behind the scenes, Lime were upto some sneaky behaviour which contributed to Boosted's downfall, so that they could get the IP at a much better price.

I have a boosted board with no remote. Is there an alternative remote for my booster stealth and pro? If I pay you guys and ship it out to you and your team would you be able to make a new remote? Please let me know when you can

Boosted was only big in the usa. Had huge import fees if you wanted one outside of the US. On a world wode platform it was easier to get and evolve skateboard.

I'm sorry I don't get it. An overpriced underperforming skateboard with only 6 miles of range. I understand Nostalgia but Compared to even some of their contemporaries Boosted boards just didn't measure up Performance wise. I get it, everybody Was wrapped up in Trying to be Casey Niestat But their boards don't even measure up to what your company (bkb) is currently putting out in price or performance. I guess I'm just a little lost because I don't have an emotional attachment to a vLogger that I have never met. From what I can see boosted board is the equivalent of Apple's iPhone lower performance higher price and exclusivity, it was in its entirety a retail cult. Particularly when there were lower-priced better-performing locally-sourced boards. And to bring it forward to today they were no match for the evolves, bkbs and assorted other board companies products. And not to mention the ever hated Chinese companies like meepo that are blowing boosted Boards out of the water with lower price better range and better quality. As a photographer I spend precious little time worshipping companies with an inferior product to mine. But what do I know I'm not Casey Niestat.

Fair points! However boosted was the biggest name in Esk8 way back when. The quality and performance at their time was more great for the majority of riders, and there wasn’t much competition. You’re right, Boosted was expensive, and the performance isn’t to todays standards. However, Boosted walked so BKB, Meepo, etc. can RUN!

Regarding your apple comparison. Boosted = a polished, well marketed consumer product delivering what it adverstised to do consistently with solid customer service. Everything else was, on paper, in theory, more powerful if you're comfortable with DIY or lower quality customer service. My first esk8 was a meepo and I eventually had a boosted. Although on paper the meepo was more powerful the boosted was more enjoyable to use. Range sucked.

Wow it almost seems as if technology seems to advance and get cheaper over time as industries mature... Who would have thought!? Your really don't seem like you understand seeing as you are comparing a board from a company that went bankrupt 3 years ago to one released today. Eskate is still a relatively new industry but boards have gotten exponentially better, more advanced and more affordable. I don't know or really care what your seem obsession or hatred of Casey Neistat is about but it does seem like some form of emotional attachment based on your post. I purchased a boosted v2 dual + not because a wanted to be like some youtuber but because I loved longboarding especially with my dog and I thought having an electric board and being able to brake without destroying my shoes/feet would be awesome and also just allow me to ride a lot of places thought would otherwise be unacceptable. I was on a walk one day and saw someone riding one and got to talking with the guy and he let me try it out while he lead onto my dogs leash for me and I fell in love with it. It was expensive yes maybe even overpriced by some metrics but it was a great board especially for it's time. The range was definitely lacking but all boards during that period had shitty range. But it had a great Loaded flex deck and it was quick. But most important of all I fucking loved it and road it every chance I could and it helped distract me from my depressing life and showed me that life still can be fun. I don't think there is anyone that thinks that Boosted made the best or most powerful boards but its pretty clear from the fact that so many companies tried to copy them that they were doing something right. There were far fewer choices back then when I bought mine in 2015/16 and fast forward to today the industry is dominated by the china boards and other companies really struggle to compete on price. Boosted also had great customer service which is definitely lacking in many of the china board companies. More competition is always good and I for one am sad that boosted is no longer. I really think it was stupid to make a scooter when they did and it ultimately ended them. But boosted brought a ton of new people to the sport myself included and for that and they good times they gave me they will always hold a special place in my heart.
