My mom 2as a twin. I remember seeing a picture of my grandma holding each twin girl on her knees and she looked like she had been run over by an 18 wheeler. I asked her how come and she said "you take care of 2 babies with no electricity, no running water, no disposable diapers and have to make your own baby food and let me see how sun shiny you turn out." Those 2 girls turned out to be a handful. 😄❤

My daughter had twins almost 15 years ago. She never had any morning sickness, but her babies wanted to come early, and she had to have the same "stitching up" you had. They were born naturally, a boy and a girl. They were small, both just at 5 lbs., but have done well all their lives. Twins are so special. It's almost like one mind in two bodies at times.

I was told for many years that I couldn't have babies. At 38 years old God blessed me with my son. I, too, was high risk, but so worth it. He is my reason for waking up each day. 💙🙏💙

Being a grandma is the best!! When they say it’s so different when you have a grandbaby, nothing truer has ever been said. When your raising your own kids, you love them to death but you’re so busy being a mom making sure they behave and they’re going to school and they are safe that you really don’t have time to enjoy all the special moments, but when that grandbaby comes along, it is a love and joy like no other you truly get to enjoy every single moment and yes, wind him up and then send them home ❤😂

I am the mom of 2 sets of natural twins, 9 years and 4 days apart. First girls then boys. We purposely waited to have a third child and when my doctor told me that I was pregnant with the second set my poor husband about passed out! We were excited. It was boys and we are older, more confident and better off financially. We brought them home and I was told that in the next year I would need a hysterectomy. I went to the hospital for my blood work to have the hysterectomy on the boys first birthday. I was pregnant!! We were so worried that it would be twins but it wasn’t. After all that careful planning we had 3 children in 19 months. Both sets of my twins I was blessed to be able to carry to term. The girls were 5 lbs 12 and 5lbs 15 the boys were 5:15 and 6lbs 1 ounce. 🎉They have all been a huge blessing but it was tough.

She was as healthy as a horse. Her only issue was how large her stomach had gotten. Thank you for the memories. I was pregnant with my daughter at the same time. Oh, to be young again. It's interesting, Tipper, that you noticed differences in personality even before they were born, and that those personality traits still hold true. I never would have known that personality is so deeply ingrained, right from the start.
Matt cracked me up when talking about grandkids; "twist 'em up and send 'em home". That may be the next chapter of the Pressley family. I've heard that twins run in families. Wouldn't that be interesting?!!

Wow! My story is similar to yours in ways...after years of trying to have a baby and numerous problems, including surgery, I had a beautiful daughter born by C-section. I took a fertility pill to conceive...the chances of having twins or more was very real. I call my daughter my precious gift from our Heavenly Father...I prayed for a girl with dark hair and blue eyes and that is what God gave me. Her father was sure I would have a boy. She is now 53 years old and the love of my life, a wife, mother and grandmother. She and her husband with their youngest son live in southeast Tennessee, across the mountain from y'all...at one time they lived in Fayetteville, NC and Enterprise, AL...serving the Lord and doing so well. Your girls are a delight, love watching them interact with each other on their videos. Thank you for sharing your story.

It's only been a few days ago that I ran across your channel and your daughters' channel. I appreciate the work you are doing in celebrating family heritage, mountain life and music, the old ways, and the spiritual aspects of your lives. So much of what I have watched so far seems so familiar to me and really rings true, as I myself was raised by good parents in a family of honest, hardworking, spiritual people. We never had a lot of money growing up but Mama and Daddy worked hard to provide and loved us even harder. And they made sure to always teach us right (even though maybe I didn't always listen like I should have). I believe you and your husband have done a fine job of raising two wonderful young ladies.

Thank you for sharing your story of your daughter's Katie and Corey. God sure was with you when you carried your precious daughters they are both beautiful. I have a Katie, and she will be 26 this year. I had teenage boys 13,15,18 When I found out I was pregnant. I had Hyperemesis gravidarum as well. I had to have a Picc line put in. I was on three cancer nausea meds And was wide awake. So when you were telling your story Tipper My heart went out to you I It's so bad for you to be so sick. When I found out I was pregnant with my daughter, my hormones were messed up, and I was told I wouldn't be able to have anymore. I had an ultrasound done, but she curled up in a ball. I didn't know what she was, and so after she was born. When Matt was talking about Your daughter have a more of a pointed head that was my oldest was like that and I cried. My first one was ten pounds half ounce, and so having him naturally pointed his head. You, too, are the best, I love listening to your storytelling and watching the things and fun that your family has. The Lord is so good. Bless you all bunches today.

This is a fantastic re-count. I chuckled when Matt said "Still is" about the adjustment to twins. Its great to have such caring medical professionals. Only have only Daughter. Wife's doctor was fine until after birth, then did not seem to care when problems, it was my Military Chaplain and his wife, who helped out, and the good Folks from our church, along with community care staff. Wow Tipper, you could have been telling my story almost. I was blessed to have one child as I had endometriosis. I ended up having a total hysterectomy at 23. I was so sick the whole time I was pregnant. I thought I would name her Mylanta because I drank so much of that stuff. lol I'm so glad God knows what we need. I was always hanging out at the horse stable while I was pregnant. My mom told my grandma "she will probably have that baby at the stable" and my grandma without skipping a beat said," Well Jesus was born in a stable." hahaha What a wonderful story!

I have enjoyed listening to y’all’s story about having twins. I have twin granddaughters. They were born at 24 weeks. The doctors didn’t give my son and his wife no hope of their survival. The girls and God have proved the doctors were wrong. One of the twins has special needs, and Cerebral Palsy on her left side, but she has overcome a lot the doctors said she wouldn’t ever do. The doctors said she would never walk, never talk that she would be blind and wouldn’t ever be able to do anything. She is not blind, she can walk and talk. She can run and keep up with her sister. She and God have again proved the
doctors wrong. They started school at age 3 riding the little short school bus to classes for premature babies for 2 years. Then they were moved to a different school to start Pre-K. They are 10 years old now and they are in separate 5th grade class. One is in a special needs class and the one is in a regular class. They both sing in the youth choir at their church

I have an identical twin sister and we have always been best friends! It's a wonderful relationship. My Pawpaw called us This-in and That-in! We were born 7 weeks premature and didn't walk til we were 2 years old. My Mom had our brother when we were 19 months old! Three babies that needed alot of care...truly a handful! Your girls are very beautiful young ladies.

What a wonderful gift from God!! Ya'll bring so much joy to us as you share your life, but I think this video has been the best so far!! I laughed so hard when ya'll was telling about the ultra sound and when you said ya'll didnt put the babies in the car seat right. Tipper you sure had a rough time, Oh my the lady screaming would have terrified me if I had heard that when I was in labor. My paternal grandmother is a twin, they were born in Oct. 1918. I remember being so scared as a new first time mom, I can't imagine bringing two home. Loved the photos you shared on screen. Ya'll sure was and are such a cute couple!!

Y'all made me laugh out loud - when Matt said "we're having a litter of something..." so funny! I LOVE your ultrasound story. I can't imagine being so young and being told twins are on the way. But you two are such wonderful parents - your girls are a testament to that. My husband now watches y'all, too. He always says when he hears Matt talk and tell stories, that he reminds him of all of his friends from work - guys he really misses now that he's retired. So thanks to you both for sharing. God bless you and your family!

It was wonderful to hear the story of Corie and Katie's birth! I feel so old because when my son was born in 1975, there was no such thing as an ultra sound so I didn't know whether I was having a girl or a boy until he was born, the old fashioned way! My son is quite a bit older than the twins, so things were a lot different in the old days! Thank you all so much for sharing with us.Tipper, you look so much like Corie and Katie in the picture where you're holding them in the wheelchair!

Endometriosis and all that goes along with it is so much better understood today than it was years ago. I started having symptoms at 16 and finally at 40 had to have a hysterectomy and in between another 5 surgeries. You are so very fortunate to have been able to have children.

Twins are too good to be true! I had twins in 1990. I didn't have any morning sickness but had to go to 4 hours per day bed rest when I was at 4 months. I was working in the oilfield as a gas plant/oil well operator so I went on maternity early. They were fraternal boys. Oh my how I loved those babies!!! The first year was rough but I didn't care!!! I lost one when he was 19 and my heart aches everyday! I love stories about twins!
I was afraid someone was going to steal one of the boys when I was in the hospital. They wouldn't let me have both because of the C section so I made sure I had one of them constantly.
It looks like Katie looks like mom and Corie looks like dad. Thank you for sharing the story of your twins!

I have a twin Brother and we are very close and always have been. My Mother was 40 and my Dad was 44 when we were born . They had 2 grown children already out of the house and married and an eight yr old when we were born. They always said they didn't know what they would have done without us. We had wonderful Parents and was raised in a wonderful Christian home. It was so funny watching Matt when you were asking him questions he didn't have a clue. I laughed so hard. Thanks for the video. Now cook us up something good to eat.

It really is amazing how their personalities are already evident to a certain degree in utero. My daughter would hide her face or turn her back to “the light” when we did ultrasounds. And to this day, when someone she doesn’t know approaches her, she turns her face into me before looking back at them. And in utero, she had her nose in the placenta cuddled up to it the whole time. And to this day, when she sleeps she wants to be skin to skin/under you when she sleeps. It’s amazing.

My kids are just shy of 15 months apart & we've been asked their entire lives if they were twins.
