    The second rider was spectacular. He truly mastered his seat, I really hope that he can mantain it.

    The first horse seemed mostly content with its work.
    The second horse seems to have back problems, in my opinion. The whole time, during the ride, it was carrying its tail to right side, which - every osteopath/physio-therapist will tell you - is an indication for back-problems.
    The third horse was swishing its tail the whole time and the ears were pointed downwards very often. There are many studies from several universities that says both of these behaviours are signs of acute stress in a horse. And if I would have to desribe this ride, I would say that I found it not very harmonic.
    Just to point out: I am not against dressage-riding! Dressage is for the horse (to improve his health and conformation) and not the horse for the dressage (prices, fame, etc.).

      A horse helps itself during passage or piaff with a tail. So that point was pointless...

      Wenn Pferde mit dem Schweif schlagen zeigt dies meist eine Schmerzreaktion an, welche durch den Sporeneinsatz ausgelöst wird. Reiten mit Sporen ist Tierquälerei. Sporen und Kandare sind Folterinstrumente und müssen verboten werden.
