That is a lovely timing light you have... I have my late fathers timing light which is more than 50 years old and very basic, and perfect my 144. Great videos, keep up the good work Patrick.

Thank You, Patrick! The skill of using a timing light to check or adjust your engine's timing is slowly disappearing, in which case makes videos like this all the more valuable. I very much appreciate and look forward to all your video uploads as they are all procedures that I need to follow in order to keep my Volvos healthy and happy. Please keep these videos always available and please keep them coming... 😊 Thanks again!

Thank you for following my videos, I really appreciate it! Yes, I agree that these are old slowly disappearing technologies. And now there are no repair shops, I mean the experience of everyday repair for these cars. Mechanics who have skills and every single day repair experience retire or RIP. So you need to dive into the repair yourself. In addition, it is very difficult to find a good mechanic, so if we can, we fix everything ourselves🙂.

@@patricksgarage You are correct, it's getting harder and harder to find shops that are knowledgeable about our cars and willing to work on them. Personally, I've been told by more than one shop that they didn't want to work on my old Volvos. There are some, but they are few and far between. So you're right, we are pretty much on our own in keeping our old Volvos on the road. That's why I really appreciate your videos. Thanks again for sharing.
