always liked playing as the rebels because their weapons felt better. Unit feel goes a big way, and the design in first person makes you feel more like a solider fighting for your life
I know this was the last of the “series” but man I’m loving this nostalgia train… please keep it going!
I will never get tired of this :)
What i am Missing ist cool maneuvers of flying through the "trench" of the Star destroyers (the Sides) and in General hugging the geometry of the frigates or Capital ships to avoid enemy fire.
30:05 The infamous corner is drawing them in from across the galaxy. X'D
Im so glad youtube recomended me the star wars videos. Going through your back catalog has been a real treat. Top notch creator.
48:01 Man, imagine if he just hit a bit higher, and the run ended right there lmao
Loving the series! Hoping you keep it going either with modded conquests or new rulesets!
Hey Predz do you know why 69 is afraid of 70?
Because they once had a fight and 71
I loved Rebels as a kid but man do they love double-tapping corpses
Did a Rebel call a Stormtrooper “Plastic Boy”!?
Yes. Yes he did😂
the rebels in this game talk alot of shit in comparison to the other factions
i’m taking you down plastic boy
Catching these gems before it's even been a minute of it being out is always awesome. These vids are great!
Here's a tip on tatooine you can use the sniper to take out the enemy on turrets
I love your videos so much! Interactive in the discord too! Saved me a few hours of more pain there (if ykyk) keep up the quality ❤
Holy shit dude that's a lot of money 😭
I do not deserve this, but thank you ❤️❤️
It's been an absolute pleasure to watch this four-part video series!
YIPPIEEE haha
Idk if it is of any use, but for the big campaign... the ship parts in space battles have crit spots you can hit to deal more damage.
Man i adore the old Republic ost's you put in your videos.
Same here
Dagobah's Luke's X-wing's swamp is a decent cover while crouching, the water absorbes the blasters, so you have a greatly reduced hitbox
Mass Effect?? Mass Effect mentioned?? Play it play it play it play it
You seem really cool, I've loved these deathless GALACTIC CONQUEST vids, I'd LOVE to see you do something with the Mass Effect series, whatever that may be!
my favorite series on youtube right now. Please keep doing more Star Wars battlefront videos when you beat the series finale
That defense at Yavin was literally a recreation of Call of Duty Finest Hour's level "Tractor Factory". Funny considering the two games were contemporous.
All 4 of these were super engaging to watch. I know too much about this game, even about a decade after I stopped mainlining it.
33:04 Gawd Daym, I forgot how caked up the Rebel Marksmen was in the original Battlefronts. Makes me miss the prone feature from the first game.
45:25 "errrm what's this" lol
Battlefront 1 is my favourite out of the 2. Feels way more chaotic, difficult and has some of the best maps.
I bought this game beckuse of your videos and im loving it. So thanks :)
After watching all 4 of these videos I realised that I was an idiot as a kid playing this game as I never knew 90% of the strats the game had from what I've watched here 😂
31:49 *throws grenade* few seconds later, jawa scream 😂
Keep in mind that it contributes to the traitor award because it's a teammate killed
I would love to see other shorter challenges, like a hunt on Hoth on the rebel side against the wampa without dying or something like that
This series was a heck of a lot of fun to watch and great intro to your content. Excited to see what comes next.
This game reminds me of when I’d play this with my older brother for hours thank you for reminding me :)
This is by far the best Galactic Conquest only took you 2 tries my tip is get rebel smuggler ASAP support is needed early on
34:00-39:00 is worthy of a Sabaton song
God, Coruscant is such a great map...ah the memories! GG my man, really enjoyed this series!
I played all 4 galáctic conquest after seing this videos and i find out some things about the CPU
Empire: pilots stay ALWAYS on the hangar, is not less than 10 every time you enter there
Rebelds: they choose space fight in every chance they have, even over taking planets
Republic: they LOVE to invade Naboo, i had the CPU try to invade it more than 20 times in a single playthough
Drouds: Nothing too weird to be notisable
12:45 😂 aye s/o to the medics
6:26 : ''It's not a huge deal tho.'' I laugh way too hard XD
Please do BF1 as well, personally I thought their maps are better, though the droids are super OP
I really appreciate these videos man this was the first game I played as a kid and now im in college enjoying it still
This series helped me through several sleepless nights on my vacation. It’s a shame it’s already over.
Absolutely love the old republic soundtrack you've used in this video.
Love this, can we see you do this with one of the extended factions mods
So maybe you could do another series of all 4 galsctic conquests with this new ruleset?
loved this man great work !
Seeing BF2 in first person is so odd. Great videos all around.
Edit: Christ alive that final stand on Yavin was great.
Loved this series. Hope you do something like this again!
Perhaps with the first battlefront game? 2004 i think🤔😅👌
First of all, I love Battlefront 2 and that you’re making content with it. Second, I absolutely love that SWTOR music in the background. Way to circumvent the copyright.
Man I was just watching the 3 others
I just finished the CIS one a minute ago, I checked your channel, and boom here comes the rebel conquest :D
Perfect timing
Actually sad that it's over 😅
I agree the final stand situations are incredible.
I appreciate you doing all 4 campaigns and look forward to Battlefront (2003) run and your KoToR I & II runs.
It was this video that i learned Tank Dempsey is a rebel fighting the empire
Great video Predz as always! I bet you'd enjoy a couple of the old Jedi Knight series games, honestly you don't need to play all of them though XD Jedi Outcast and Jedi Academy are probably the ones I'd recommend
my whole life played the original Xbox version of the game, recently started playing the Steam version, with that and this videos I discovered various dialogues the troops may say during battle, like that snipers YEEHAA!
