A friend of mine came across this video and linked it to me - thanks for covering Clam 2! I'm the solo developer and I always worry that no one knows or cares about the game, so seeing it covered like this (and so positively) really made my day. Huge thanks, and great video!
Hey marafrass! It's so cool to see you here, big fan! I'm happy I could send ya some well deserved eyeballs and I am warmly waiting Headliner, thanks for making great games so I can fan out over them!!
Oh man, *I* care about the game! Clam man is great! I found myself thinking about its vibes for weeks after playing it. Thanks for making it - I'm sure it's a ton of work.
Yessss hello fellow clam fan! I've been following clam man 2 progress on twitter and I can't wait. It looks so good. He added a card game that looks really fun recently
Clicked expecting a lazy rehash of the usual suspects, but this was a bold list of well-argumented slightly more niche or unexpected picks! Happy to leave a comment for the engagement gods.
Glad to have more games to add to my wish list! I also agree that it's really hard to define a "cozy" game. It's probably a completely unique concept for each person. Like for me, someone who's only dabbled in them, I'm thinking it's a combination of not having to optimize my strategies, and lets me forget the real world, while not feeling "I could be doing something productive". So like a sense of freedom? But also I have a personal struggle with dropping the productivity mindset which explains why I've only dabbled! But also also I could just describe an ideal mindset when playing games. It's all philosophy.
It IS all philosophy!! You are totally right what's cozy for some probably isn't for all and that's probably a big contributor to how ???? cozy games can be. I totally get the productivity mindset thing too, but then again something like graveyard keeper is aaallll about getting stuff done. So I guess I still can't define what makes something cozy to me 100%
Definitely going to have to checkout some of the games on this list, in particular I might play the witch game on stream so I can voice the characters. Also I love your editing and pacing of delivery. 💜
This was such a good video!! Love the way you reviewed each of the games and all of your jokes were actually funny and organically weaved into the reviews! Keep up the great work!
I saw Clam Man and had to click! I loved the first game and can't wait for Clam Man 2. I've heard of a few of these games but now you've really sold them to me! Great video :)
I'm a streamer that knows about *most* indie game releases I care about and I'm not huge on cozy games as a whole, yet I *still* found two games I was unfamiliar with and am now interested in from this video =)
I’d never heard of clam man but it looks so cute LOL Great list!! I’d heard of a few of them like sea of stars but they all seem really really fun, and I don’t even like “cozy” games that much typically lol!
Idk why, but I thought this video would be TTRPGs. Ngl, your cozy games seem on the edge. Like Mushroom Musume looks like Vermis, and Cosmic Wheel Sisterhood looks like it's about loss. Not to mention a game about moving corpses. I hate the idea of it, but I'm tempted to play that Mushroom Musume game. It's so weird. Good video.
I love how short but in depth each review was for each game and am glad you put in your 2 cents at the end of the cozy game genre as a whole. I feel like I keep running into A LOT of farming sims or just games that put me into zombie mode to do a bunch of lifeless fetch quests or gather x amount of materials. I’ll definitely give the tarot reading game a shot! Looks like a beautiful game!
I just got here after Adam Millard recommended your Channel and this video definitely sold me on subscribing to you! Still curious to find out where the feline sandwhich comes into play so onto the next video!
Staring into the void that is an empty open fridge is quite the mood! Loved the video, nice to see some interesting games that may not make it to the front page but deserve too, Thank you Katie
Came here from Adam Millard channel recommendation. Like the work you put and vibe of your videos❤! If you enjoyed Sea of Stars you should totally try Chained Echoes! It's also a pretty modern pixel-art jRPG with cool characters, tight plot and absence of huge amount of battles and grind.
Ooo now that's a recommendation I can relate to! Thank you! And welcome!!!!! So glad you enjoy ❤️💯✨ Idk why I put all those emojis, Im not usually a million emoji person I swear
i’ve been hesitant about it but this made me finally get the appeal of cosmic wheel sisterhood! i’m excited to try it! didn’t know about clam man either and i Will be playing that now too :D great video!
Cozy is weird for me. Sometimes I vibe with the, er, vibe, of the game and sometimes I find that it's idea of cozy is something that does nothing for me at all. I always approach cozy game recs with apprehension, but these do sound very good and, best of all, aren't the usual suspects! Cheers!
I am not normally one to go for comfy games, but THESE are exactly the kind of games that catch my eye. Thank you for this list! I had already tried the demo for The Cosmic Wheel of Sisterhood in a Next Fest and had it in my wishlist, and now I'm very excited to try Mushroom Musume~ Have you heard of "I was a teenage exocolonist"? I feel it might be a game you enjoy based on this video...
You are not the first to say I would like it! I saw the writer speak and she was lovely so between all that, I think I really gotta check exocolonist out!
Love this video! Absolutely gonna check out The Cosmic Wheel Sisterhood! That looks like something I'd love to voice act in (if I ever make a channel) :) Just subscribed :3
I'm not much of a gamer 😂 i dont understand what the wee symbols mean with the available on 😢. Is the witch one or the stand up one available on tablet? Its the only tech i have?
I didn't even think about that!! I'll have to put a key in the description or something like that next time, thanks for letting me know! Unfortunately just a tablet won't work 😢 if you have a desktop or laptop computer with Windows (not a Mac unfortunately 😭) you can install an application called "steam" (like an app store but for games) and that will let you buy and play it! If you want to get REALLY fancy after that, you can use an app on your tablet called "steam link" and that will let you stream the game to your tablet from your laptop! But that might be too involved?? Best of luck! I hope this was helpful! The other symbol means you can play it on a Nintendo Switch
The writing and humor of this were so fun to watch! I fully agree, it's so hard to find good cozy games with actual heart behind them now that game stores are so saturated with them - not only did you sell me on Cosmic Wheel Sisterhood, but now I'm eager to check out more of your video essays as well!
ruclips.net/video/TrAJzniyyZI/видео.html I'm curious what you thought/think of Davey Wreden's upcoming game "Wanderstop" which looks to subvert the cozy game with a splash of... panic attack?
I'll give anything Wrenden makes at least a cursory try, I'm very excited to see what kind of spin he gives this one. There's a sense in the trailer that there's a lot going on under the surface. That said, that chunky 3D models look will take a lot to truly win me over lol
Well, I'm going to have to give "Cosmic Wheel Sisterhood" a chance....the description reminded me a lot of "I Was a Teenage Exocolonist" which I loved.
i find it to be an issue when you could use the same word to describe a farming sim that you could an investigative game, a completely different gameplay style, kind of a shame this video isn't more focused but i don't think it's your fault, it's the market's fault for arbitrarily grouping these games under that term. i really wish more people were more aware of how weird they sound when they complain about farming games all playing the same and tells me to go play an investigative game, like that's a completely different style of game. maybe they just don't like farming games. i don't like soulslikes but im not going to complain about how they all play the same.
3/4 of those sound miserable, and I skipped over the other one because I'm considering playing it. How can you be cozy and miserable at the same time? Moreover, why do people have to make _games_ that are depressing? Reality is depressing enough, I don't want it in my escapism too!
I know Cosmic Wheel is supposed to be very lesbian, I get it, I truly do. But you are giving me an Eldritch Horror and expect me to NOT try and romance him???
Always glad when the algorithm actually suggests a video I enjoy.
I see what you did there
Yeah, it does not happen often :')

I'm glad more people have discovered Clam man! I only played the first one, but I forgot there was a second one in the works! Thanks for reminding me!
Yessss hello fellow clam fan! I've been following clam man 2 progress on twitter and I can't wait. It looks so good. He added a card game that looks really fun recently
This video gave me +5 dampness and +1 mycelium

Hey thanks!!
10:15 "How many to-do list items can you remember before you get distracted". The answer is 0. I had to take notes for graveyard keeper lol
Lol good call tbh
Glad to have more games to add to my wish list!

I am suddenly consumed by the urge to play all the games on this list!
Yessss!! I hope they are all as fun for you as they were for me!!
Oh this rules. Downloading clam man asap. I didn't know I needed this
Don't forget to check the fridge, you might get hungry!
Definitely going to have to checkout some of the games on this list, in particular I might play the witch game on stream so I can voice the characters. Also I love your editing and pacing of delivery. 💜
Thanks for recommending this video in your community post, Aranock. I really enjoyed the video too.
That would be SUCH a service and so cool!
This has definitely convinced me to play Cosmic Wheel of Sisterhood!
ahshdjfj i was so surprised this doesn’t have more views because this is an amazing video!!
BLUSH thank you!!
This was such a good video!! Love the way you reviewed each of the games and all of your jokes were actually funny and organically weaved into the reviews! Keep up the great work!
Hahaha thank you! My jokes always feel like a risk because I'm worried they won't land, glad a few did this time!!
Graveyard Keeper is one of the few games in my Steam library that I've actually completed, highly recommend.
I saw Clam Man and had to click! I loved the first game and can't wait for Clam Man 2. I've heard of a few of these games but now you've really sold them to me! Great video :)
I hadn't heard of some of these. Thanks for making the review/descriptions. Great work!
Thank you!
Gosh sea of stars was such a absolute blast to me and made me feel nostalgia for magical starsign
I'm a streamer that knows about *most* indie game releases I care about and I'm not huge on cozy games as a whole, yet I *still* found two games I was unfamiliar with and am now interested in from this video =)
Ah cool! I hope your viewers and you enjoy!
Missed you Katie loved this video and may have to play these games on my down time
ITS GOOD TO BE BACK!!! I hope you enjoy!!
I added mushroom musume to my steam wishlist! thank you for the recommendation, it looks really cool ^^
Yay!! I hope you enjoy!
I’d never heard of clam man but it looks so cute LOL
Great list!! I’d heard of a few of them like sea of stars but they all seem really really fun, and I don’t even like “cozy” games that much typically lol!
There's so many opportunistic cash grabs games diluting a perfectly good genre here 😤
Only absolute top picks here
Oh and the music in the outro. Brought a tear to my eye.
LATER ALLIGATOR IS SO GREAT THO RIGHT???
Idk why, but I thought this video would be TTRPGs.
Ngl, your cozy games seem on the edge. Like Mushroom Musume looks like Vermis, and Cosmic Wheel Sisterhood looks like it's about loss. Not to mention a game about moving corpses.
I hate the idea of it, but I'm tempted to play that Mushroom Musume game. It's so weird.
Good video.
Excuse me, how do you only have 740 subscribers? The quality of this video is insane for such a small challenge. Keep it up, please!
HELL YEAH i was waiting for literally anyone else to mention cosmic wheel sisterhood!!
HELL YEAH!! I know right?? How is that game not stratospherically popular??
I love how short but in depth each review was for each game and am glad you put in your 2 cents at the end of the cozy game genre as a whole. I feel like I keep running into A LOT of farming sims or just games that put me into zombie mode to do a bunch of lifeless fetch quests or gather x amount of materials. I’ll definitely give the tarot reading game a shot! Looks like a beautiful game!
It's sooo many farming sims, it's crazy!!
COSMIC WHEEL OF SISTERHOOD IS THE BEST IVE BEEN WAITING FOR SOMEONE TO TALK ABT IT
I KNOW RIGHT?? ITS SO GOOD HOW IS IT NOT ALL OVER EVERYWHERE?
I'd been on the fence about graveyard keeper for a while and this sold it for me!
I just got here after Adam Millard recommended your Channel and this video definitely sold me on subscribing to you! Still curious to find out where the feline sandwhich comes into play so onto the next video!

Thanks to the algorithm gods for recommending this video!. Going to check these out.
Engagement for the engagement god!
I just learned about Aranock, but dang her fans seem chill
Really cool video, Adam Millard suggested well, I'll be binge watching here forna while :)
I love how un apologetic cosmic wheel is, going so far as to have a collab with bad dragon so you too can ride Abramar for hours 😄
It's not unlike never ending story and falcor, I totally get it, would summon again
i’ve been hesitant about it but this made me finally get the appeal of cosmic wheel sisterhood! i’m excited to try it! didn’t know about clam man either and i Will be playing that now too :D great video!
A perfect ending analysis

That was pretty long, but I felt like what you said was worth while... which is why I watched until the end.
wow the shock when i saw the subscriber count at only 663 for the quality of this video :oo i liked this game list a lot, ty for sharing c:
Ty for watching!!
I am not normally one to go for comfy games, but THESE are exactly the kind of games that catch my eye.

Faking me out with Stardew. When you forget your zombie in Graveyard Keeper, does it default to slumbering toward humans to eat their brains?
Love this list!
WHEELS! When will they release wheels as a standalone mobile game?
Pleeeaase I need like 10 more wheels tables at least
great, non-obvious picks!
Love this video! Absolutely gonna check out The Cosmic Wheel Sisterhood! That looks like something I'd love to voice act in (if I ever make a channel) :)
Just subscribed :3
Yessss!!!
i wish cozy games were so much better none of these feel cozy or comforting
I think you should check out Season, I bought it on a whim and it was so good
Oh yeah season!! You are right I should absolutely check that one out, it looks amazing

I only learned abt Cosmic susterhood from ytuber MadMorph who read everything, so i get to enjoy it as if a podcast haha
His voice acting is always so on point!

What's the game before Mushed Up Daughters? Looks pretty hilarious
Who's Your Daddy, there's a free beta on steam rn~

HELLO??? HAZEL MENTION?
In this house we stan our obscure anime queen
btw calling gravedigging sim goth stardew valley is weird, i'd call it goth animal crossing if anything
Amazing channel
MUSHROOM MUSUME MENTIONED🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Now this is a good video
Dawww why thank you!
Games!!!!
Did somebody say games??

My biggest issue with Graveyard Keeper is that it's got Roma stereotypes with the G slur in it. Very racist.
Good point! That part isn't cool at all :(
