I’m just waiting for Anxiety and Ennui to finally release. I wanna play as them!
Not 100% sure on this, but you may be looking at the capsules wrong. For each tier of the pass, there are free and premium rewards. So the notion that “free to play players will unlock the premium racer” may be disingenuous since the higher drop rate percentages for Sadness are in the premium capsules which do require the golden pass.

In the golden pass there are 3 types of capsules: Inside Out capsules (2 free, 2 premium), Golden Pass Capsules (3 free) and Golden Pass Special Capsules (7 premium). Sadness is available only through the Inside Out Capsules (only 2 for free) and the Golden Pass Special Capsules (premium). We still have to be extremely lucky in order to unlock her, same as it was before.

With all the Inside Out characters, I was hoping this half's golden pass would have another common racer other than Fear - buying both halves of the season golden pass ends up giving you an over levelled Fear, who's playstyle isn't my favourite.

Same. Finally unlocked the last racer I needed (Wall-E). As soon as I level him and Sadness up, I can finally focus on any new racer (Anxiety, Ennui, etc)

wally's box should also be 30% drop chance and every single box like that 30/40/45 depending on rarity
Absolutely insane that a REQUIRED racer is locked behind a 5$ box that only has a 5 percent drop rate. And the event doesn't even give you but 5 shards, which means anyone who doesn't either have 5 shards or already have him can not physically get him without gambling.
@@trenth.7053 absolutely GL must be out of their mind if they think anyone is going to pay 5$ to gamble at 5% chance lol their incompetence is off the charts they would rather not earn anything or a few bucks than make a ton of money over a simple game that isn't taking anything away from them...
offer boxes for 300 coins 30% epic 40% rare 45% common, that's the formula right there then just sit down and enjoy your new income, easy as 123

I wanted to unlock Sadness. But Anxiety is a Speedster and Ennui is a trickster. But they won't be ready until later on. Damn.

Hey man sorry if you mentioned it in the video and I missed it but I’m new to the game and just got the Golden Pass, how would I be able to obtain Joy and Disgust? The variety of different currencies can be difficult to wrap your head around as a new player 😅
so much for joy. sadness seems to be pay only to get her. yeesh, but 9.99 for her wouldn't be too bad if they threw in joy as well.

Yes events get reruns sometimes but it can take a while

You have to unlock them first
Today I managed to unlock both Sadness and Wall-E. The former from being a Golden Pass user, and the latter from doing two things; I had three shards from a previous challenge I did a long time ago, I got six new ones from doing Wall-E's challenge, and the final one from dipping into his Starbox. Now that I've unlocked Wall-E, he is who I will be playing as in the Daily Boost challenge on Wednesday. I want to get him upgraded to a 2-Star racer so I can unlock his special ability. I have most of the racers in my roster now, as the only racers I've yet to unlock are EVE, Anxiety and Ennui.
Deep Dark Secret was spoiled as a crew member in the first half of the Inside Out season, and when the second half began, the other crew members were revealed, and they were all Inside Out 2 characters; Nostalgia, Lance Slashblade, and my personal favorites, Bloofy and Pouchy (to unlock them, I have to get the Golden Pass rewards to Level 22). I really want Disney and Pixar to make a Bloofy's House short for Disney+, so that we can see what an episode of the Bloofy's House show is like. It could also feature a young Riley and her emotions watching the show and reacting to it. I started a petition to make it happen, and if you are interested in signing, a link to it is in the community section of my RUclips channel.
You forgot that new Crew members hot added
Sadness is great but i do hate her charge skill. It's great if you are in last place but not anywhere else. I feel like they should've changed one of her abilities to give her a boost. Like Anger is only good because he gets a boost and if you hit someone he gets more of a boost. Sadness have great abilities but her charge one is the weakest skill because you can't throw it behind you. If you could do that it would be a great skill to be able to slow anyone down that could be behind you.
You're not playing defenders right my dude, they excell in controlling the track. If you're struggling to get boost, the wiki says:
"There are different options for getting nitro fuel... the Defender class can gain it by driving in their rivals' slipstream (right behind them) to... overtake them."
Drifting and boosting and rails should still be used when needed (skipping hard areas, filling boost bar etc) and when passing an opponent it's a good idea to dash into them for the free shield.
Sadness's normal unique skill is literally made to drag down other racers which will also work to stop them overtaking you. Also when in tight spots like missing a turn and 2 karts overtake you, you're likely to hit both with the charged unique skill.
In general pay attention to how the animations for stuns, boosts, skills, jumps, and stunts interact. It's really easy rn to get stunlocked since s8 hotfix but at least the borders of tracks like the twisty wooden bridge from toontown are more reasonable and I have faith they'll continue the quality of life updates.

I'm enjoying the inside-out season, but I'm really getting annoyed by the milking season of part 1 and part 2, same as wreck it Ralph because I'm having 2 use a golden token on a half season just seems like Bull

You can get them via real money offers in the Arbee’s trove section of the shop

Sadness stats are not too bad i will be get golden pass and i don't know why if anxiety and ennui spotted in inside out characters
They need to fix engine sounds make it like sonic and saga All Star
I don't think that sadness is worth 10$ so I'll skip this part being that I picked up joy
straight up she def isn't worth the 10$ BUT everything else in it is worth 10$ to me cause i ain't tryna buy anything else.
The way they set the game up though is that if you want to have a chance at getting through most of the content, you have to unlock as many racers as you can and level them up.
And you still don’t buy stuff lol 😂 dam
Sadness voice and words are so depressing. Gameloft should have given the voice to disgust or anger instead. So depressing playing that character 👎 sorry
