Great humor this episode. Butcher shaking that baby to "start" it. Diabolical 😂 However, Hughie's delivery of that line "you played my butt like jazz... with poise and skill and willingness to improvise" is the highlight for me!
I love how they actually sort of set it up in episode 1. When Butcher asks about the nanny-cam, he asks how many nannies shake their babies.
Frenchie is polyamorous and so is Cheri.
So to them i dont think there is a problem.
I don't think Maeve would have died in the crash, remember what happened when an armored car ran into her... instead she would have died from Homelander.

you guys sound super into this show I think y'all should do more live action shows on this channel.
Basically what we've learned from this is that:
1. If you give compound V to babies, they develop supe powers when they grow up
2. If adult supes take compound V, it works like a performance enhancer, boosting their abilities, but also leaving them impaired/high.
3. If you give compound V to people who already are normal adults, it messes them up completely.
And yes, Cherie is awesome. She could have her own spin-off show on the side, and I'd watch it.

I'm a couple of episodes behind on your reactions, so you might already be up to speed on this, but y'all must have forgotten the episode where Homelander was giving Stillwell the back-handed "compliment" about being able to have a child "at her age". Re-baptism? That's Anabaptism, and breaks the rule in the Nicene Creed "we believe in one baptism for the remission of sins". It's not something you just keep doing, except maybe once to join a church which insists of adult baptism and doesn't recognise your infant baptism. The sacrament you repeat is the eucharist. Most protestant denominations recognise each other's baptisms and don't insist on another if people switch churches, but the Roman Catholic church doesn't recognise baptisms by any other denomination as valid, which is disappointing.

The really funny fact about this episode in retrospect is the fact that mostly everyone with an executive producer credit on this show is from an ethno-religious background that can not be mocked or ridiculed as much as they tried to do with christianity in this episode (or Scientism in later episodes), even if they wanted to...

11:10 Kinda cringe with the reactions. There's no "I'm not that Christian". You either are or you aren't. That's like saying you're vegan but you're not *that* vegan. The Bible is easily available for anyone to read and find out what it means to be a Christian. If you don't like some of the rules and don't want to follow them, then it's simple: don't call yourself a Christian. It isn't a buffet where you can accept some things but pass on others.
