I want to hear your 'melody of fruits.' 😉 I remember having almond jello at so many parties when I was younger. it was always refreshing. Thanks for sharing =)✨
+Trang Nguyen Priscilla was snorting in the backgound!!! Haha, not sure if you heard some of her piggy-like snorts... we tried to edit most of it out 😂
really? I hope you try it and make the video!!! tembleque is a traditional dessert usually we eat on christmas. Also we make "arroz con dulce" and i think you will love that recipe too that is made with coconut, rice, sugar and spices.
Do you mean a "medley of fruits"? I prefer "melody"! The idea of using tinned fruits for this really appeals to me; although I generally eat fresh or frozen fruit, I retain a great love for canned fruit cocktail from grade school cafeteria lunches of yore ; ) Thanks for posting!
+hadroncollidier It was definitely one of our favourite desserts growing up! We just have regular boring jobs aside from RUclips but it would be wonderful to be able to create recipes full-time on RUclips one day!
I know a similar recipe but its without milk and you put the fruits in the jello mix before cooling. but i dont think my method is asian, i learned it from my grandma (we are german) but yours looks delicous too. i definitely going to try your recipe
Looks good but I personally wouldn't want to use caned food or mix fruits that are sweet with acidic but I think one fresh type of fresh fruit or berries would be wonderful ! thanks for the recipe :)
Looks really easy and delicious! Can you use coconut sugar or coconut nectar in place of the sugar? You both are sooo sweet! Also, where's Mom today? 😃
+beth f Yes! You can definitely use coconut sugar or nectar in place of the sugar. We sometimes use maple syrup and it also taste great! Thanks so much... but our fans are much sweeter than us! 😘
+The Kale Sandwich Show Thanks for responding. Is your husband's Mom okay? She's the cutest too and, I love when she assists or is included in your vlogs as well! 😚
Thank you, I'm going to try to make this for my kids! Questions on modifications… Do I have to use almond extract? Can I substitute different types of plant-based milks?
+Heather Vallentyne Moreau Hello! Yes, feel free to use any milk alternative of your choice, the jello will set just fine. Also, you can experiment with different type of flavour extracts to your liking... even vanilla would be delicious! Thanks for watching! :D
wtf this is THE favorite dessert I had growing up in dim sum places - they haven't made this in California restaurants in a LONGGGGG time since I was little. I know because I look for it wherever I go:( I love this SO much but I only like it with the canned fruit :) u guys have similar tastes to me hehe
+hammypie Yes!!! This is THE dessert!!! We also always had it at weekend dim sum but it slowly disappeared off the menus in Toronto as well. Classic with canned fruit... it's the best!

+jaztalksfood Canned lychee tastes amazing with almond jello!!! Your mom is cool! ✌️
Yes Please. If only I had agar powder! Being one ingredient short makes me crazy. ✌️
+Lucretia Anderson Haha! Yes we hate when that happens... 😜
That looks so great. I'm wondering if I can make other flavor mixtures with the agar agar.... Hmmm. Thinking cap on 🎩
Absolutely, get creative!

+tamcon72 Haha! Yes, a medley not melody... 😂 Although the flavours of this dessert do work together harmoniously! 😜
I grew up eating this dish. Thanks for vegan eyesing it. Im a new subscriber... What do you guys do for a living, if you dont mind me asking?
+hadroncollidier It was definitely one of our favourite desserts growing up! We just have regular boring jobs aside from RUclips but it would be wonderful to be able to create recipes full-time on RUclips one day!

+Razilation Yeah, we've seen that before too... it's like a jello ring with fruits inside right? May we will try that one day, it looks very nice! 👍
for agar, it's important to make sure to dissolve the agar powder in liquid before bringing it to the heat. just to make that clear for u guys
Mmmmmmmmm
niceeeeeeeeee

+Nessa Rossini Haha! Yesss! Us and our dogs & bunnies would gladly accept you and your dog & cats into the Kale Sandwich club! ✌️
Do you think it would work to used a different sweetener. Like stevia or maple syrup? I'd love to give this a try :) Thanks for sharing!
absolutely, we use maple syrup from time to time.
Thank you, I'm going to try to make this for my kids! Questions on modifications… Do I have to use almond extract? Can I substitute different types of plant-based milks?

Is this a Thai dessert?
+jellybeanz A classic Chinese dessert but with the coconut milk it does taste Thai! It's like a fusion!!!
wtf this is THE favorite dessert I had growing up in dim sum places - they haven't made this in California restaurants in a LONGGGGG time since I was little. I know because I look for it wherever I go:( I love this SO much but I only like it with the canned fruit :) u guys have similar tastes to me hehe

haha yes! I'm so going to try to make this at home. will let u know how it turns out
I started to wonder about where do you live? I saw you using a lot of Thai products here.
+พาสต้า พาสตี้ พาสตู้ Hello from Canada!!! We have an amazing local supermarket that sells a lot of imported items, we are so grateful! 😃
+The Kale Sandwich Show I noticed that my local Dollar Tree is importing more and more products from Canada! 😃
Yay!!! Ghost Tshirt!! 😄😄😄
+BarbieDaStar If you have Ghosts... 👻
I'd just use almond milk and add the almond extract.
super toööll!!
You forgot to say."And remember keep on Veganing". lol I think I spelled that wrong.
but great show as always.:-)
+Mya Lange Haha, yes! Keep on Veeganing!!! ✌️
P.S. Almost spat out my tea because of "Jello . . . Is it me you're looking for" !
+tamcon72 haha glad we could get a chuckle out of you :)
I think it's a-gar , not ah-gar
Are you guys bf and gf??
Yeah but I don't never liked cantaloupe
I like honeydew not cantaloupe
