This beautiful little girl had such a beautiful soul. It was literally written all over her bright smile and beautiful eyes. I’d like to tell you both that I am 45 years old, but when I was 15 my heart stopped for 3 minutes. So I know where she went. From the moment her soul departed this earth, she was not alone. The feeling of joy, happiness and well-being exudes from every square inch. A peace so pure and fulfilling that I have never felt it’s like since. I’m crying with you, I can’t imagine how grief stricken you are. You had her for a little while and she is whole and well and perfect in heaven now. She is watching you from heaven. My mom had 6 pregnancies but only got to raise 3 children because 3 died. It is so difficult to live with these sorrows and you ask God why do these terrible things have to happen. You will never forget her. You will always carry her in your heart.

I love how this Dad put it, “we got to carry her to the finish line.” I love that their goal was to hold and comfort their baby for as long as they were able. - it breaks my heart when parents are pressured to abort in cases like this. This is the lesson that God had in store for you in giving you such a special gift. You learned love, you learned how deep your faith is, and that God IS. When my son was facing a 9 hour brain surgery, I prayed to God, and told God that I knew that he was God's son, and that I was just who God chose to guide him and help him. I gave him back to God to do His will, and God was gracious and kind and gave him back to me. He's 46 now, not perfect, but strong and independent. Each child is a gift from God, and He has his reasons for each child's life. Your baby girl knew love , and safety, and gentleness, and now she will watch over you and your son forever. What a sad but beautiful story. Thank you for sharing Blakely with all of us; she was a happy baby and joined all the little children that sit with our Lord and Savior. My son died nearly 38 years ago, at the age of 3, from a sudden brain hemorrhage. God gifted me with a few visits from my son, I think to ease my pain, so I know there is a heaven and I know my son was made well and whole again. When my mother was passing away (several years after my son's death) she saw my son and was able to tell us that he was waiting for her. There are blessings amidst the sorrows. God always walks with us. Wishing you blessings with Tripp and any future children you may have.

@Elle Van Romero I find myself feeling sorry for you, for you to feel that God is sadistic because this child was born with a defect that caused her to die in infancy. The truth of the matter is that every parent's child is going to face death one day, whether it be in infancy, or during childhood, or as an adult. If you are a parent and you're still living when it happens to your child, it will be your turn to say goodbye. God had to watch His only child die when he was just 33 years old. Was He being sadistic because He turned His back so he wouldn't see His dear son tortured, and die? It was for a reason..... you and me and this whole sick, sad world.....our salvation. We may not know God's reasons for everything that happens, but I know for sure that He loved little Blakely, He loves me, and He loves you, Elle.

I love how this Dad put it, “we got to carry her to the finish line.” I love that their goal was to hold and comfort their baby for as long as they were able. - it breaks my heart when parents are pressured to abort in cases like this. Every baby deserves to be carried to the finish line, loved by their parents, comforted and for as long as possible. ❤

This is the lesson that God had in store for you in giving you such a special gift. You learned love, you learned how deep your faith is, and that God IS. When my son was facing a 9 hour brain surgery, I prayed to God, and told God that I knew that he was God's son, and that I was just who God chose to guide him and help him. I gave him back to God to do His will, and God was gracious and kind and gave him back to me. He's 46 now, not perfect, but strong and independent. Each child is a gift from God, and He has his reasons for each child's life. Your baby girl knew love , and safety, and gentleness, and now she will watch over you and your son forever. Thank you for sharing your journey of faith and love.

What a sad but beautiful story. Thank you for sharing Blakely with all of us; she was a happy baby and joined all the little children that sit with our Lord and Savior. My son died nearly 38 years ago, at the age of 3, from a sudden brain hemorrhage. God gifted me with a few visits from my son, I think to ease my pain, so I know there is a heaven and I know my son was made well and whole again. When my mother was passing away (several years after my son's death) she saw my son and was able to tell us that he was waiting for her. There are blessings amidst the sorrows. God always walks with us. Wishing you blessings with Tripp and any future children you may have.

@Elle Van Romero I find myself feeling sorry for you, for you to feel that God is sadistic because this child was born with a defect that caused her to die in infancy. The truth of the matter is that every parent's child is going to face death one day, whether it be in infancy, or during childhood, or as an adult. If you are a parent and you're still living when it happens to your child, it will be your turn to say goodbye. God had to watch His only child die when he was just 33 years old. Was He being sadistic because He turned His back so he wouldn't see His dear son tortured, and die? It was for a reason..... you and me and this whole sick, sad world.....our salvation. We may not know God's reasons for everything that happens, but I know for sure that He loved little Blakely, He loves me, and He loves you, Elle.

As an expecting mother, I have to say I’m glade this baby girl only experienced the best part of this world which is the most pure love from her parents. I’m glade she never has to experience the cruelty and the negativity of this society and at the same time dealing with some form of physical pain. This story made my eyes teary. Always hate to see those little ones pass away, especially after I have become a mom myself.
