I noticed that the only person Homelander left alive in the lab (Barbara) was the only person who didn't apologize and "forgive" him - same goes for the rest of the series with Homelander never harming the people who stand up to him like Stan Edgar and Dr. Vogulbam (the guy who made him). I think part of it may be that he seeks their approval still, but I'm not an expert
Kept alive to torture*
@@rahilamin98 yeah lmao it was kinda the worst fate in a way since she'll likely just starve to death in a room full of fresh corpses
@@Kleed44she can always eat them
@@hyoton2until she can't and still dies.
I would say that what he did to her was way worse than what he did to the others lmao
One episode where I really felt bad for Homelander. You could see he actually coulda been a Superman but he was raised by people who didn't even see him as a human being and saw him as a company product.
he's a psychopath who is an existential threat to human society. I don't feel bad one bit. It should have never happened, but nothing about it was ordinary people's fault.
Hell even through the horrible thing that happened to him during his childhood, Dr. vogelbauhm said to Butcher in season 2 that homelander was a kind young boy who had a love for nature and he was intelligent His backstory is fd up
I never thought i would be surprised by the insanity in the Boys series but Homelander's revenge is both interesting and disturbing at the same time. Easily one of the best villains in fictions in my opinion
Ngl, so invested in the Homelander storyline while the others are kinda confusing/messy. You really understand how Homelander came to be. Doesn't excuse what he did at all, but make him more complex that a simple evil egomaniac superman
butcher's storyline is peak, Hughie too, don't know what you talking about. in fact the most emotional scene in the entire series for me is the hughie and is father resolution.
the only "messy" one I can think of is the Frenchie one and even then, it's still enjoyable but i can understand the criticism.
I really hope Kimiko’s and Frenchies subplots end before Episode 7. I need the last two episodes to be fully focused on the main plot
@@infamous_richard8732 Kimiko’s subplot is messy and uninteresting with this random chick from her past. Hughie’s subplot feels a bit thin too
Butchers ticking time bomb, hallucinations and conversation with Ryan is probably the most interesting story of the entire show besides hughies arc
“Maybe it’s a good worm?” 😂
For me personally, this was the best episodes of this season so far, I been highly anticipating the reaction for this one.
Homelander is one of the greatest villains in Television history. The way one can simultaneously feel sympathy, disgust and fear for him, is what makes such interesting character and complex villain.
This episode really did an emphasis in bullying and its consequences
This show is best watched with your fingers over your face 😂 so you can quickly cover your eyes if you need to...lol
This show is scarier that most horror movies these days tbh
@@johans3164 I agree
I'm not a f×ckin 🐈, so no.
Annie went out full Omni-Man on this one, I’m not gonna lie. And there’s been some theories going around that Jeffrey Dean Morgan’s character Joe Kessler is Butcher’s hallucination as the darker side of Butcher and Becca is Butcher’s angelic side.
Annie went omni man? What you on about
@@taevond6946 basically the commenter is saying that annie in the show the boys went omni man who is a character from invincible! hope this helps!
@@purple6573 yeah but what does that mean? annie isn't even the strongest in her own verse 💀 she's not "omni man" anyone
@@lightyagami5972 We're talking about the way she beat up Firecracker.
What are you smoking? She just beat her up. Are you seriously comparing Starlight to a mass murderer?
22:42 You might not have seen the show but in one of the "The Boys presents: Diabolical" episodes an old lady dying of cancer took V and then the cancer itself got powers and became it's own living entity that exited her body and cause a lot of chaos. That's likely what Butcher might be going through right now too. I can also recommend that show. Episode 8 specifically is a canon to "The Boys" backstory episode about Homelander. 24:23 A bit of that Homelander episode showed us small scenes of his torture as a kid as well.
Every scene with Homelander was a horror show. When it comes to acting, this was one of the best episodes from Anthony Starr. That man needs an award by the time this series ends.
The joke on the lab killing scene is that the best psychcologist in the world is gonna a psychologist now🤣🤣
😍Dani🥰we’re at Myrtle Beach. We have a few of our younger brothers. Zella, came downstairs and said. “I don’t want to go back to Chicago.”😭 It’s been crazy gang. Murda just said. “Give lil folks the code to the beach house.” Let me go gang. I’ll finish watching later. On King David.
If you’ve never had it before you must find a Fudgie the Whale 🐳. It’s the best ice cream cake.
Pretty terrifying how we don’t see what he did to the other staff members that weren’t involved with his experimental torture. We see Barbara trapped in a room with their dismembered mutilated corpses which lets me believe that those poor people who happened to be new faces got a much more painful, slow, and agonizing death than his actual tormentors(Frank and Marty). Pretty scary and kind of grounded to realism if you think about it since they’re victims out there in real life that had to suffer tragic fates because of someone else’s horrible actions. Those people were collateral damage and they knew it too.
WE don't know none of them necessarily had a a part though. Those two seemingly just did something specific to him that stuck.
that facility is still in operation for a reason. none of those people are clean. They may not have been around to torture homelander, but I'm sure they have done other terrible things. everyone sucks here lol
Perfect timing for my dinner vid❤
Awesome episode! Episode 5 and 6 even better. The worst thing Homelander did the whole episode was laser the door shut. She's stuck in there with all of those bodies. That's unimaginable.
Best acting in the history of television by Antony Starr as Homelander in this episode
The best joke punchline for the lab killingg scene is that the best pscy
I think maybe the Temp V gave him the brain worm, but the regular V he took just Sup'd up the worm, so now he has a super worm.
This episode had way too many "nope, not watching this, looking away" moments. We're only at episode 4 too. I can't imagine how it escalates from here.
Thumbs up for Dani’s Community shirt GO HUMAN BEINGS!!!
9:40 so much respect for saying that
I wonder if that worm is a side effect from the possible combination of TempV and CompV.
Man i watch a fuckton of reaction of this show and Dani is the first one to guess the lobotomy plot lol, congrats. Btw i was the same, a tv show hasnt made my heart beat as fast then The scene in a long time 😂
Aaron from Blind Wave also guessed it
@@Exbo9000 havent heard of them, might check them out thanks 🙃
2:35 14:30 20:15
22:46 thats the funniest thing ive heard her say lol also theres a fan theory that the tumor in his head absorbed the v and now it's like a cancerous vd up tumor
Homelander is the only character in the boys series who loved and hated at same time.
Sam look most used to the violence compared to the group. Nothing phases her it seems😂
This episode got Dani tweaking😭 and I don’t blame her😂 12:26
very late reaction to being told firecracker committed statutory
yay been waiting for this one!
i hope you girls don't get a nightmare
Icl firecracker way better than starlight💀🙏 feels like the only reason people feel bad for her is that shes on the ”good side” But i rlly cant give much of a shit🤷♂️
Created by Nazi science
Tells someone to “get in the oven” 😰
bro imma say that watching stuff with Dani has gotta be an acquired taste cuz their reads are SO on point that after a couple different shows/movies i'd consider anything they say a damn spoiler even if they've never seen it before XD XD
You always put the forks all the way down when not in use!
ok your highness
@@rileytruax766 It was a joke about the forklift that Hughie sprained his ankle on.
@@Zero_Maximus oh 😂idk why i thought you were talking about the forks for the ice cream cake. my brains weird
@@rileytruax766 Oh that's hilarious, I never would have thought about those forks lol. To be fair I didn't specify the forklift in my comment
Idk but the other girls but the one in the middle definitely reads spoilers which is fine IDC but I can always tell her genuine reaction to seeing something for the first time and her spoiled reaction. One is a lot better but maybe nobody else notices but me idk 😅
Dani how tf did you exactly predict why Sage had different personalities what the hell
I see a Greendale community college shirt . #sixseasonsandamovie
Do you think you guys could react to The devil Judge please?
Jesus you guys talk through the most important dialogue and miss so many blatant cues about characters
Aside from the Homelander stuff, this really was one of the worst written episodes tbh
