why do people consider the flirting thing out of character for him? I thought it worked well, made him a bit slicker to be honest how he strokes her chin as he walks off. It was a cool little flourish to his character.
The Fett man likes poontang, nothing wrong with that.

Clint flirted aaaaallllll the time, and the ladies loved him! Boba's flirting scene was the most character-friendly change the special edition had to offer. Fucking hate that new cgi bullshit song piece of shit they made for Jabba's Palace tho...
Saying it's 'out of character' is strange when there's nearly character to begin with.
Yeah, any reference to that CGI song in Jabba's palace just infuriates me. I tried to show my 9 year old niece the movie and when that part came along, I just kept saying, "None of this was in the original. I don't like this part." She doesn't understand why my family grew up on Star Wars and loved it so much because she's only seen the "remastered" versions with all of the kiddy low quality CGI crap that Lucas shoved in there. Ugh. What a waste.
If the dancers were hot, like the ORIGINAL blue chick with the things coming out of her head, then yeah it would make sense that he was flirting with her and grabbing her chin because daayum. But those dancers were fugly, especially the one he chin-grabs. Boba would have snubbed them if anything. He's not hitting that. And he would not have hung around for that fucking song.

Honestly, I would've been happy if they had just made Boba Fett either the primary antagonist or hired by the primary antagonist of the Han Solo movie. I don't need a standalone. Just a significant role in one of the other anthology movies.

it's really interesting to see all the reused concepts. his original helmet was made into rako hardeen's helmet, the concept of the super stormtrooper was made into the mandalorian supercommandoes, the jaig eyes on his helmet were given to rex...

Honestly, I don't want a Han Solo movie, I would rather have a Boba Fett one!
I said the same thing...but i have a good feeling that Ron Howard is def going to have Boba Fett be in the movie as the surprise villian of the movie. If you ever seen the RoTJ scene where solo hits fett blindly...solo says his name scared like he knew him from his past thats come back to haunt him.

Julien Caesar there’s convincing evidence that Boba made an appearance at the very end of the 5th episode of The Mandalorian. Spurred boots and the beeping radar sound from his first appearance in Empire could be heard as a shadowy figure walked up to a dead bounty. And it’s on Tatooine of all places.

Julien Caesar my guess is that they’re teasing something for season 2. Like a mandalorian bounty hunter stand off or something. Maybe Boba will take a job from the Empire again and hunt down the child.

My favorite part is his subtlety. Like when he gives a nod of approval when the 'guy' pulls out the thermal detonator; game recognizes game.

Boba flirting with chicks is out of character? What? He is a bounty hunter, not a monk.
Joel Walker it is out of character because he doesn't seem subtle about it and seems excited.
The "flirting" lasted less than a couple of seconds. It is not as if he he was begging the alien chicks for their numbers.
@Joel Walker He`s an unaltered clone of his dad,not a machine. In Episode II,aside from when he was acting for Obi-Wan and the Kaminoans he was excited in almost every scene.He adopted the more serious demeanor to cope with his grief after his dad Jango was beheaded by Mace Windu,justifying his resentment towards the Jedi Order in the Original Trilogy.
Aspie Media I mean if you remember Boba just scored double pay on one of the highest bounties in the galaxy in a while. Vader paid him for capturing Solo and then Jabba paid him to keep him. On top of that the last jedi at the time was about to be executed. So his career and bane of existence was about to end at once. So it would make sense if he were to get arrogant af. The fact that Boba killed a lot of jedi and gained a reputation in doing so and the fact that clones of him made the jedi go nearly extinct and the fact that he was super influential in killing off the last jedi is a lot to your ego and life. He was completing his lifes destiny and could end it with being the most rich dude in the galaxy.

It's not out of character for him to flirt at all. We actually know very little of his character but he does come off as cocky and confident so it's easy to think he'd flirt.

Daniel Logan is still passable as a young Temuera Morrison, and he even grew into the precise same height as Morrison. That's Fate if I ever saw it. But will _they_ see it? That's always the problem.
WanagiAkicita yeah, it's strange that they got a 5' 7" guy to play a 6' 0" character. I always thought he wasn't truly six foot as he looked shorter than Obi-Wan who is 5' 10", and when I looked up temoura's height, my suspicions were confirmed.
Bullock was a couple inches taller than Morrison, but it's probably canon now that Boba Fett is Morrison's height, and Logan matches it pretty close. I looked it up and Logan's already playing Boba Fett in a new tv series that's coming out next year called Star Wars Underworld.

Great video. I was a kid when Boba Fett started popping up here and there, BEFORE The Empire Strikes Back, in the form of a special mail-order figure and an animated short shown during the Holiday Special. I was one of the kids who opened my Boba Fett box and was perplexed by why it did NOT have a missile firing backpack! Boba is so very over-rated these days because he has been run into the ground by the Expanded Universe, but back then, he was really cool and mysterious and we all were fascinated by his banged up armor and scalps which suggested a lot of past action. People who didn't grow up during these early days will never understand why we love Boba Fett! You just had to be there.

I love how many concept arts are reused in other star wars media like boba fetts original mask concepts at 0:30 which obi wan later used in the clone wars when he was pretending to be a bounty hunter

Im not a Star Wars fan, I'm a Boba Fett fan; i really don't want a standalone film for the character to be honest and would rather he didn't get ruined. The only Fett movie i want to see is a Shadows of the Empire live adaption; perhaps from his perspective. That was a Boba story right there.

Gustavo Perez it wouldn't really be disney that would be in charge of it, they're in charge of putting someone in charge of it which they usually do a good job of... and as far as them meddling in it, look at rogue one... the director of RO was scared that one day, someone from Disney would walk in and say "you can kill all the characters" and they would need to add some stupid scene with Jyn and Guy #1 alive afterwards but that day never came, and I think that speaks volumes of how they're attacking their standalones... they're pretty much letting them do their own thing under a basic "stick to what's already been said and make it make sense" which I think is the perfect way to do it... and with what's already canon with Boba they can essentially do anything they want to do with it, and as long as the person at the helm understands why boba took off as a character then there's no reason it wouldn't be good.
in which case, make the movie follow Dash Rendar (played by Chris Pratt ideally), but focus on Fett on the run as in the game itself

Despite the controversy about boba flirting with twilek sluts I think it adds to his character. He's like a pimp ass bounty Hunter and booty Hunter. I'd say that was a good call for Lucas and I don't say that very often
They weren't sluts! They were exotic dancers, most likely slaves sold to Jabba.

The showdown with Cad Bane in the Clone Wars episode would have resulted in the distinctive dent on Boba's helmet. Caused by Bane's gunfire.
All these classic designs from the 70s and early 80s still hold up to this day with only little to no modification to modernize it to current standard. Unlike most sci-fi/superhero designs that constantly need to be redesigned here and there to keep up with time.

The first Boba Fett toy was 3 3/4 inch and was a mail away special that was promoted by the cartoon short in 1978s Star Wars Holiday Special. My figure carry case had a spot for this figure, with a picture of an early prototype figure. This same early prototype would appear on some figure card backs advertising the offer. I remember being disappointed in the figure when it arrived, as it looked different and the missile did not fire as promised. Still, he became my favorite toy and his ship was the original white TIE Fighter from Kenner, lol! Ah, to be 8 years old again! Just prior to the release of The Empire Strikes Back, Boba became available in stores and the 12 inch figure was released.

Hmmm. The voice change wasn't necessary, but it's not bad. Sure, he's a clone, but that doesn't mean his voice will develop the exact same way with the exact same accent as his dad, Jango (Temuera Morrison). Voices and accents are shaped by environment. The only consistent part is how deep the voice is. So with that said the original voice was perfectly fine.
Well, all clones have the exact same voice regardless of what planet they are deployed. I think it makes more sense if he has the same voice as Jango

@@vito3608 , clones did not last long. Boba lived an entire life and the way he speaks could change based on where or who he interacts with. Changing his voice in Empire was silly and pointless.

I have been enjoying your videos but I must correct you on the subject of the Kenner Boba Fett Action Figure that was cancelled. The film footage you show is the 12" version and while that figure did have a removable "Grappling Hook", it was the 3.75" version with the "Rocket Fire" feature that was promised but never made. It is thought some 100 unpainted L & J slot versions of this collector's holy grail exist and can fetch $150,000 if original white box is included. Sadly, my 12" Boba Fett with grappling hook is worth only a tiny fraction.

I actually found Boba Fetts's death slightly disturbing, just the kinda randomness to it, it gave it almost a "final destination" vibe, and that he was put in a situation he had no control over and suffered a grueling death being ingested. I will say I wish he had more lines/interaction with other characters, He had such an intimidating yet cool and futuristic look to him, and that he was following the crew it seems like the whole time, would've been nice to see him in the process of tracking them down or something.
I don't have a problem with Boba flirting because Jango could easily be cast as a lady's man after how charming he was in Clones. Boba is an unaltered clone of him, afterall.

It doesn't buddy. In an official canon book 'Aftermath' it hints at him surviving. Mandalorian armour that's described as looking like it "has been through hell and back" is found in a Jawa Sandcrawler.

Too true dude. On the flipside though, I can't see a Jawa (or anyone) getting into the Sarlacc to scavenge without getting caught up themselves. No one escapes it apparently which means if they did have that armour they'd of acquired it after he flew out. So that at the very least offers a hint of hope.
The Disney canon is crap anyhow, so just ignore it and stick to the old stuff.

"A New Hope" Wasn't released in 1977...it was called "Star Wars" until Empire came around...
You fight Boba Fett on Shadows of the Empire, a meanwhile game of the Strikes Back. There's also comics from that so it is personal canon to many. Should've mentioned that.
