Kira basically have to face freedom + justice, both equipped with Akatsuki's armor and 3 full-auto meteor unit. Not to mention the pilots have bs mind reading ability. Any other pilot would drop dead before mighty pack arrive.
Setsuna with 00 quanta or Mika with Barbatos Lupus rex, would both of them survive or even prevail against above scenario since both of them have physical weapons and great piloting skill?
@@gregorysaugustine5236 Setsuna with quanta I can see, but Mika? He'd be curb stomped to the ground by Cal re A alone and that's not even mentioning the Ziggurat bombardment. His gundam might have nanolaminate armor, but the Cal re A can eventually melt through that and the missile bombardment renders that useless.
@@gregorysaugustine5236 they wouldn’t even last the first barrage from the Ziggurats 😂😂😂. Mika has never been up against beam weaponry or a barrage of missiles that could practically cover the sky. Mika’s strength is close combat and he’d definitely lose. They “mind read” your moves. Mika has also never been against dragoons at the scale of Cal Rei. In fact he’s never been up against dragoons or funnels. Setsuna has a chance not because he’s a great pilot. But because the 00 Raiser is OP. But he ultimately lose because beam weaponry won’t work on either. And if he goes in for close combat he’ll be barraged by over 500 attacks at every angle.

This was the breakdown I needed. When I first watched the movie, it was insane how many fucking shots/missiles were launched during this fight. Insane how many Kira managed to evade.
It’s not because Kira Yamato’s the Ultimate Coordinator alone; nor the Gundams he pilots: It is his resolve. Kira, being caught in the crossfires of war based on genetic superiority and the ideology on human evolution that came after; coupled with the trauma of experiencing loss of lives of those around him- may it be death caused by his own hands and/or death at the mercy of Kira’s adversaries; overall: he vowed never to kill anyone nor to let the lives of those around him slip away… Despite that the Strike has reached was pushed to its limits, the Freedom & Rising Freedom were nearly if not totally beaten by adversaries whose war runs or is imbibed within their ideology, and the Strike Freedom (Original & Type II) was exploited out by the Accords/Black Knight Squad of the Kingdom of Foundation- that it is more of mobility over defense/offense- it is Kira’s resolve and skills that made him & his Gundams win over their adversaries. Although Mighty Strike Freedom’s weapons & abilities mirror that of other Gundam Series (Unicorn, 00, etc.)- the sheer resolve of Kira, plus Lacus Clyne’s will to fight, defend, and love; were the ultimate factor as to why they prevail…
100%. Kira also created the “Proud Defender”!! The most powerful backpack in the CE verse!! He basically created the “Mighty Strike Freedom”. People can say he’s broken and always has a superior mobile suit but he created that weapon!!!! He’s brought his own toys to the playground. 😉
But Kira chose to do that on purpose. He could have returned with Z'Gok to the Millennium and drop off Lacus. Then go together with Athrun to fight. Kira chose to go alone.
@@TheBigExclusive there's a high chance they're going to obliterate the ORB forces instead then they'll taunt Kira and everyone using the deaths of ORB soldiers
@@TheBigExclusive He had to immediately re-join the battle and couldn't escort Lacus back because orb army was at a huge disadvantage and they didn't know when Requiem would fire back
infinite energy but strained by the temp. that's the only reason why in SEED at the end of battle, Freedom was grayed out not because it badly damaged but because it use all it's energy to survive Requiem blast plus if Freedom or Strike Freedom was truly has infinite energy, why implement energy bar at all? in GSD, Strike Freedom barely sweat and seems all infinite was because at that point in time, no one could match againts Kira. it's so cool to see those detail being explained!
No you're wrong that's not the enrgy bar that's always warning in the movie that's the heating system the VPS armor was overheating due to continuous hits
Lacus has probably built the SF with a safety system to not overheat the nuclear jammer so the VPS armor deactivate in the movie you even notice a smoke sound meaning the armor was already overheated that the system shut it down automatically
@@ShinRaven-ez7tz the original show since 2004 doesn't even state anything about it's energy, they said it basicly is infinite and that's it. (i don't follow the forum or any community at the time to know better, i mean i was watching from CD player.) Freedom was pretty much has infinite energy and i remember once that it got grayed out during battle was that last scene in the requiem blast and it kept me curious all this time because in GSD the battle with shin, he clearly used so much energy to escape and fight with Shin, if the Temp was anything at all, Freedom should have been grayed out in the battle but it never did nor any scene related to the overheating issue at all. idk about remastered if they already fix it (i got things to do, minimal time to watch any show.) and in GSF movie, i know it's all about temp and such but to connect the dots to the original show, it make much more sense that the temp would be an issue with supposed infinite machine. i think those kind of detail that was added later in the movie was supposed to plug plot hole in the original show. but all in all, it doesn't explain why Strike after getting bombed by Aegis still has it's color (nothing being said in the show.) and i am open to know more since this show is so old, i need an update anyway.
Its crazy how the Accords talk and brag about how superior they are but have to do so much just to try and beat Kira. I know its war, but when they already had Kira pilot data, better tech, mind reading, telekinetic co-op attacks, prep time, and so much other stuff it really shows how crazy they were because you have to be that CRAZY to be this DELUSIONAL and constantly brag about superiority and still lose they almost had as much plot armor as Kira.
@@mysetlist2118 lets not forget about the fact that the haters out there were calling Kira a cheater and only won when he got proud defender forgetting the fact that it was Kira who designed the proud defender. @@azurial2016 every story has it's plot armor just like Athrun and Shin's. My only point is the take the haters out there will make just to discredit Kira's arc in the movie run
The entire movie was Kira getting reverse-jumped because every one of his opps knew theyd be cooked in a 1v1. All their tech was made to hard counter Kira's fighting style and armaments, and the minute he stood on the same level he 2v-all'd them.
@@Hate24 Not true. It’s just because Kira was the “perfect coordinator” that kinda exaggerated his abilities, passing down like a legend among enemies they grown fear of him, overshadowing the best pilot ever Athrun. If the Foundation targeted Athrun rather than Kira, they would have won the battle. Athrun was the turning point and the super ace. He saved Kira single-handedly multiple times since CE 71. I mean Athrun should really be named a saint. How many times does he have to save Kira again?
@@BenzAMGOne Clearly. Christ, i love both pilots and how they performed in the movie equally; the entire thing that that dude's forgetting is Kira and Athrun are friends, so a comparison is moot. And my comment is based on fact. Either blud is uneducated or ignorant, considering there's a sidestory short novel taking place before the movie, where foundation arranged for the base strike freedon to be stolen. They _literally_ reverse engineered the voiture lumiere system from it and gave themselves armaments like the needle cannons to wear down his phase shift fast and the femtech barrier that nullifies all but his railguns. They chose Asura, their knockoff Athrun, to be his second biggest opp because he was a close-range crashout. His braindead one or the other take makes me 😴
@@Hate24 Kira is all rounder, long range fighter and great engineer too, while Athrun is more specialist in ms and human hand to hand combat. Both of them is great but Accord target Kira more because he was 1 Vs Many specialist which are more suitable for War. And I believe is manly due to his relationship with lacus
4:35 - I believe the Director said that the Phase Shift Armor had reached its impact limits, the armor over heated, and suits coolant could not keep up with cooling down the phase shift armor. Kira was taking too many hits in too short a time. The Phase Shift armor overheated and shut down.
Even back when I was a kid in college, I was so impressed with how quickly Kira could analyze and come up with solutions to problems even when the first series SEED had just begun to air. In SEED Destiny, he had significantly improved but I always felt he was holding back considerably. This would be natural considering during the early parts of the series, the Freedom and Archangel had returned for the first time since they went into hiding after SEED. Furthermore, Kira and the Archangel were trying to stop a senseless war, hoping to defend both the Minerva as well as disarming the Earth Forces, and later, the Orb Forces. In SEED Freedom, Kira's spectacular performance in the end after regaining his confidence in his friends and the blooming love between him and Lacus showed why he was the Ultimate Coordinator. It isn't something as obvious like a unique ability like Orphee's or the Black Knights' or Lacus' mental abilities, but a combination of his tenacity and ability to process a huge amount of information and determine the best course of action in microseconds. A seemingly ordinary individual, and yet performing far beyond the sum total of his parts.
Athrun and Shinn didn’t even come close to experiencing what Kira did! And to think Athrun fanboys were hyping him up for facing Shura in a 1vs1 in SF only to find out Athrun returned the Freedom to Kira at 50% power!!! 😂😂😂 Then Kira proceeded to face a fleet of Zaft ships and mobile suits, face Shura and Orphee in a 2vs1. (Note both mobile suits are a 95% counter to SFs armament.), Gets his mind read, and then gets bombarded by more ships!!! Kira surviving that is either pure skill or the ultimate plot armor. And keep in mind Orphee and Shura’s synergy is perfection because they can read Kira’s mind and each others. And this all happened in a closed off space! Once again Kira surviving that either pure skill or the ultimate plot armor. Note* Athrun depleted 50% of SFs energy in open space, in a 1vs1. I will say this. When it comes to 1on1 duels Athrun is the GOAT. But clearly there are a lot of things Kira and maybe Shinn are better at.
deep inside they do know. Its just that the internet told them to hate Kira so they downplay his feats and use the next best thing AKA Athrun to say Kira is bad
In all honesty though it doesn’t make sense that the SFII is in only 50% power left. Athrun barely used the dragoons compared to Kira who likes to beam spam and shoot everyone. And I also remember that the SFII avoided fighting anyone until they found where Lacus was located.
Ngl, its what some people dont like about him, he is too good. To the point where they have to give the enemies powerful unrealistic buffs like mind reading just to have an excuse to make him lose a mobile suit fight. If you compare it to original UC, he doesnt really fully convey the assumed message correctly. He takes the whole "fighting for peace" thing too literally. Ususally, the anti war message of gundam is conveyed through showing the guilt or pain the main character has when dealing with the realities of war and death. Kira on the other hand, does deal with it for the first half of Seed, but afterwards, he just acts all hypocrital and beam spam disables all the enemy mobile suits while simultaneously contradicting himself at certain points.
This is the answer to those who said Kira was nothing special. Against Korel-A, literally a Strike Freedom 4.0, with a DRAGOON 4.0 system, 3 Ziggurat battle ships, a close combat specialized machine, Shiva, the 3 pilots of those machines can read mind, anticipate whatever Kira was going to do, Kira, in an old modeled machine, more than half of it's energy depleted, most of it's weapons were useless, still able to stall until back up arrive, that is awesome. I think only Dark Gundam would be able to defeat those 2.
Turn A with its technology-destroying nanobots, Unicorn with its time reversing magic, 00 Qan[T] with its teleportation and god tier offense: Welcome to the super robot club, Mighty Strike Freedom
@@MaidenlessScrub Turn A, I'm not sure, those 3 pilots can read minds, and their machines are super fast and agile, so I think they would be able to destroy the Turn A before it can fully deploy the nanomachines. Unicorn, I think there's a difference between time travel and time reverse, I don't know, if possible, can you give me the episode when that happened, please. 00 Quan[T], again, those 3 can read minds and fast, so 00 Quan[T] alone may not be able to.
@@binhanh296 You can watch the Narrative gundam movie, it explains that Unicorn units can emit energy waves that reverse the time of other machines, making their reactor disassembled like they were never made in the first place. This power is also demonstrated after Unicorn blocked the satellite laser than flew towards an enemy platoon and neutralised them with just a wave of its hand. Couple that with Unicorn's ridiculous base stats and you have something akin to a god. I kinda agree with Turn A as its pilot isn't the best and it's base stat outside of moonlight butterfly isn't something to write home about. But Qan[T]'s raw power and GN field is too much for anything in SEED. Innovators' power can also read mind somewhat by force communication, so Setsuna can counter them to an extent. GN bits are also a lot more advanced than Dragoons.
@@MaidenlessScrub I see, the Unicorn effect made the other machines core disasemble itself, so it looks like it reverse time, but it actually did not. Ability like that can work. Thanks. About the 00 series, I'm not sure, may be because of the animation that made me feel like the 00 in transarm is still slower than the Strike Freedom, and I also take in the fact that they can only use Transarm in a short while, while the Strike Freedom moves at high speed and high agility all the time. It's hard to make comparision if I don't have the specific max velocity they can achieve, I'll look into it later.
After rewatching the movie a few more times and with english dub, I've come to see Accords as a bunch of cheaters that could never beat the compass pilots 1v1 without their missile spam drones and their mind reading. They always rely on ganging up on them coz they know they can't beat them 1v1 on a head on confrontation.
Don't forget the fact that they had technological advantage (until proud defender was introduced) and that their suits are one generation up against SF, Destiny, and IJ T2. They also had Femto which made 80% of SF's weaponry useless (especially the dragoons). Not only that, but they also had to steal SF's battle data via the SF Hijacking incident which enabled them to know all of Kira's battle datas and inputs
Thank you for providing these details ✨ Some people may say Kira is not good or plot armor but I think Kira was written in realistic way, imagine you are just a normal citizen forced into war without any military training but forceful conditions, but suddenly people around you expect so much from you, how big the responsibility that 😭 not all people can endure that
He is better here than in GSD for sure. He is not portrayed as perfect and he isn't perfect on his first try. He feels more human and is more likeable.
The Super DRAGOONs on both Strike Freedoms (original and Type II) are of the second generation variety, meaning that normal pilots (those without spatial awareness, like the La Flaga family [Mu, Rau, Rey]) can use them effectively, though having spatial awareness improves their performance.
Thanks for this analysis, enjoyed it. I respect them both, Kira and Athrun and I believe they respect and treat each other as equals as well; to top it off they are like brothers. It is also now a huge relief to not have to fuss about Shinn in the series since he has changed for the better and is no longer annoying compared to his Destiny days.

I mean the other thing too when Athrun was fighting Shura with the Strike Freedom is he wasn't actually trying to win. He was trying to stall Shura and keep him from realizing what was going on in Artemis. It's why when the fight ends Shura goes to chase for a second then goes back to get Aura and Ingrid. The point of that fight wasn't to defeat Shura, it was to lure him out and keep him out of Artemis. For all they knew he had a way to remotely open the lightwave barriers, so even if they took out the entire fortress' staff, which they did, he could have a way to get back in there and I'm pretty sure Meyrin and Cagalli aren't beating the Shiv.A in melee combat inside a closed space.
He wasn't trying to win cause he cant win or rather in order to win would take too much effort and destroy the plan. There is also a problem that he will end up putting Sf in much more strain before switching with kira all in order to defeat a single enemy commander.
I just realized this, but Kira magically gets a 2nd railgun rifle during the final battle. When Athrun in Strike Freedom Type 2 fought Shura, Strike only had one railgun rifle behind its back. Then Strike Freedom magically gets a 2nd rifle during the fight against Shura and Orphee. The new rifle is connected to the left railgun. But Kira never went back to the Millennium for a Resupply or new rifle. So where did the other rifle come from?
He had 3 extra handheld railguns by the time he entered the final battle. One on the back skirt and one on each skirt railgun. I rewatched the scene and you are right, Athrun only had the one on the back skirt equipped. Assuming it was not due to animations error, I guess the only remaining possibility is that the Cavalier and Z'Gok were holding it for him before he flew off for the final battle. I cannot verify this as his beam rifles were blocking his skirt railguns as he flew off. So yeah, it can be considered an ass pull 😂
I will not say that Mighty strke freedom and lacuse with kira is a massive force as for the upper limit both are needed to 100% max it out. Do keep in mind who provides kira with the machines and support loving him. This was a core element of seeds story value the whole time. As for the suit it self 1 high mantaince due to high end systems all freedoms are ship based needing work for hours post battle 10a up to this one. 2nd mighty strike freedom is the counter to 00 just less super robo and more what if tech. 3rd he is a wmd needing keys like a nukeclear warhead in a sub to fire. So at best he can work at 75% max till allowed by situation + command= story point and narrative. End point they made a film out of 2 hits endless waltz and OO trail blazers. Made for different times and fandoms so to compare your foundation and older is happing. The idea and changes for this new wave only happen for they did XYZ frist. So do not compare the sorce material it came from respect it an be thankful new things came from it.
Honestly I think Kira could win a 1 vs 1 if none of the his opponents had mind reading despite having an older model as his Battle IQ in this is off the charts although I doubt SF would be unscathed though. 2 vs 1 would probably be almost the same as in the movie but I'm sure Cal-re and Shi-va would damaged due to them not being able to predict Kira's movements without the mind reading.
Personally, I disagree. Kira would win easily in a 1vs 1 against Orphy. He would use more effort against Shura but would win in a 1 vs 1. In a 2 vs 1, without mental abilities, a lot of those grunts shooting around Kira would not be around for fear of shooting their allies. Besides, the coordination between Orphy and Shura would be weaker. Accords have zero real life battle experience and zero real life experience as a whole. Without telepathy, Kira would have to deal with less grunt suits and it would be easier to defeat both Orphy and Shura. If Orphy and Shura didn't have telepathy, Kira might not need to be saved by Athrun or Lacus. However, we don't know if the Accords would have seed mode if they didn't have telepathy. Telepathy seems more useful than seed mode in battle. However, if they have neither telepathy nor seed mode, then the Accords would be weakened. A pilot without seed mode would have difficulty defeating one with seed mode if Izaac and Athrun's rivalry is of any indication.
in gundam exa manga leos alloy meets every main protagonist and fights domon amuro 00quanta setsuna and even loran fights with turn x gundam but , when he heads to c.e he trains with astray blue frame to learn about seed factor but when asked who has the highest and the best he says kira and when leos alloy goes to visit kira he was terrified watching stfreedom at this points he had power of god gundam wing gundam 00 series but he fears out and observes from far away and gets the data for leos aeos phase which is further his main and exa phase was developed from that
In all honesty that just sounds like fanboying from the author of that manga bro. Don’t get me wrong I like both Seed and 00, but me personally I don’t think Seed grunts are as good as 00 grunts. In Seed Destiny there was a part of the story where Durandal was talking about just how much creating a mobile suit will cost, yet everyone in Seed has a freaking mobile suit. Whoever was managing the funds for the military in Seed probably made whichever faction become super broke. In 00 however only elites are granted to pilot mobile suits, and if you want to have a better mobile suit you better be part of the elite of elites group. That’s why in 00 grunts are harder to defeat than the grunts in Seed, not because the gundam pilots from 00 are lesser in skill but because the grunts are better pilots than the grunts in Seed. And in case you remind me that the four pilots of 00 were defeated when all the factions of the world joined forces and analyzed their suit’s capabilities and planned a strategy of how to defeat them, well in Seed there was only one person who took the time to study Kira/Freedom’s capabilities and planned how to defeat him. Shinn. And Kira was defeated by one guy. Don’t even try to make excuses. A loss is a loss. And when Kira lost the Freedom and had to pilot the Strike Rouge coz he’s out of options for mobile suit he got the Strike Rouge destroyed by grunts given that those grunts do have more advanced MS than the Rouge. In other words Kira needs a very strong MS to compete with other pilots. If you put Kira in other universes with grounded facts of what he is capable of and not, and not just fanboying you’ll realize that he’s mostly gonna get his ass kicked by these elite grunts. Kira is like a high level player with a high level character who plays against a bunch of noobs in Seed, if you put him in 00 were the pilots are all elite players who will study you and come up with a plan to kick your ass he’s going to get his ass handed over to him every single time he plays the game.
@@PaVer-IIyou do realize that the only thing that makes 00 suit truly strong are their GN Drive are literally plot engine while in Seed they still run on battery and normal nuclear reactor that’s why in season 2 they have a literal god like machine like the 00. Second thing is that in Seed mobile suit are still relatively new technology only existing for like 4 years at that point while in 00 the MS development has existed for quite a while so you could say that pilots in Seed at the point are still quite immature. With regards to Kira defeat by Shinn, sure it is a defeat but the odd are still stacked against him very much, Kira had to defend for the Archangel escape and didn't have much information on the Impulse. You can also see that the Freedom at that point is already a 2 years old suit and is actually inferior in spec to even the Saviour with the only giving grace that it has more energy, Kira while having the inferior suit (and Shinn with Kira combat data throughout the first Valentine war studied) still able to destroy the Impulse parts multiple times but it has parts constantly being send out from the Minerva to support it (the only reason why he won). Now moving on to the Strike Rouge. At the point the Strike is a very old suit inferior to even the 105 Dagger and you can still see Kira defeating several Zaku Warrior before the Rouge got destroyed. So in essence it’s pretty unfair to say that Kira doesn’t do well with old suits while he does quite an admirable job.
@@harryhuynh707 yes I do agree with you with Kira still doing an admirable job brother. My problem is that whoever was the mangaka of the above mentioned manga is glazing over Kira way too much acting as if Kira is a god among men when he’s pretty much at the same level as the other aces of other gundam stories. Sure when Kira is in SF or SFII or even just the freedom he shoots down a lot of enemies. That’s what was the MS was designed for, it’s for one against many. It’s basically a mob clearer in video game terms. Once Kira is fighting against elites or aces he struggles to just like everyone else. Manga author saying that Kira with Strike Freedom is better than Setsuna with 00qanT?! Dude that part already immediately proves that he’s fanboying on Kira bro. Best example that says Kira’s skills aren’t really so far from other gundam pilot aces is that Kira with SFII was struggling against accords. Accords! Compared to innovades from 00 these guys are babies. I highly doubt that Shura or Orphee are on the same level as Ribbons Almark. No freaking way. Sure Setsuna struggled against his fight against Ribbons and the innovades, but technically he still won at the end. Before you say “Oh but 00 raiser is a very high tech MS that’s why Setsuna won.” It is a very high tech MS, but Reborns gundam is more advanced than the 00 Raiser and Setsuna still managed to win. This is Setsuna on 00 Raiser not Setsuna on 00 qanT who is I’m pretty sure is a better pilot since then and has fully realized innovator. So yeah I do have a problem with that mangaka for overglazing on Kira acting as if he’s head and shoulders above other gundam pilots.
thanks for the amazing video. some scenes in the movie made me wonder if writers or director knew the lore they built up in seed and destiny series. maybe i'm missing something but in the series only flaga family and their clones could use dragon system. kira having his dna mixed with flaga dna has the newtype flash ability so he can use the dragoon system too(even in the battle every flaga clone and kira show newtype flash when dragoons are used). now... in the movie athrun uses dragoon system without newtype flash and at one scene shin with newtype flash senses kira is in danger... how ?! is there a novel about these sudden lore-breaker powers or its just an illogical fan service?!
I think Strike Freedom's beam shield was overheating because of all the beam saber hits that Athrun was blocking against Shura in their fight. Strike Freedom was never pushed that hard before in melee combat and the beam shield emitter was probably was overheating.
@@TheBigExclusive to be honest I don’t think so. Sure like they said SFII is a bad match for Shive.A close quarters-wise but he was still on the defensive the whole freaking time and didn’t really fight back at all, and that’s Kira in Seed mode.
Yes, i believe so, there was an instance in the movie where if not for Shivea slicing the railgun, at that second, Cal-Rea would have been hit. People tend to forget the only reason Shivea looked advantageous against Kira was because of femto armor and during the first fight against Rising Freedom, they took him via surprise attack using 3 black knights, 75 mobike suits with anti Phase shift missles damaging his rifle and left wing rendering him unable to fly
@@BenzAMGOne I don’t think so brother. Shive.A as shown in the movie can still dodge them dragoons bro. And it’s not like Shura is always reading minds 24/7. @@PaVer-II well, it can be debated but my point is even if shivea could evade dragoons doesn't mean he could do evading and blocking and attacking all at the same time. To be honest, i have no idea as to why he was dodging the funnels when he was against Athrun given his suit is immune to beam. They also stole Kira's battle data via the SF incident so he knows how to counterattack him and add on his mind abilities to the mix.
I nickname him Kira The Immortal and White Phoenix. 'Cause he refuses to just lay down and die. PS. Dragoons and Ziggurats wouldn't even be able to get a lock on D.

@@Leonkennedy5925 but no n jammer canceler the suit is nerf just see specs of x20a strike freedom and x26a typ II but kira is better on freedom only sa pilot is upgraded bro actually the type 2 loses power it loses its armor on the fight
No, the SF Type II isn't 'nerfed' in any way. It doesn't need an N-Jammer Canceller because it utilises a nuclear fusion reactor - which is unimpeded by the effects of N Jammers, which only affect nuclear fission.
Good vid, but I respectfully disagree. Why? Because I thought that he relies to much on ranged combat after he got the first strike freedom. If he lost his ability for close quarters combat if he cant overwhelm them on the first go. This is consistent with all his battles against top aces. Another reason is that the foundation figured out this pattern and weakness and thats why he keeps struggling with it. It was the same when he lost in rising freedom. Overwhelm with constant close quarters combat not allowing him to set up a barrage, and use a even more massive counter barrage to overload him. Even with the strike spec 2, he still struggled with it. Though to be fair, yes without his amazing reflexes he would have been dead long ago. I think Kira's weakness is also shown in Shura's acknowledgement of Athrun's skills. Even with a damaged gundam, he was still able to hold his own in a close quarters battle much longer and better than Kira did. And Shura verbally says so. This however doesnt mean Kira's not the ultimate coordinator. He is, but that he's still human and therefore as the vid says as well, has his limits. He falls into patterns that work in the past and no longer is able to adapt on the fly like he did in the OG strike gundam
That's the issue with Kira. He doesn't use battle tactics in a fight, he goes in and beam spams, Sure he has reflex but that's about it. Its the same that happened in seed and seed destiny. Like if you look at the two fights he has against the Accords he beam spams them knowing it doesn't work against them. He only uses the handheld rail gun when his beam rifle was destroyed. Even going range against Orphee he doesn't pull out the beam saber until the missile spam hits. Similar to how he fought Stella in Destiny. He couldn't land a hit against her until Shinn used a beam saber to actually do something. Tbh I don't know people are saying Ultimate coordinator = Kira being the ultimate pilot that's not what it stands for. It just means Kira got the genes his dad wanted him to have, it doesn't mean he can jump into a Mobile suit and just knows how to pilot it since having good genes does not mean it can allow you to drive a car, you still have to learn that. Not to mention Mobile suits were made when Kira was already in high school. You can't pre program something in him that didn't exist back then.
@@Nataku302that's where you were wrong, without kira work on strike earth alliance mobile suit will be far from being combat ready, he being ultimate coordinator is that he has the superior body and mind, he can reprogram entire mobile suit on the fly, do complex calculation in battle, strong body that can handle extreme environments (earth re-entry on strike) without even training his body. But in the end he is lucky that he is raised by his adopted parents with love, if he's raised by military the war would have been very bloody. Proud Defender also being worked by him, although not alone
@@riyakanujoshua5334 Again the fight proves that he has no battle tactics. Kira only relies on a good suit without that he's dead. Even the fight shows it. Kira came prepared and still used a weapon that does nothing against femto armor. Look at Shinn and Athrun they are using rail guns right away in the fight against the accords knowing full well that beams don't work against their suits. Reprograming the Strike is bad writing as well since he has never seen the strike code and being a programmer doesn't mean you can re code a while OS in less than 3 seconds. . In real life that impossible to do for three reason. First part I mention he has never seen the code before so how would he know what variables = to what each program can have a custom name to their own variables. 2 if your typing that fast on the computer might as well break the computer or cause it to crash. Tried to open 100 tabs on your computer and see what happens with a lot of data running in all those tabs at once. I doubt he can have 20 windows open to re code an OS that has a million line of code. Three no one had mobile suit technology besides Zaft, Orb and Earth Alliance were barely cutting it down. So its again purely bs writing and impossible. Again Ultimate coordinator does not mean anything. It means Kira has the genes his dad wanted him to have without the inferior genes that other coordinators parents had while being in the womb. This was already establish in the first season of seed. It has nothing to do with him being a good pilot . Kira still has to learn how to pilot something and things like that can't be pre program into the human body. I have no idea why you're bring up he can handle extreme environments when he has nothing to do with what I listed and it was establish in the show how Coordinators had superior genes but they still have to learn thing such as human language. They can learn it in a fast pace but not in three seconds to reprogram something that they never seen before and unknow variables they don't know. If you are saying the Ultimate coordinator means he knows everything then ask yourself this why would the Ultimate coordinator need to go to school to program, if Kira was a fast learning he would have done with school at a young age.
Don't even talk to him. He has been doing this since early 2000s. At a point he would even create other accounts to respond to himself just to hate on seed and kira. It is insane how much time he put on hating a fictional character and have never moved on since like 20 years ago.
You are not fully correct. Don't take me wrong, Kira is amazing and all. But your opinion about D2 and Shinn not being able to cope in that situation is a wastly flawed theory. I consider they'd actually do better than Kira and SF2. Here's why: You said it yourself. SFs primarily beam armaments gave Kira limited options. And it's direct close combat abilities were inferior to Shi-Ve and Cal-Re. Destiny on other hand is different story completely. It was designed on the concept of handling any situation against any enemy with just 1 carefully selected set of weapons, resulting in a compact, perfectly balanced machine with high performance and staggering abilities, which were further improved. The trick to its success is having a pilot who can use it's weapons efficently and innovativly to their fullest extent. Shinns issue in GSD was his lacking mental health and engine malfunction which stopped him from using the machine to its fullest. Now, with Mirage Colloid and Voiture Lumiere combo which allows for dodging of omni-directional attacks, Destiny being faster and more maneuverable than SF, and all that Black Knight could see in Shinns head was a jumpscare which would probably reduce Shura to begging Shinn to keep his thoughts and himself away from him, higher close combat ability and gear to beat FTA, I'd say Shinn/Destiny would have pretty good chances. I mean, Shinn evaded several attacks from his 6 o'clock with little to no effort. Still it wouldn't be an easy fight.
I mean Kira not needing to look on targets for the dragoon to shoot them isn’t really that super impressive or anything. That’s the computer doing its job. For example Lockon with Zabanya during his firing without targeting scene. It’s the exact same thing. They don’t need to look at the enemy to shoot them. The only thing Kira needs to worry about is avoid getting shot by other pilots.
Bro got clapped by Shura TWICE even in his signature suit. I don't see why he'll still win with the Mighty SF against Shura's Shi-ve.a, cuz the Lightning attack only disables remote weapons which gave Orphee's Cal-Re a huge disadvantage. Kira LIVED on Plot armor. It's even more funny is that the Cal-Re has a Chest Cannon but never fires it despite having multiple opportunities to fire it point-blank but Kira's Disruptor can. Kira is ULTIMATE Plot Armor pilot.
Lost to Athrun when they both fought to kill. Lost to Shinn and triggered the fall of the whole show. Cried about not being loved by Lacus = Lost to himself He escapes Rau's and Rey's space lasers by doing an air spinarooni so him dodging all the stuff in the movie is nothing new to him, he even dodged a nuclear explosion right in his face. He's lost every major battle against the other deurotagonists so its only copium. Even the directors admitted Athrun being the strongest by way of using the film to prop up Shura wanting to challenge Athrun Zala. Of course he'd look like he's the strongest when hes given the most super robot in the show.
@@justinwhite1336 A mobile suit running out of power =/= a pilot losing if the battle hasn't ended. Athrun blowing the Aegis up was still an act of their battle to the death. Nuke to the face was Impulse vs Freedom. Plot armor will dictate where plot armor is going to dictate though. Kira isn't called Jesus Yamato for no reason.
@LVL5esper Nope. Athrun self-destructed his mobile suit because it was NO LONGER OPERABLE, which means he had lost since he couldn't do anything. Also, your plot armor argument is completely invalid since, according to your logic, both Kira and Athrun should be dead since they were both caught in the explosion.
@@justinwhite1336 that's child think, that self destruct of Aegis was still an attempt to finish Kira off. So if two soldiers are using rifles and one guy runs out of ammo, hurts his gun as a throwing weapon and throws a grenade = he lost? 😂 In battle, a fight isn't over until one is incapacitated, doesn't matter if the tool fails or runs out of ammunition. The dumbest thing a gundam pilot can do is just sit in the cockpit and cry when it runs out of battery in mid combat while it has the upperhand.
@LVL5esper Think child, what was the final outcome of that battle, the Strike damaged and the Aegis completely destroyed beyond repair with both pilots alive. Of course, all this is ignoring the fact that Athrun chose self-destruction because he had already lost. The Aegis was completely inoperable while the Strike still had full combat capacity.
Dude really watched a video detailing how Strike Freedom's PS overheated due to 4000 missiles and 2 main antagonists and said "Strike Freedom suddenly became battery powered". Freedom ran out of PS in the end of SEED after tanking Requiem. Destiny drained itself out of energy after fighting Strike Freedom in SEED Destiny. There is no "suddenly became battery powered" as it's always been the case. If there truly was infinite energy, why would there even be an energy bar?
@@Randomvideos-zi7pe Fukuda was asked how can Athrun pilot the Strike Freedom and he said its because he's the best. I mean Athrun has no new type abilities and the dragoons can be used by average pilots based on Destiny explanation but he was able to use it and was in a suit that was not custom built for him. I would even say Shinn beats Kira at this point in terms of pilot skills because of how Kira fought. Kira comes into the fight with beam rifles shooting at Shura and Orphee knowing beams don't work. Even before Orphee joined the fight Kira was just using his beam rifles to shot Shura and he had two handheld railgun he didn't use and the same with his beam sabers. The only thing he did was use his hip rail guns once to put distance between himself and Shura. Shinn and Athrun on the other hand knew that beams don't work and straight up used handheld rail guns, anti ship sword and beam sabers. Funny thing Kira never got revenge on the people who beat him. Not against Griffin, Shura or even Redelard.
@@lemarthediamond3666 If your talking about the strike I call it plot and bs writing. There is no way he can re program a suit without know how the code was made or what each variable represents in less than three second. Not to mention him piloting the strike because he has never piloting an MS before and never had access to one since Zaft were the only one that had one. If Murrue told Kira what settings were which and to adjust that and he learns how to pilot it then its more believable
The dragoon scene still shows it locking on. It may not have been where Kira doesn't look at each unit but based on what happened in Destiny. Dragoons could be pre programmed not to hit cockpits since the next generation uses a quantum computer for non new type pilots. Since Athrun was never shown to have new type abilities in the movie it just shows Strike Freedom uses a quantum computer. Also most of the fight Kira for some reason is not using the hand held rail guns or his beam saber for some reason and for some reason using a beam rifle to shoot at the two units knowing it won't work. I mean if you put Destiny spec 2 in this fight seeing what it could do I think it would still do the same as when Shinn fought the 4 Rud-ro units. Create clones and dodge and confuse them since Shinn mind can't be read.
Dragoons are controlled by Spacial Awareness in CE. Not an OS. Athrun has been noted have a high Spacial Awareness so thats why he could use the Dragoons but not as well as Kira, as you saw in the movie. Kira simply no scoped that thing. Simple

This was the breakdown I needed. When I first watched the movie, it was insane how many fucking shots/missiles were launched during this fight. Insane how many Kira managed to evade.
It’s not because Kira Yamato’s the Ultimate Coordinator alone; nor the Gundams he pilots:
It is his resolve.
Kira, being caught in the crossfires of war based on genetic superiority and the ideology on human evolution that came after; coupled with the trauma of experiencing loss of lives of those around him- may it be death caused by his own hands and/or death at the mercy of Kira’s adversaries; overall: he vowed never to kill anyone nor to let the lives of those around him slip away…
Despite that the Strike has reached was pushed to its limits, the Freedom & Rising Freedom were nearly if not totally beaten by adversaries whose war runs or is imbibed within their ideology, and the Strike Freedom (Original & Type II) was exploited out by the Accords/Black Knight Squad of the Kingdom of Foundation- that it is more of mobility over defense/offense- it is Kira’s resolve and skills that made him & his Gundams win over their adversaries.
Kira had to deal with Cal-re, Shi-ve and Ziggurat altogether with so many disadvantage yet still managed to survive
But Kira chose to do that on purpose. He could have returned with Z'Gok to the Millennium and drop off Lacus. Then go together with Athrun to fight. Kira chose to go alone.

that's the only reason why in SEED at the end of battle, Freedom was grayed out not because it badly damaged but because it use all it's energy to survive Requiem blast plus if Freedom or Strike Freedom was truly has infinite energy, why implement energy bar at all?
in GSD, Strike Freedom barely sweat and seems all infinite was because at that point in time, no one could match againts Kira.
it's so cool to see those detail being explained!
(i don't follow the forum or any community at the time to know better, i mean i was watching from CD player.)
Freedom was pretty much has infinite energy and i remember once that it got grayed out during battle was that last scene in the requiem blast and it kept me curious all this time because in GSD the battle with shin, he clearly used so much energy to escape and fight with Shin, if the Temp was anything at all, Freedom should have been grayed out in the battle but it never did nor any scene related to the overheating issue at all.
idk about remastered if they already fix it (i got things to do, minimal time to watch any show.)
and in GSF movie, i know it's all about temp and such but to connect the dots to the original show, it make much more sense that the temp would be an issue with supposed infinite machine.

Then Kira proceeded to face a fleet of Zaft ships and mobile suits, face Shura and Orphee in a 2vs1.
Domon and his God Gundam would have cleaned them frilly ass bitches up

It's hard to make comparision if I don't have the specific max velocity they can achieve, I'll look into it later.
After rewatching the movie a few more times and with english dub, I've come to see Accords as a bunch of cheaters that could never beat the compass pilots 1v1 without their missile spam drones and their mind reading.

Even after 3 wars he still haven't grown up. He's pretty much amuro but with zero char progression and unhealthy relationship
The Super DRAGOONs on both Strike Freedoms (original and Type II) are of the second generation variety, meaning that normal pilots (those without spatial awareness, like the La Flaga family [Mu, Rau, Rey]) can use them effectively, though having spatial awareness improves their performance.

Jesus Yamato ass pull. The GOAT can create weapons from thin air.
As for the suit it self
1 high mantaince due to high end systems all freedoms are ship based needing work for hours post battle 10a up to this one.

And yet somehow in a certain forum people believe a crippled boy with a breadstick has a chance against Kira and Strike Freedom :')
I think Strike Freedom's beam shield was overheating because of all the beam saber hits that Athrun was blocking against Shura in their fight.
Strike Freedom was never pushed that hard before in melee combat and the beam shield emitter was probably was overheating.

Do you think Kira could have defeated Carl-re A if Shiva was not there?
@@PaVer-IIif femto armor is removed, shivea would be cooked for sure 😂
@@BenzAMGOne I don’t think so brother. Shive.A as shown in the movie can still dodge them dragoons bro. And it’s not like Shura is always reading minds 24/7. If he was he should have immediately known it was Athrun piloting the SFII when he and Athrun were fighting. Kira is a mob clearer type character not really made for boss fights.

@@thegundamacademy8090 lmao bro get a life. Stop stalking me loser
The Femto armor thing was so lame. More-so than the mind-reading, mind manipulation.
You are not fully correct.
Don't take me wrong, Kira is amazing and all. But your opinion about D2 and Shinn not being able to cope in that situation is a wastly flawed theory. I consider they'd actually do better than Kira and SF2. Here's why:
You said it yourself.
Now imagine if it's amuro. He will dodge before any of them read his mind
Cried about not being loved by Lacus = Lost to himself
He escapes Rau's and Rey's space lasers by doing an air spinarooni so him dodging all the stuff in the movie is nothing new to him, he even dodged a nuclear explosion right in his face.
He's lost every major battle against the other deurotagonists so its only copium. Even the directors admitted Athrun being the strongest by way of using the film to prop up Shura wanting to challenge Athrun Zala.
Of course he'd look like he's the strongest when hes given the most super robot in the show.
The last time I checked, Athrun blew his suit up after losing to Kira, and I have zero idea where you got that nuke to face feet
In battle, a fight isn't over until one is incapacitated, doesn't matter if the tool fails or runs out of ammunition.
Did this guy crowned Kira Yamato as the ultimate Gundam pilot in a world where Tobia Arronax exist?
Huh 😂 is this joke? If he good give him a normal gundam not a advance gundam.
The SFII is a normal Gundam at that point, both CalRe A and Shiva are way more advanced
Strike Freedom suddenly became battery powered because of plot reasons
They really doubled down on nuclear mobile suits running out of energy
Dude really watched a video detailing how Strike Freedom's PS overheated due to 4000 missiles and 2 main antagonists and said "Strike Freedom suddenly became battery powered".
Freedom ran out of PS in the end of SEED after tanking Requiem.
Destiny drained itself out of energy after fighting Strike Freedom in SEED Destiny.
There is no "suddenly became battery powered" as it's always been the case.
If there truly was infinite energy, why would there even be an energy bar?
Nah athrun the best
Fukuda also said that.
@@Nataku302 bro can mindfuck and can pilot almost anything with the same skill. Says much.
@@Nataku302but Kira can also drive anything too because he can program any MS that’s not custom built for him
@@lemarthediamond3666 If your talking about the strike I call it plot and bs writing.
