Hello everyone, this is Japan Sci-Fi. We now know a new movie, Gundam Seed Freedom, is on the horizon. However, a burning question remains: What mobile suit will Shin pilot? Although there hasn't been an official announcement, I have managed to deduce the identity of Shin’s mobile suit through a frame-by-frame analysis of the trailer, and from a comment made by Director Fukuda. Cutting to the chase, it appears Shin will be piloting the Immortal Justice during the first half of the movie. In the second half, he will transition to piloting the refitted Destiny Gundam, which is derived from Heine Westenfluss' Destiny Gundam. This speculation is based on a particular scene in the Gundam SEED DESTINY remaster. Allow me to elaborate.
Shin Asuka, our favorite hothead who seems capable of destroying everything around him, is an emotionally charged yet likable character. He even once defeated the almighty Kira Yamato in single combat. Though initially the main character in the narrative, Shin's spotlight was stolen by Kira Yamato in the latter half of Seed Destiny, relegating Shin to a less flattering role. It's a harsh reality, but such is the whimsical world of the comic era where fairness is a rare commodity.
Being a Shin’s fanboy, my hope is that Shin will get a chance to shine in SEED FREEDOM. The question remains: what will be his mobile suit in the movie? There are three possibilities: Immortal Justice, Impulse Gundam Spec II, and Gyan Strom. The first candidate, Immortal Justice, appears to be a successor to the Justice and Infinite Justice Gundams. Shin may pilot the Immortal Justice, as close quarter combat is his forte. Equipped with a plethora of melee weapons like the beam shield with a huge beam stinger, beam boomerang, foot beam sabre, and the Griffon beam blade, Immortal Justice aligns well with Shin’s close-quarter-centric fighting style. The next possibility is Impulse Gundam Spec II. Though its appearance in the movie is confirmed, the Impulse Spec II merely sports a color change from its predecessor. Ah, classic Bandai, tweaking the color scheme slightly to market a new Gunpla. The third candidate is Gyan Strom. Trailers indicate Agnes will pilot the Gyan, and with two Gyan Stroms confirmed, it's plausible Shin might pilot one.

Seems the only thing Impulse got was a darker blue paint job.
Wait wait wair wait a minute..........did you just pronounce Gundam like Goon Dom?.......whats with the butchering of the name Gundam? Thats just as awful as the Junius Seven incident sir!!!
AI I guess :/
I believe this creator uses an AI assist for their voice over, that would explain the weird pronunciations and weird pauses and weird enunciation.
Also fun fact for you, the machine gun on the head is usually called vulcan gun or Igellstung in Gundam SEED world, this term exist since it can be confused with Mobile Suit armament which some using Machine Gun as handled weapon
It's usually called CIWS in SEED. Igelstellung is the Earth Alliance version.
No. Igelstellung is the name for Alliance 75mm guns. The generic term for these Close-In Weapon Systems are just called, well, CIWS.
I dont think the term "vulcan" was ever used.
@@eight-cloudspurple5871 Vulcan is usually used in UC. In SEED, it's CIWS lol.
Oof you're right I forgot about CIWS, been a long time since I'm diving into SEED stuff@@striker2088
Man i cant wait for an updated 105 Dagger kit! :D
Same, the 105 gunbarrel was my very first kit EVER back in 2005 xD
They totally need to make a new 105 dagger kit.
For Immortal Justice the head CIWS is double so its like 4 barrels and it loses the CIWS on the chest. Those four are not CIWS but cameras.
Well made video, thank you!
I just noticed the Rudrus.A units are based on the Ginn.
Gyan Storm look like mixture of Original Gyan,Gyan Kai and R-Jarja into one
Wait. How do you figure if Athrun goes to the Impulse Gundam Spec-II?
He was basing the details on rumors at the time.
The Destiny also has VPS on the joints, which glows gunmetalic. Destiny is NJC equipped Nuclear-Deuterium powered MS, so the possibility of those Rudro.A being nuclear powered is still there.
Nope only infinite Justice and Strike Freedom have that feature. Destiny and legend have more active movable armor to mitigate the lacking armor.
Just gotta confirm. This dialogue and speech in the video is AI, right. Pronouncing Goon-Damn and saying M and T instead of meter and tons is jarring
At 2:45 your video says that using Red phase shift armor uses more energy. Could you elaborate on that for me that caught my attention right away!
That is based on Saviour Gundam's lore and Strike Rouge.
They both have Red( or pink) phaseshift, which said to be "harder" than the white one, and also uses larger energy.
However they both have power extender technology (or the extra battery)
@@Gundam_Breakdowns I think it was mention on Sword Impulse mode has the highest defense as well based on the games but I don't the colors matter otherwise Kira would have flown in a pink suit rather then switch Strike Rouge back using Strike color scheme. If that was the case they could made Impulse all red given how Shinn was the only pilot in the Minerva with a gundam and they were being out gunned. Impulse uses less weapons than Saviour besides the Blast form.
Do the shields on immortal and rising have CWIS machine guns? What are those holes in the shields for?
Its for glory😂
At least you were able to identify what mobile suits will show in the movie, unlike those losers from the Gundam Wiki.
Shinn isn’t piloting destiny ?
Is Kira gonna live so Seed will continue?
Fun Fact Rising Freedom design different and Freedom and Strike
We need more hg grunt suits for seed.
Guaizes plz
Yessss we need that as a hg model kit
Any zaft grunt will do
Nice work catching all those hidden details with Impulse and Archangel. But I think you are wrong about Coordinator terrorists. I don't think that there could be any left after ,, Break the world " incident, or that any coordinator would want to be that with Logos and Blue Cosmos eradicated. Let's not forget having blood to spare was never 1 of PLANTs qualities. I mean, NO coordinator EVER died of OLD age. And after their loses during Operation Ragnarok and all battles after they probably have trouble srounging up new troops. And old suits are probably there because of demilitarization due to treaty. I think Carpentaria is getting attacked and defenders have to fight with whatever they have on deck.
I think the NEW Minerva is owned by Yzak and Dearka for now
Were the red particles ever officaly confirmed to be because of nuclear, if so why did the Justice not have them?
it is half/half
For Freedom, it is confirmed officially the red particle comes from redundant energy radiation (inferred to be from NJC)
Is Fukuda gonna kill Kira in the movie?
😎👌
destroy goondom? interesting.
Will the gen 4 Gundams will get into the post credit?
Against Beam weapons
Nanolaminate Armor > FT Armor
🤷
Is Seed continuing?
Your voice over was better than this ai voice
So no Destiny? Shin is piloting the Impulse? What an epic downgrade.
Usually they r called CIWS or close inboard weapon system.
I agreed Impulse will be Athrun's mecha as Terminal always recycle old mecha, like Gaia gundam
The Earth Alliance really got nothing new? Lame
