seriously doubt Boba Fett blew up his father's helmet in the Clone Wars. First off, the Mandalorian Iron would not have exploded like that. Second off, it was a cherished possession. It was most definitely a replica.

Beskar is not indestructible, just extremely resistant. And an explosion directly on or in the helmet would of course destroy it.

@@DeltaArc1136Although, for what I’ve seen, Din Djarin’s pure-beskar armor has had no dent or crack near explosions from S1, nor did it yield to the intense pressure of a rancor bite.
The explosion of the helmet would really need to have a very strong thermal capacity to melt and destroy the helmet apart in a matter of seconds, almost hotter than a lightsaber. But with that, Anakin and Mace would’ve been obliterated along with any debris in the way, as much as the helmet being totally destroyed instead of a half chunk remaining.
If anything, unless suspiciously escaping among the fire, Moff Gideon is proof of this since he and his armor weren’t seen again after the massive explosion of season 3

There was a comic that said it one point he wanted to serve the same mandalorians his father did and became a grunt and had his armor painted the way it was. But he also got married during that time and his commander raped his wife. Boba killed him and burnt down that organization. His wife left him because he was a mandalorian outcast. But he wears the symbols and armor colors as a reminder. That's also why when jabba gives leia to him in rotj he treats her with respect. He protects her from rape and gives her his bed. Boba fett is the true goat.

I wish they explained the Mandalorian civil wars more. In canon we only had two sides. The new mandalorians and Death watch.
Open season had those 2 plut the true mandalorians. Yet The Mandalorian implied there were even more factions to which I belive Jango belong.
My guess is that the true slipt was the peaceful new mandalorians and warrior clans The Watch who in turned had different factions:Death watch, children of the watch and what ever group Jango belonged to. Yet in both clone wars and rebels we are only introduced to Death Watch mandalorians.

I think it's possible that he had several suits of armor. A mixture of pieces he accumulated over time. I think when Fett was younger in legends , he possibly used a suit from jaster mereel when he was a journeyman and used his name as an alias (esb). Also, Jango's early set during the mandalorian civil war (rotj).
I think it's possible that he could have used jangos silver and blue in his early career and retired it make his own suit. To have it restored and kept in honor of him. Rarely using it.

Interesting if it is still listed as Durasteel even in the latest Visual Dictionary. I have seen it listed as Durasteel in the old dictionaries. But even I would credit this to be the usual sloppiness of the Disney's Story Team as they screw up all the time.
Yes my pic is Legends and I still absolutely love the game's story and wish it remains Canon. His healthbar was weak in that game even if it was meant to be super tough, then again that could just be game mechanics. However, overall I'm sorta divided. I grew up with Legends and obviously respect and love most of it. However there were a few neat things that Disney Canon added that I preferred. Lately Disney has been screwing up everything to the point that I'm looking back at Legends fondly.
So now I consider myself a 'head canon' guy. If one side has the better story it's canon for me. So Bounty Hunter from the Legends game is head canon for me. Example of the opposite is I absolutely prefer the Disney Canon Imperial Palace over the pyramid or skyscraper Palace of Legends. I just think it's so delightfully evil to convert the Jedi Temple into the Sith Palace. Ultimate middle finger to the Jedi Order.

Dave Filoni said we would have seen how the green armor was made, were the green yellow and red came from. I’m guessing he mined for some of the armor, while the rest of it was bits and pieces off of, Mauls mando super commandos. The jango fett helmet piece that Mace picked up was probably fused with more beskar to form boba’s helmet. I think the green armor was made to look like Jasters, but I thimk Boba’s fetts armor is mode of several different pieces. I think he pieced his fathers armor together during the canceled clone wars arc, finding the armor pieces from from people that knew his father, like retired bounty hunters. Cad Bane himself had mando gauntlets.

I agree. Jango obviously would have had a full kit stashed away for his son to wear, fully intending to still be alive into Boba's adulthood.
That spare kit was from Jango's old days with Jaster's faction so that's why it is shares the color scheme. I also think it highly likely that Jango would have taught Boba about the civil war against Death Watch and would have respected his father's wish for Boba to carry that sigils of his lost heritage.
This also might explain why Boba never bothers to defend "being Mandalorian" because he knows these Mandos he's running into are basically descendants of Death Watch, so his father's factions ideas of what made a Mandalorian wouldn't match theirs anyway.
Rather than deal with circular "you're not a real Mando" arguments He just bypasses it altogether.
"Never said I was [what you call Mandalorian]"
"I owe my allegiance to no one"
[None of your tribal squabbles mean anything to me]
Instead he just goes for right by inheritance and the willingness to fight for it.

I am curious on your take on the differences in jetpacks. I know that between ESB (green) & ROTJ (blue/red/yellow/white) the new comics have Boba stopping off because Han is “melting” and he needs to get him fixed else he will die. During that stopover he fights as “Jango” in an all-black painted suit which apparently can easily wash off. The change from green to multicolor between the two. Interestingly though, Cobb Vanth has the multicolor jetpack which is also seen in The Mandalorian/The Tragedy. I can only assume that Boba repaints it green when he restores his armor.

    • @TwinEnginesOfDestruction

jango was a mandalorian, but it appears at some point, he became disilluisoned with the culture and went off to do his own thing. keep in mind he was taken in by the mando army, which they all ended up killed except for him, losing everyone he knew. after the mandalorian civil wars, mandalore became a pacifist world, outlawing its warrior ways, under the rule of Duchess Satine Kryse(Bo Katans sister), so warriors like jango were no longer welcome in their society. after the clone wars, mandalore tried saying jango wasnt mandalorian but it was just shady politicians saying this(prime minister Almec).

Mandalorian says differently. However, i've always thought he had his own armour, which is actually mostly bescar (ulike his father's) he pretty much wanted to complete his fathers legacy, by supporting the ones who were apposed to the jedi, so he got beskar somehow (everything in Star Wars is based on "somehow" deal with it, somehow the rebels got the deathstar plans, somehow, somehow the Stormtroopers miss, jedi can use the force, stfu) because he wanted to have revenge, then order 66 happened and he kinda farted that...

You basically used outdated, non-canon comic books and novels to prove Boba Fetts armor isnt the same as his fathers, aside from the fact it's pointless to argue such a thing it also completely undermines the story arc boba went through.
That armor belonged to his father, the only positive role model in his life, his one and only idol. It would make no sense whatsoever for him to use a different set of armor especially since Jango himself told Boba the armor will one day be his.
This video is complete biased garbage lmao 😂
