  • I picked up a like new (60 hours) 2018 Kubota L6060 tractor with Cab. I had the dealer install a third function kit for the loader and unfortunately the wiring for the light bar was damaged while the third function was being installed. In this video I repair the wiring and add a deutsch connector so that I can easily remove the front brush guard without damaging the wiring next time. I also talk through the unboxed accessories I will be adding to the L6060 to use it on our wooded homestead property. I will be adding, a grill guard, tie rod guards, tiedown points, hardline guard on the loader, a grapple, wheel spacers, wheel ballast, and a Ferri boom flail mower.

I would move the front LED bar to the top of the cab. Where it is now, the light will be blocked a lot during loader use as well as creating an obstacle working on the front of the tractor.

I have not found it to be in the way. I have led lights at the top.of the cab and may add more but this bar seems good where it is.

It was not put on in the factory. It was put on at the dealer after I purchased it.

@@hardwaylearnt Previous reply is correct. The factory Kubota third function kit includes that mount for the button. However, many dealers choose not to use that and surface mount the button on the console near the controls. If you need an example, I can send you the picture of mine, I also have a Grand L6060. Enjoy, this is a fabulous workhorse of a tractor.
I'm curious how your loader hydraulic hoses are connected. Mine is newer but my hydraulic hoses connect at the same location as the third function. I would not suggest relocating your third function hose connections. I've never seen an issue of catching anything with them.
