Crazy how Morrison is almost 60 and he's still killing it. One of the best actors.
Edit: he's actually 60 years old as of today, December 26. Happy birthday Mr.Fett!
60 ?😲
Are we blind? Deploy the birthday wishes!
@@dooglive922 yes rally everyone
We'll have to send a lot of birthday wishes then.
He looks like he's 40 and seems to have energy like he's 30. Time has treated him well.
Of all the support characters in the prequels, this was the best casting.
Hes from the originals
@@purveyoroftruth7096 i think he is talking about jango fett.

@@purveyoroftruth7096 yeah, I typed it in confusing maner. I was talking about the actor.
@@purveyoroftruth7096 you cast actors, not characters. They said he was best cast, as in he was one of the best actors cast for the prequels (and now the Mandalorian).
BOBA FETT really does get better with age.
Like a fine wine.

"If Mando is a gunslinger then Boba needs to be a barbarian." Chills...yes he was!
Yes, Temuera was really intense as Boba fett in this episode. He was a raging berserker with and without the armor. He completely destroyed those stormtroopers. Tem truly embodies the barbarian Boba fett is.
@@nishantjoshi5174 Also exhibits a brute variation of a Mandalorian fighting style without using the jet pack which can potentially be used by other Mandalorian clans. Another unique fighting style added to the SW universe

Most people cried when luke Skywalker appeared.

Jon Faverau, Dave Filoni, Gareth Edwards: "Forget the sequels, THIS is the way."
Why are these performances so spot on and real? Cuz these actors and writers love this lore and its characters. It really shows. Happy 60th birthday, Temuera Morrison!
If I remember, Temeura Morrison wants to play live action Captain Rex. Will Star Wars fulfill his wish?
I say it will happen. I'm 99.9% sure it will. Dave Filoni is heading the Ahsoka series and he loves both of those characters. He even has an art piece of an aged Rex and Ahsoka headlining his Twitter profile. When Temuera Morrison started talking, I hit the like button. Just a natural response.
I REALLY hope Temaura also steps in and plays the live action Rex, because that would just be AMAZING. What's more, we know Rex is still alive as he participated in the Battle of Endor.
But this is five years after than, and Rex was already super old
Kinda cool how Jon and Dave both knew everyone would pick up on those spurs and radio noises being Boba. They really show faith and respect to the fans. Also seeing Temuera doing a haka in Boba's armor is something I didn't know I wanted.
I'm not going to lie, when I first saw that part of the episode and heard the spurs, I thought it was Cad Bane following Mando's trail while he hunted for The Child. Boba Fett is much, MUCH better. In every way.
When Morrison reprise the role as the son of jango fett and wearing for the first time to see him wear boba fett armor
It makes me so happy to see that bright smile on Temuera's face! A great actor who's so ecstatic to be back in Star Wars! He absolutely deserves this!
We have the best coming from NZ:
the Clone Troopers, the Fett's and the Uruk-Hais!
I just love how Temeura Morrison made Boba Fett a Māori Mandalorian haha
Robert Rodriguez and Star Wars. Would've never thought of that combo, but so glad it happened
I just love how everybody in the set is having a really good time while also making damn good Star Wars material
You can tell how much fun he's having and how much he wanted to be back.
Man, I still remember when Temura was initially cast as Jango Fett, and the fanbase got angry (...). Fast forward to now, and everybody loves him and is excited about Boba's return and TV show. How the tides have turned. Anyway, Temura is awesome, and I'm happy for him. I hope that Hayden Christensen will get redeemed as well through the upcoming Obi-Wan show.
Polynesian culture is just amazing. I love how he used the Haka as Boba’s fighting style.
Why, WHY....why did they not let us hear him doing the Haka in the armor when he was standing on the rock????? Ah well! Any how, Boba Fett's mystique is restored, and all it took was a few cracks of a Gaffi stick, and this outstanding actor! Love him so much! Really really happy with Rodrigez's approach to the ep too. More, more, more!!
Somewhere Jason Momoa is trying his hardest to find a way to find a Star Wars/AquaMan crossover.
Imagine if he lands a role in the star wars universe
Hell yeah!
Bring Boba "Thomas Curry" Fett his son! Lock the damn chevron, puddle jump some Dothraki on hippocamp right into Mandalorian season 3...
Imagine another Mandalorian tribe comes in and it’s actually the faction that adopted Jango with their current leader being played by Momoa. They could do haka dances and stuff too.
In Legends, there were Mandalorin War chants and songs based on Haka.
Boba Fett is Aquamans dad
They can keep Jason the Pedo.
Hopefully Disney+ will keep Mr. Morrison quite busy since he can always play Rex or any variety of clones. The force is strong with that one.
When I first saw Temura doing the haka in costume I thought why, however hearing him explain the way he plays the character it made perfect sense.
Great performance. Thank the maker we have the Mandolorian show.
I love how Temuera Morrison and Jason Momoa will just break out the Haka dance wherever they are. I can’t wait for the book of boba fett and to see him again in Aquaman 2
Temura is generally just a great guy
Really? Thats sick but makes sense now i think about it
Just the music throughout this whole BTS look, Temuera Morrison back and showing such passion for playing the character, I still can't believe Boba Fett is back. He's really back Post-Return. This is what I've wanted to see, the one thing I wanted to see after watching Return back when I was just 5 years old. Man, seeing Luke Skywalker was many's emotional moment for this season. For me, it was seeing Boba back and finally being the badass we always knew he was. Thank you Favreau, thank you Filoni, and thank you Temuera Morrison
The way he fought those Storm Troopers with a gaffi stick reminded me of a Maori warrior using a Taiaha
I love to see how happy Temuera is with being a part of Star Wars again. He said all the time that he really wants to play a clone again someday or that he loved his old roles in the movies.

Some only say this becouse Temuera voiced the clones in battlefront 2004 and they had no personality, but the point is, no one had a personality in that game, that was the point, but in battlefront 2005, he was incredible as the narrator. And also he nailed Boss in republic commando.
@@attilafekete7892 That's actually been my strongest argument in his favor.

I for one found the incorperation of Maori martial arts and vibe to Boba made him like 100x cooler and made him stand out even more. Kind of elevates him from "Guy with Gun" status. Does make me wonder if that is a culture that Jango shared and if that was native to them or something that came from the Mandalorians?
A lot of what was canonized (at least in the books) as Mandalorian culture is based (at least loosely) off of Maori warrior culture. At least, it's the only one named. So...probably came from the Mandalorians and was then shared by Jango with both his son and the other clones.
Temuera Morrison is the GOAT. Loved him in the prequels, he's great in Aquaman, and I screamed when he returned in the Mandalorian. Can't wait for the Book of Bobba Fett
Wait, he's in Aquaman? Now I have a reason to watch that movie.
As a kiwi, I loved seeing the incorporation of the Maori-like fighting style for Boba. When I first watched that scene where he fought with the stick, it immediately made me think of the haka and the stick being a taiaha. It makes me happy to see this culture’s influence in big productions like Star Wars.
I just loved how they brought out his Maori fighting style for his unarmored appearance. It made Boba Fett honestly scarier WITHOUT the armor, lol.
Temeura Morrison really made Boba Fett the epitome of the phrase, “Fear the old man in a profession where the people die young.”
I like temuera morrison when he do his own stunt, he is a good actor, and good fighter.
Happy 60th birthday for Temuera Morrison!
Bring back Boba Fett! Respect the legacy characters! Tem loves to play this role so much; he’s a legend. It’s so cool how the Māori culture was incorporated, too.

2:49, the Fetts are Firebenders confirmed
1:43 classic Boba Fett, doesn’t even fire a blaster and kills two stormtroopers 😎
"The Hardcore Know" haha yes we knew it was Boba the minute those spurs started clinging we knew. So happy Morrison came back.
I love how passionate the directors are about the character of Boba Fett, you can tell they loved that character growing up
Temuera Morrison is the best thing that's happened to the Boba Fett character. The Maori warrior culture he brings to Boba takes the character to another level, he makes Din Djarin seem mediocre in comparison. The fact that he's 60 but moves like a 20 or 30 something year old is freaking incredible. I'm completely sold on Temuera Morrison's Boba Fett, I think he's what fans wanted from the start but we ended up with the so so Din Djarin who lacks the warrior drive Temuera brings.
Add in the fact that Boba should be around 40, and it is still believable, just makes Morrison that much cooler. Edit: also, cut Din some slack. He should also be around 40, and bounty hunting is definitely a young mans game.
2:18 all respect for Rex voice actor but Temuera is the best. Especialy for who played the games.
