This is true, and it's one of the reasons I like wow's mechanics. Other games have colored shape on the ground telegraphs and it pulls me out of the experience constantly. It feels too gamey.
With Grim batol they had a huge chance to make the routing in there really fun with the dragon strafing. Eliminate some mobs or damage all of them a bit, which results in a faster run?

I see that you have Frenzied/Bargain, but no Fortified or Tyrannical. I'm just curious how your feelings change compared to doing them without Fort and Tyrannical. For example, the first boss in Ara Kara has two group wide AoE damaging spells that require quite a bit of healing, especially at the higher key level. Most of my keys at 10+ have failed at this spot because the healer could not keep up. The adds ended up not being a big issue for most of my groups, but the actual boss damage was something different. This goes for the last boss, as well. There are so many overlaps and spell queing issues that will end up being very difficult for PUGs / some players. Lol@ Stonevault. We found out the hard way, as well. Those mobs do not feel good. Mists of Tirna Scithe coming back, and the maze is the same. UGH! nerf that shit, it's so tedious, and it's the healer's job 9 times out of 10, and it's complete bullshit healers have to just run around for 25% of the dungeon not getting to do damage and out ranging people to heal.

In The Stonevault, the cheese strat was already fixed. There are four vents in the room. You need to kite the boss to the one vent that's not active during that phase. It's obviously a much harder fight and puts ranged at higher risk of getting hit by the crate.
I don't think it's neccssarily a bad thing if a dps gets deleted in one shot if they don't use their defensives. It might teach dps' to use them, and as a healer it just reinforced my feeling that a lot of times when a dps dies it's their own fault - and that's better than it always being the healers fault.
man, if the spider dungeons are your favorite/the most fun, i'm genuinely thinking about just skipping this xpac or just waiting for a steep discount when blizz has had enough time to sort stuff out.

I would love for you to actually go into even more detail in the videos! They are already long so I think it’s safe to say we’re all here for the long haul but using ara-Kara for example you didn’t talk about the poison blobs on last boss or the fact you have to kill an add to get out of the puddle after avoiding the suck
Blizz really needs to fix the appearance of ground effects. Taking damage or dying from something I can't see just makes me not want to play. It's definitely a case of Blizz prioritising form over function.
Yes and that's part of what keeps people of me actually enjoying the experience of encounters. Everything from colors to sounds makes it more enjoyable.
I like ground telegraphs hard to see (or non-existent) for immersion, but with some exaggerated animation and audio cue so you know when to watch out. Spell effects can have more contrast, but don't make a shadow spell orange. Generally change the ground color over changing the spell color. I want shorter dungeons in the form of shorter timers, not 3-boss dungeons, but I probably won't do any M+ since the removal of low keys.
I remember when dragonriding released and people complained about accessibility and their response was “don’t worry we won’t put it in raids” and of course they couldn’t resist.
So my mythic raiding guild is having an m+ tournament in the first week of the season, which dungeon is around the easiest to achieve a high key? (The koordination being on point)

Grim Batol used to be the hardest in Cata, and Blizz did it justice, this is going to be frustrating and fun at the same time.

Dawnbreaker is the perfect example of how little blizzard understands what the players want. Flying in a M+ dungeon, camera blocking shit, weird RP.
the m+ keys squish was such a huge mistake :( - for pugs it just got infinitely harder to slowing build your score. Now it gets hard to get into a +2
