    I love the way you speak and that you do this so detailed without ego. Easy to listen to and you get so much info from a normal person who have actually used the product for real. Find it a bit of an embarrassment that one of the most expensive boards has serious issues with motors and that all spares are so much more expensive than serious competitors. Thank you

    • @MichaelHurdleStudio
      @MichaelHurdleStudio  5 лет назад

      Thank you for the wonderful comment. I'm having motor issues again and now I'm loosing the love that I had for boosted. I can't buy those motors anywhere online. They got their motor game on lock. It's very annoying. I've opened up a ticket with boosted over a week ago and head back from no one. I called them and the automate system hangs up on me after a min or two. I can't even speak to a live person. Boosted is really loosing me when it comes to their customer service. Now I'm stuck with a busted motor that I can't even buy from boosted's site. I'll give them another week or two before I stop showing them love.

    Great helmet plug there at the end! So true, I thought falls were for people who didnt know how to ride or werent paying attention. My worst fall was because a hair thin piece of dynema cord(strongest fiber in mass production, often used in spear fishing or rock climbing) wrapped itself around my wheels and instantly locked them up. I didn't know what happened, one second i was cruising at 22mph, the next my head hit the ground so hard it cracked the helmet. I had no head injury and was lucky that that was one of the days i felt like wearing my helement, now i never question if i want to. It always comes along on a ride.

    Bruh the motors!!! The freaking motors man. I’ve order 4 of them within 6 months. May is the month when my warranty ends. So I email boosted asking them when my warranty end it will be pretty costly for me to keep replacing motors every 3 or 4 months. They say they will continue to provide new ones if they ever start doing that rattling noise again. That was pretty reassuring for me, cuz I was not about to spend $100 on new ones every time they break.

    I occasionally go to NYC for months at a time. The boosted board will indeed change your life for the better. I commuted from Harlem into Mid-town Manhattan faster than taking the subway. I could not agree more. I too hate the wait for the subway. You will waste your life waiting for it. Central Park in the morning and late-night is, for the most part, a vacant highway of bliss.

    Great video mate! Very detailed.
    One recommendation though - I noticed your front foot is pretty straight (parallel with the board). I suggest you turn it more perpendicular as it’ll allow you to make turns and carve better. I know it feels more comfortable (I used to do it too) but you’ll feel a lot more safe when you have more control after getting used to the different position.

    Hi Michael! Great video!! I'm form brazil and i'm thinking to get a boosted! But first, I would like to know about your experience with bad quality roads, tiny holes, cracks... and with speed bumps, have you ever fall because of it? and about the battery, how far you can go with standard range battery pack?

    • @MichaelHurdleStudio
      @MichaelHurdleStudio  5 лет назад +1

      Hey Matheus. I'm good. Good choice choosing the boosted board. The wheels that are on the board are pretty good for taking small potholes and cracks in the street. Yes, I've gotten thrown off the board a few times in the past, but you'll get use to it. I can go about 10 miles on mode 3, 6 miles on mode 5. It's pretty solid.

    • @MichaelHurdleStudio
      @MichaelHurdleStudio  5 лет назад +1

      That's a very good question. Boosted has a newer motor that they send to you when the old motor goes bad. People say that the new motor does not break like the older motors. That's a good thing! but! one of my motors are making that famous boosted motor noise again, I opened a new ticket to have boosted send me another motor (for free) that's a good thing, but I've been waiting for them to send me this motor for over a month now. When I call boosted, the automated service robot keeps hanging up on me, telling me that they have a really high call count and I should try again later. I'm so upset right now. This is what you guys should expect when buying this board. I'm almost up to 2000 miles or 3218.688 km on the board so far and I want to do a 2000 miles later review on the boosted stealth. I will be talking about my experience in that video. Hope that helped dude.

      Michael Hurdle Production Studio Thank you for taking your time to reply. Currently I have a boosted mini x and it’s actually in mountain view california right now at boosted to get its motors fixed. I’ve been thinking of selling my mini x and buying the stealth because the mini x is too small for me. Do you think I should upgrade or wait till boosted makes a new board maybe in 2020. Because in your video here the deck is amazing where you can literally bounce on it!

    • @MichaelHurdleStudio

      @@Voxuami No problem bro. If you upgrade to the Stealth you will not be mad, I think if you buy a new stealth, it comes with the new motors already build in. • @MichaelHurdleStudio
      @MichaelHurdleStudio  5 лет назад +1

      Thanks for the comment bro. To be real with you, not one cop approached me since I started riding these boards. Here's what I do to avoid the po-po. I never go through a red light when they are around. I never speed through or around people. I stay in the bike lanes as much as I could ( but some bike lanes are freaking death traps if you ask me). I say as long as all of the e-nerds keep that up, I think we would be fine. Plus po-po got their eyes on the bikes with that attachment that makes them into superbikes, lol, the ones that the food delivery dudes use. They mess with them way more than the scooter and skateboards. Once you start making money with these E-vehicles, then they're going to start messing with you! You know these people don't like us making money and they don't get their cuts lol.

    • @MichaelHurdleStudio
      @MichaelHurdleStudio  5 лет назад +1

      So far I've changed the belts once, and it was not even damaged! Boosted asked me to change the belts before they send me the replacement motors to see if it was the belts, so realistically the belts were still in great condition. I'd say to make the belts last longer is to kick push into the throttle to prevent strain on the belts during take off. Make sure your belts are not too tight on the motors because that could rip the belts. Try and replace your belt covers when you see wear and tear, but this board can take a freakin beating man. lol

I kick push when I see them sometimes, they mostly think I'm riding a regular skateboard. Most cops in NYC have no idea what these's boards are! I like that. I try to keep them in the don't know zone. If I do see a cop when I'm on the board and they ask me questions about it. I mention all the safety features that the board provides, then I go on my merry way. lol. But so far not too many problems with NYPD "Yet" lol
