Let me give you some tips as a mount and blade veteran which played both games for years and years 1:Don’t donate good troops my friend you can win a battle with 300 good guys against like 700 800 enemies, numbers matter but not if your enemy is way way up tier than you. Keep upgrading your troops and make a good balance of horseman and archers don’t worry like 70 80 good infantry can hold the line while your archers rain arrows on enemy and you lead your cavalry to disturb and destroy their archers then crash to their infantry while they are busy with your infantry. 2: Donate troops only to your own castles and mostly give them good archers and some infantry to hold the walls. 3: always destroys the battering ram and towers so they are forced to attack you from ladders and you can easily throw fire bombs or stones on them (one fire bomb can easily kill 7 to 10 guys and injure 15 16 guys) and then you can shoot arrows while they are getting up the ladders. They will route surely 4: form caravans so you start to get good money workshops are good to but not as profitable as caravans then if you get a city or a castle thats gonna make you more and more money after you build and upgrade it. 5: when sieging a castle or city build catapults and exactly when it’s get finished you pause the game and archive it do it with all slots and then pause the game and get them back in their place they will decimate their catapult and walls without getting destroyed. 6: if you don’t have time to build siege engines don’t worry you mostly don’t need it gather every troop you have as soon as battle starts and take all of them to one side with ladders then make them follow you up the ladders if you get one side of the castle you can easily wipe out all of them

@@naturalbornpatriot6369 nah bannerlord had so many qol and system improvements. I have 1000s of hours in warband and will never go back. bannerlord is great
My character is Diocletian "Warrior King" of the Eastern Calraedic Empire. And this is his story (Used Diplomacy, Serve as a Soldier, Adventurer and My Little Warband for the major Mods along with smaller qol ones) In the city of Amprela Diocletian was the son of a Minor Nobleman and at a Young age he's known for his leadership skills, He was sent to help in the local Smithy for experience and to improve the standing of his family as his father did other charitable works for the populace. Once he reached the age of 18 (Where my game starts) He joined the Northern Imperial Army and became a feared Legionnaire among Lucon's ranks, He retired from service at 31 Years Old returning to his home city of Amprela. There he aided local merchants and peasents in escorting them through dangerous alley-ways for a price as his skills with the Spatha was well used. He gained a reputation for being Charitable, Honourable and Brave as he slowly cobbled enough money to hire a group of Caravan Guards with the hopes of trying out the art of Trading and the life of a Merchant. After visiting several cities from the Southern Empire and the Aserai Sultanate he barely made a dime and due to this he was forced to retire the caravan and recuperate what little he can save from it. Knowing he had the skills of a fighter he hired several men to be part of his Mercenary Company and began doing tasks for the locals in his home city taking out Bandit Hideouts, Brigand warbands and Escorting merchants. Eventually his small company grew to a powerful force of 50 Veteran soldiers and soon he began taking contracts from the Northern Empire to fight in their wars once more. He lead on the top of a Steppe Warhorse bought from the city of Ortogard a city owned by the Khuzait Khaganate. He was most well known for his devastating lightning raids as he moved deep into enemy territory raiding farming villages, mining towns and pasturelands alike taking their loot. He was also known for ambushing Nobles leading their small Retinues usually in bridges and mountain passes before then defeating, capturing and ransoming these Nobles for a hefty price. His skill in battle is nigh, unparalleled and soon he got the invitation to become a Vassal of Lucon which he immediately accepted. Finally his most notorious achievement yet is his campaign against the Khuzait Khaganate first in the Battle of Syratos Castle where he besieged the castle luring in a large Khuzait army. Whilst it crossed the narrow bridge Diocletian attacked it and destroyed it using his Cavalry to constantly pin down the Horsearchers the Khuzaits utilize. After many more battles around Syratos and Makeb Diocletian sought fit to reform his army to better suit the steppe. A unit of troops named the "Cantibrion Bucellaris" a light Horse-Archer unit known for their menacing masks and the way they fought. They are able to out-manuever and pin down enemy Horse-Archers usually sent in to charge the enemy Horse-Archers with their Lances. His infantry was transformed into a version of the old Imperial infantrymen the Hastatii, Princeps, and Triarii all three are equipped with a Short Spear and Short Mace or Gladius. They wore heavy armor and use long Heater Shields made to hold their ground in a shield wall. His Cataphracts are slightly reformed using Steppe horses instead of the generic Canterion Chargers. His campaign is widely successful capturing Syratos, Makeb and Chakkland fiefs he kept for himself much to the dismay of Lucon and his officials. As such Diocletian is constantly under-funded and under-strengthed in his future campaigns to curb his influence and to prevent his growing power. After several instances of this and due to his own personal ambitions Diocletian declares himself Emperor of the Eastern Calraedic Empire and as such Lucon declared war on his rebelling subject. Syratos Castle was prepared for this heavily garrisoned to prevent an enemy Imperial Army from crossing into Makeb the capital of his new realm. He made up retinues commanded by his Lieutenants and raised a small army of 500 troops mostly made up of his Professional force numbering in the Three hundreds. Several battles were fought mostly trying to dislodge the enemy from besieging Syratos. The castle was taken and retaken multiple times quickly racking up casualties for the enemy. For a period of time the Northern Empire lacking any reserve forces didn't send out any more to Diocletian's revolt as Sturgia and Vlandia were also pressing against their borders. Diocletian took the opportunity and captured Amprela, Myzea and Tyal along with their surrounding castles. Then out of spite and to seek vengeance the Khuzaits launched their war but by that point the Northern Empire sued for peace. Diocletian fought the Khuzaits at a pass near Makeb to limit the mobility of their Horse Archers. Eventually taking Ortogard and it's surrounding castles. (To cut for time) He conquered several more fiefs including some from the Southern empire which during the peace negotiations Diocletian managed to Marry Ira the heir to the Southern Empire securing a Marrige alliance but not before being able to take several Southern owned cities in the Steppe like Akklat at it's surrounding cities. Diocletian managed to fight off multiple coalitions made against him and conquered more territory. And in it's current state The Eastern Calraedic Empire owned most of the Northern Empire and the Principality of Sturgia along with all of the Steppe and The Southern Empire's Northern holdings after renewed hostilities arose. Now Diocletian "Conqueror of the East" plans to invade the Golden lands of the Aserai and the Kingdom of Vlandia who had began to amass a powerful realm in the west. His story is still ongoing as of now.

One of the best ways to deal with army upkeep issues and to make lots of money is to be a merchant as well. Buy stuff write down your expenses and sell it off for profits as you travel around. Not only is this free money but your own money is not just sitting there usless until you need to spend it. You also do not have to worry about feeding your army as you always have foodstuffs in stock and with food variety you gain a morale boost on top of that. Not only do the benefits stack up considerably but it also allows you to upkeep high lvl armies with no real worries.
Hi,a tip from 2K hours guy, mostly Single Player. Always recruit T2+ over T1 In manual battles recruits lack shields and are usually equipped with melee 1hander which makes them vulnerable to cavalry and ranged units. Therefore you'll experience higher than usual deaths and will need to retrain the man, which costs wise would be more expensive than recruiting a higher tier. Also, recruits T4 horsemen if you get the chance, from there onwards they won't require a war horse, making them SOOOO much cheaper than recruiting a lower tier and buying a war horse for upgrade!
Only about 1/3 through the video, but you usually don’t want to stop to hit someone while on the horse. It gives the enemy archers time to shoot you and others to hit you. If you miss keep going, turn around, and gain back speed to get another big hit and hopefully more of they’re in a line.
Gaining athletics while onmounted is a valid point your party is faster when you are mounted, that is more important in the grand scheme of things in the later game when there are massive armies going around so you can escape if needed to.

This was fucking hilarious. First time watching any of your videos, loved your gameplay and ill be yoinking some of your mods for my next playthrough! Liked and subbed ❤
I’m so glad you’re playing banner, lord, it’s one of my favorite games. What mods are you using? I’ve never seen so much money from a tournament in this game.
On the topic of capturing nobles, I always play as Battania. If they do well, you know it is because of you. So we are fighting the Valandians as usual. I own a castle at this time, and defeat a 1,200 warband party with my 330 mostly elite troops. I simulated it, as I’m really bad with castle defense. So we won. Capture a bunch of nobles. Do a few smaller party raids to get some more nobles. By the end of it, we had 22 nobles captured. Fun little fact. The only way to make warband/armies is with a noble. Capture the nobles? That is one less army to fight! So yea, we won lol
Just got back into this game and am really havign a great time. Using the Serve as Soldier mod, along with some other less "important" mod (like a smithing mod), and man i really love it. currently my character is in the service of Manteos, after betraying Caladog...good income so far, and great for training skills. Bowmanship already at 135 and athletics at 151. working on polearm next (planning to go cavalry with bow and arrow aswell as a long spear and shield... really gotta train up riding tho asap...)
Ikr? I had anticipated this game for a long long time, and when it released, I was very dissatisfied with it. It still isn’t all that great. But, I will give it to them, they made leading a cavalry force a seriously fun experience.
This game had so much potential to be a masterpiece, but they completely botched it. We don't even have proper deplomacy and when we become a ruler we don't even get a crown.
"Miss, Miss, Critical Miss" was so funny to me. xD My character married Zoana without realizing who her father was... Talk about awkward family dinners. Lol.
I like these videos, but i think the next challenge you should do is a 1 death one. Like you died a lot, hopefully you learned from this playthrough. I think it would be more fun if you do a story and if your MC dies then you make a new one that uses a son, sibling, friend or second in command to kind of restart. Anyways great video
Same here. I think it’s a new update. When I saw how much money he was making per tournament I almost flipped my desk over. He was making my yearly wage in seconds 😂😂

I've made 4 Rimworld videos and 3 of them performed so poorly that they are now moved to members only :D
“Like the game dev lay offs lately, saves money up front but massively costly down the line”
Well said!! And also this video was incredible and I loved every minute of it!!!
Man, you are so entertaining and the choice of music always amazes me :D
No way you just uploaded this, I watch your rimworld vids a lot especially the guides and wanted to check out bannerlord after playing warband for a while. Fuckin awesome
didnt even know i wanted this from this channel, super pumped to watch this
If kenshi and kingdom come had a kid
Not even close

The village shiver with fear when you coke to recruit. You’ve lost all of their men😭
I LAUGHED SO HARD AT HOW GOOD THIS WAS!!! Omg, I’m definitely subscribing! Hahah, omg the humor and gameplay was way beyond my expectations 😂😂😂
More Mount and Blade Bannerlord would be epic! This was my all time fav vid of yours, you always seem to out do yourself every video!!!
Worthy Content
THIS...I NEED MORE OF THIS!
Ngl, the vibes were imaculate in this video. I love this shit.
Loved the video man, solid and funny story the whole way through. Hope to see more in the future!
Is the game worth buying in 2024?
Yes
Yes
Very much so, I'm not really a gamer, but this game is so fun and consuming.
absolutely, im on console and its my first game of this kind but its so addictive ive been playing nonstop it does have a steep learning curve though
@@enviousingpswhat should i do to start so i dont get overwhelmed with stuff
Great video! I never knew what this game was entirely about, but after watching this, I'm convinced to buy it.
This is the first video of yours I've seen, you're a great story teller! Love it.
I'm noticing the dismemberment mod, and I think I see some others, such as being able to bet a whole lot more denars in the tournament. Would you be willing to share the mod list?
Omg the name of your kingdom was just the cherry on top of a very enjoyable short film
I found you originally from your rimworld content when i was into rimworld. Then i found you again from PZ, now, after I've established an addiction to Bannerlord, I find you once more.
You went from folk hero to wading through gore! Dark turns man...
Man I used to play warband with my friend in like, 1st or 2nd grade. Surprised to see the series alive, but damn cool it is.
simp
This is the first time watching your videos and I find them very funny as well while also having great pacing. Keep up the great work 🫡
Loved the entire video it was the best mound and blade bandelord video I've ever seen in my life
Quick tip there should be more piles of rocks all around the top of the walls where the archers are and u can easily win with any amount of solders attacking u i watched some dude destory a armor outnumbering him by 1000-1500 by using the rocks
Kingdom Underfire vibes. The people who created this game must have atleast played it, amazing game 100%
i remember a browser game like this called Feudalism. Is this made by the same creator if so that would be amazing to see they're still around.
I almost never watch an hour long youtube video all the way through. Nice job!
Ah, yes, Hugh Janus of the Massive P. Very relatable, save for that last part.
You know how some people compare Factorio to crack? Well Bannerlord became crack for me, and you're entirely responsible for it you monster.
Cracks great, why complain 😅
bro reached the peak at the age of 27, wtf ive been doing in my life
“But considering I’m a dad, pulling out isn’t really in my vocabulary” BRRRRROOOOO
Earned a sub, I only planned on watching for a couple mins, I can’t put it down
what mods do you use?
It looks like it’s vanilla, maybe if he used one then it would be more units but I think he didn’t use no mods as it looks.
look in description
@@lwpysrcatleast a dismemberment mod
Fighting against raiders "put the men into square" Sharp.
I love the m&b warband music brings back memories great video!!!
this guys gametaste is litterly mine, thats why i love this channel so much
This was super entertaining. Thank you!
Charge in at the start of the siege, so the catapults dont focus you or rather can't focus you. A fairly good tactic to avoid losses early on
Yeah for sure, on ladder sieges I tend to bumrush forward to get the first ladder up so the infantry charges in either way even if it’s not my army
Bro this was awesome thank you for this masterpiece
😊
This was fucking hilarious. First time watching any of your videos, loved your gameplay and ill be yoinking some of your mods for my next playthrough!
Liked and subbed ❤
Hearing that song You used for the intro Always slams Fairy Tale Origins to the forefront of my mind
I’m so glad you’re playing banner, lord, it’s one of my favorite games. What mods are you using? I’ve never seen so much money from a tournament in this game.
Same. Also 170 troops cap at the beginning
I'm also curious about this, yeah
Enjoyable watch! Love the edited long bannerlord rp!!!!
As a Floridian, this is beautiful to watch
Damn im new to the genre and I might try hard mode now though i only watched a small portion of the video your vid is pretty entertaining new sub man
Just got back into this game and am really havign a great time.
This was an awesome video, make more Bannerlord! I bought the game because of this video!
What mods are you using? I love the high bets for tournaments cuz base game is so unrewarding to win them
The martha stewart bit was funny asf man that got a good chuckle out of me
I wonder if the Warband video is gonna be about this Guy's Descendent. That would be super cool
Such a fun game... to bad it's basically dead in the water thanks to the developers.
Great to play every once in awhile though!
"Miss, Miss, Critical Miss" was so funny to me. xD
My character married Zoana without realizing who her father was... Talk about awkward family dinners. Lol.
"meet hugh, of house Janus"
I'm locked in after that
That was sick bro.
Hyped to see the dismemberment mod finally working. I know it had a problem with causing the game to lag
Yo seeing you play one of my favorite games is awesome!!! More M&B!!!
Man i swear you and Lucon had a Moby Dick and Captain Ahab kind of relationship in this LOL.
When bannerlord came out I installed it and said I’d get on when I finish Warband.
Still haven’t tried it but it looks great
I'm curious as to why you didn't take anyone but the recruits early on? There were t2-3 troops available but you manually clicked around them
I like these videos, but i think the next challenge you should do is a 1 death one. Like you died a lot, hopefully you learned from this playthrough. I think it would be more fun if you do a story and if your MC dies then you make a new one that uses a son, sibling, friend or second in command to kind of restart. Anyways great video
Wow I need to check this game out now, great content!
I thought my bannerlord character was a good guy until i realised he was throwing his arena fights to boost his odds gambling on himself 😂
Loved it ! Awesome
getting turned into pat tillman is a wild bar
The dude supported from under the table? O.o Truely a humble start
Buy a shield. Even if you don't use it, it helps protect your back from arrows.
How are you betting so much in the arena? I’ve recently just started playing the game and my odds are 150 denars to a 600 return?
Same here. I think it’s a new update. When I saw how much money he was making per tournament I almost flipped my desk over. He was making my yearly wage in seconds 😂😂
How did you get so many soldiers before even reaching clan tier 2? I only have 50 in clan tier 1…
your mother and I are so proud of you.
The legend of Hugh Janus lives on!
God damn this video was so good I hope you do another one on mount and blade 2 sometime
