In the United States the playercount might be similar but worldwide stumble guys is way bigger, mobile games is basically the ONLY way to play games in most countries, there is NO pc gaming or console gaming
I can guarantee you that at least here in Brazil Stumble has more players than Fall guys by a huge landslide.
As the other guy said, the big majority of players on less rich countries only have access to mobile games, so that market is actually way huger than you think.

the fact that just a week after this comment fall guys announced that they are coming to mobile
The reason I believe for stumble guys blowing up was probably because it reached schools. I remember last year was my freshman year, and around that time, being after winter break, everyone started downloading it and playing matches during class, rallies, lunch, everything. The game was so popular that you could barely sit with someone at lunch without having stumble guys downloaded.

Long story short the clone passed the original by releasing on mobile. Fall Guys tried to be a higher quality experience on PC + Console but sometimes a low effort clone game "wins" by being in the right place at the right time. Thanks for this video Henke! was cool to learn this story.
Yup. It's part of why Among Us blew up. Fall guys was popular first but it was pay to play. So people went looking around and found this free (with cosmetics) game that basically anyones phone in the past 10 years could run with minimal issues.
Pretty much instantly Among Us was more popular and Fall Guys was struggling. Even now it wasn't until the end of July 2023 that Stumble Guys was more popular than Among Us.

Fall Guys takes SO LONG to get you into a game!
Takes forever to find 60 players, then it takes like a minute to show you a camera view of the course you already know, then there's the chance of losing in the first round due to the more competitive nature and having to wait way too long for the next game
Atleast they make sure you have real people, half the time on stumble there are like 28 bots in a 32 player match

@@Dani_38 they put bots in normal lobbies to pad out the player count. Plus the game is pay to win with the special emotes like punch
@@CoolestColor the emotes are mad easy to get, at least when I used to play the game during 2022. There were literally the same 3 emotes rotating in those 10 passes. I don't know why people call the game pay to win. If you play enough tournaments and get good placements, you can get enough gems to buy a pass and get the emotes. Of course you think the game is pay to win if you play it a week and then stop.

I found the game about some meme videos on tiktok, the best way to describe this game was a "so bad its good" quality and so i downloaded it and actualy ended up enjoying however i started to get mad about when most players uses the punch or kick emotes (which can be obtained from the battle pass) since i was a f2p it ended up me quitting the game. Nice video btw👍
yea, and then after the Mr Beast update they can do tons more shit to kill you, like throw a case of money, turn into a ball and speed up and grab you

Yes but they suck at managing the game. Late console release, going exclusive to epic game instead being in both steam and epic, no mobile release despite the game basically being perfect for a platform like that and also taking its sweet time to go free to play.

I also think this could be due to different platforms having different content rules. For example, my nephews have a Nintendo switch and would watch Switch Streamers play Fall Guys before getting copy righted by Nintendo. Due to that, a lot of their switch streamers went to Stumble Guys to play the game.

this might be because of my potato laptop at the time but, while playing fall guys, i couldn't play more than 2 rounds, rarely getting to round 2 because it constantly disconnected me. I was playing normally and suddenly everyone starts to slide and i get sent to the menu. Everytime

I actually play both Fall Guys and Stumble guys and I'd like to list some advantages of Stumble guys which people rarely discuss on.
Stumble guys controls are definitely easier to grasp. In fall guys, I always have a massive skill issue when performing high and long jumps where I'm sometimes stuck there for seconds whereas I don't have similar skill issue in Stumble guys (I started playing these games nearly at the same time)
Stumble guys also show some creativity in maps like there are slide levels, nerf gun levels, car racing levels. (Fun fact: the idea of Speed slider level in Fall Guys is based on Super slide level in Stumble Guys)
Regarding the advantages of Fall Guys than Stumble Guys, I don't think I need to talk much about it because the comment section have already listed them all.
To sum up, I don't think there exists a "right or wrong" scenario of choosing whether to play Fall guys or Stumble guys. Those who prefer playing Fall Guys will still play fall guys but Those who prefer playing Stumble Guys will still play stumble guys

The only reason why stumble guys has more downloads is because it is a mobile game and that it has always been free. If you say that stumble guys are better than fall guys then you haven't played fall guys before. Stumble has a lot of downloads but no active players. It is so easy to win in stumble guys because 99% of players are bots.
99% of players definitely aren’t bots. Stumble guys is really good but it doesn’t compare to fall guys. Fall guys should be beating stumble guys but it isn’t. Stumble guys are just smarter at advertising and the way they sell their game.

I see some problems with this as you are using Steam Stats, that shows only stats on steam and Fall guys is no longer on steam. Yes, you can still play it on their, but it fully moved to the competitor Epic game store. We will never see player numbers trough epic as it has no way to showcase active player like steam dose.
I just remember that it got shoved into Epic games, messed things up for accounts and then completely dropped off a cliff from popularity.

I remember getting stumble guys when fall guys was pay to play and just thinking it's a rip-off with probably fake multiplayer but then I realised I could play with my friends so the multiplayer was real but eventually we got bored off it and would only played it when we had absolutely nothing else to do. I was wondering why there were so many new players on fall guys recently, but that is because they probably got their first controller for christmas to play the game, stumble guys being free on mobile solves that solution therefore attracting the 7 year olds that have yet to be able to play fall guys, maybe eventually they will be able to get their hands on the better game IMO
