jeremy bulloch played boba fett in the scene where luke first gets to cloud city, but he also plays the imperial officer in that same scene. he remains to be the only person to play two characters in the same scene in the entire original trilogy

Actually the scene where Boba walks with Vader and Lando when Vader was going to face Luke. There Boba Fett was not played by Bulloch. He was there played by John Morton.

Boba was originally meant to be a "super trooper". So basically the original death trooper. But after they made the first outfit they ran out of budget and just painted the originaly white suit to what we know today

@@Eitan470 why's that? Not all Mandalorian armour is pure Beskar and there's nothing to suggest Bobas is. Also we see Din Djarins first set of armour getting destroyed and plenty of Mandalorians getting killed in TCW. A suit of pure beskar is very rare.
The 1994 trading card, were based on the old lore of Boba Fett, where he were a disgraced Lawman Jaster Mereel that changed his name to Boba Fett. At that time he were not human or clone. That were retconned with the Jango approach
Here's a Boba Fett fact for you: while watching the geonosis areana execution (before the jedi showed up) Boba wanted the beasts to kill Obi-Wan (who he didn't like) didn't care what happened to Anakin (who he considered a wannabe jedi) and wanted Padmae to survive because he thought she was buetiful and imagined his mother might have looked like her (or something like that. It's been awhile since I read the book that's in)

ok got one.....the holiday special was not the first appearance of Boba Fett (he was cgi'ed into that scene in a new hope during special edition). He appeared in a 1978 parade. It was during the San Anselmo Country Fair parade. I guess it was like the macy's thanksgiving day parade in terms of stuff featured but George Lucas had Darth Vader walk during it with a then unknown armored character. You can find photos. the prade was in september 1978 which before the special aried

I think it is amazing that the guy who would one day become the face of Boba Fett was introduced as his father because it was in a prequel. I feel like it could've been always planned for him to take over the role of Boba (They did redub all of the original Boba's lines.)
First appearance of Boba Fett as an adult without his helmet happened in the Dark Horse comic book Star Wars Tales #18 in 2003. Somebody just couldn't wait to do this after Attack of the Clones came out, apparently.

Fact you need to know concerning #6. The reason the spring loaded rocket was changed was because in 1978 or 1979, a child choked to death on a very similar spring loaded rocket from a Battlestar Galactica Viper toy. That toy was also later altered and no more spring loaded rockets of that kind were allowed on the toy market again.

We didn’t spend 40 years wondering if he survived, the Expanded universe confirmed his survival, he had a big story afterwards like coming to terms with Solo, dealing with his own ageing and so on,
The Expanded Universe is no longer canon. It was litterly rebranded as "Legends". Sound familiar?

7:08 I can agree wearing a Mando helm the main issue is the mist from your breath that screws with your vision. Some medieval helms had breaths which are small holes to allow for better air circulation. Would love to see a mando helm with that feature. At least for the sake of vision.

Medieval helmets didn't have glass or plastic that would be fogging up.

Another fact: Boba's armor was orginally meant to be armor for a bunch of super stormtroopers, but this idea was shut down but there was one prototype made and then it was Boba fett

I have a rather interesting fact about Boba Fett. Aside from being the best character in any franchise, he was the origin of so many things in the Star Wars universe. An example being, he was supposed to wear Jaig Eyes on his helmet in The Empire Strikes Back, which would have been their first appearance. Nowadays, they are instantly recognizable on Captain Rex's helmet.
I just got this doubt, was the figure released after or before the comic trilogy Star Wars Infinities? ‘Cause in that one, on the what if of The Empire Strikes Back, Boba Fett is chilling menacingly on Lando’s office with his helmet off and looking like Jango, with the scar and hair and all
Was that released before or after Star Wars Tales #18?
The issue #18 was released on December 24, 2003, while the series of Infinities: Empire Strikes Back ran its last issue on November 20, 2002, though all issues were compiled and reprinted as an omnibus in 2003.
Therefore, the Episode 5 infinities preceded the tale. That being said, considering none of the alternate universe issues were connected to the old Expanded Universe anyway, not every detail in his face can be considered canon appearance per se. Even his Fett Legacy figure with white head cloth is not the most accurate so far. I guess we depend on a flashback sequence in another Fett Book season later on, or his face being officially revealed in other media, though he’d either be Temuera Morrison or the more matured Daniel Logan, with or without shaved head
@@valthenvega2434 To be fair, none of the stories in Tales were canon, either, until issue #21-24, so neither the infinity nor the tales appearances were canon. Still, he didn't stipulate his first canon appearance without his helmet on, so his appearance in infinities would still count as the first!
The sarlac pit doesn't have a mouth on the release of return of the Jedi that is why the sarlac ate a whole sand crawler but how did the sand crawler fit in the hole?
You pointed out the "only in the Special Edition" proviso in the New Hope scene but you overlooked one for '80s (i.e. pre-SE) comic:
In the original non-SE/un-CGI'd Return of the Jedi the Sarlacc didn't have that beak, it was just a big butthole in the ground; so the sandcrawler could've easily just driven off the edge and fallen down into it.
I saw the Star Wars movies in theaters when they first came out. My youngest brother was conceived when us kids were sent to the movies to see "A New Hope".
At the theater, there was a sense of excitement in the air - because there had never been a movie like this before. The closet would've been 2001: A Space Odyssey - which is paced very slow and not what I consider and action/adventure movie.

Any one else recall this? I don't know where this came from but I can clearly remember all us kids playing with the action figures after "The Empire Strikes Back" and discussing this notion in great detail.

I saw this trading card that revealed what Boba's face origionally looked like; an alien elf with white spikey hair, fangs, and red spines for eyebrows.
In the first 'Dark Forces' video game that introduced the Dark Troopers later seen in the Mandalorian series, Boba Fett attempts to trap Kyle Katarn at the end of the 'Imperial City' mission to be then killed from Katarn's hands.
The trading card kind of reminds me of the vampiric species of Star Wars but without the whiskers/feeding tendrils

Actually we saw Boba's face in Empire Strikes Back, the empire captain / soldier that was with Lando is actually the same actor as Boba.
I know one strange fact from "Under the Helmet: The Legacy of Boba Fett": In The Empire Strikes Back, someone recommended Boba Fett's actor to wear cowboy spurs, to make that interesting noise when he walks, he ended up wearing it, you could hear it in the movie. The actor even still has the spurs.
Rare Boba Fett fact: If he ever was to rule, he'd rule with respect, not fear.
That comic...that comic is the reason I welcome the New Canon...Legends got so confused and complex, there is no way they could bring back some of the most favorite characters or use certain locations if we still had the Legends world.
