      Thank you!! & that's great. I have one as well. We actually put a loc on the spot and it fell off 3 weeks after establishment. So now that it is growing back, I won't be putting another loc there. lol

    Your locs look great, healthy and vibrant! I have a few Questions? I have thin strands or fine strands as well. I also had some breakage on one side so a lot of new hair is growing in. If I decide to get locs right now, what’s done with new growth that comes in between the locs when a Re tightening is needed? Did you have to deal with this issue? Also how many locs did you get? I’m trying to figure out how many are needed for the look I want to achieve. Thank you!

    • @TheRealKylaB
      @TheRealKylaB  3 года назад

      They just clean up your parts and interlock the new growth into existing locs in order to maintain your grid. If yours talking about strands growing in between your locs then yes. I’ve had that. But I feel like most people do.
      I got as many locs as I could safely get. That’s what I asked for. When I counted them after the fact is was like 390 something. I only counted once a months ago.
      But hair density & loc size determine the final look of your locs.

    Hi how do you prevent lint build up?

    • @TheRealKylaB
      @TheRealKylaB  3 года назад

      I'm working on figuring that out. I'm starting to collect link in the back rows. I figure it's mostly from clothing.
      But generally, I tie my hair/ cover my hair whenever I can. I have stain & silk pillowcases, just in case the head tie or bonnet fall off ( or if I simply fall asleep without wearing them). But lint is inevitable with locs. I'm just trying my best to minimize it.

    Are you going to let your ends lock? How are you feeling about your ends not being as curly as they were in the beginning?

    • @TheRealKylaB
      @TheRealKylaB  3 года назад +1

      I’m leaning towards letting them lock. I actually didn’t want curly ends when I got them in the beginning.

    • @MyCrwnHisGlry
      @MyCrwnHisGlry 3 года назад +1

      @@TheRealKylaB I've been locked for almost 7 months and I've been separating my ends so they won't lock. We have a similar hair texture. I'm scared I won't like my locked ends. I'm still undecided of what to do about this cause I can't keep separating these ends foreva' lol. Yours still look nice though. Decisions Decisions🤔 lol
