I got my Spot last night. I like it, for what it is, but I am not sure that this glorified alarm clock was worth $45. I do have a couple of other echo devices, so it does fit well into my ecosystem.
@@777Thibs Glad to hear it! Why do you call it a glorified alarm clock? Way cooler than most alarm clocks that don’t have Alexa in my view. What else were you expecting?
@@TecTimmy To be honest, I wanted it as an alarm clock, and to extend my voice control into the bedroom. It does both, without the ads that I believe are found on the Show devices.
@@777Thibs Yes those are definitely two main benefits of the device. I changed the display on mine to also show the current weather more prominently. Hopefully Amazon will leave the ads off this one and also tone them down on the Echo Shows. Many of my fellow tech reviewers are complaining that they have gotten to be too much.
