    something interesting- in the video, you mention that the R4 tires cannot be swapped from L6060 to MX, with the MX’s front tires being quite a but larger in diameter than the L60. However, if you look at the R1 tires, they are identical for both machines. 14.9-26 for the rear, and 9.5-16 for the front. So my question is, does the gearing have to change on the L60 to go to R1’s / or possibly the MX? I had never heard if this before but it’s interesting. I just checked and turf tires are the same for both machines also. It appears just the R4’s are different from MX to L6060. Weird.

    Hey Neil, great videos, quick question i've watched your videos on the Grand L6060 and HST plus transmission video's. Ive sat in both of these machines and both seem to be great machines in 60hp class. So my question is understanding that there is alot going on, How do all the transmission settings work when running a PTO implement such as rotary cutter or PTO chipper or Snowblower etc. Stall guard and advance throttle and etc. Also i'm new to hydra-static world, and in gear world 90% of tasks i would be running in Mid range gearing from 1st+2nd for loader and slow PTO and 3rd+4th for travel and mowing. Would i hurt the L6060 in midrange doing these same tasks? I truly dont want to hurt the hydraulics on a new tractor.

    • @MessicksEquip
      @MessicksEquip  3 года назад +1

    Neil, have you ever set up a L6060 with the front rims of the MX on it, but wrapped in a 31.5X13.00-16.5 E/10PR tire? I’ve read that this set up produces a with-in 1% lead in the front to rear 4wd gear ration, compared to a 2.9% lag, the stock wheels, with factory R4 tires, produces.

Regarding capabilities, I‘m still not sure were the main differences are. Can you give a specific example of a task(s) you would perform with the MX6000 but would hesitate or not recommend doing with an L6060. On the other hand, in what area(s) is the L6060 more capable.
