This was a useful video for new homemakers, as well as a reminder to those of us who are old veterans what basics we can manage with. I used a basic cookbook, probably Betty Crocker or Better Homes and Garden's to set up my kitchen so long ago. I do like Tupperware measuring spoons because they can be separated from the ring and washed individually. I have enjoyed a hand blender for some years, as I don't own a Vitamixer. It comes in handy for quick blends of soups so I don't have to transfer amounts from pot to a basic blender and back again.
Can disability people use a lyft app for transportation to go to the shelter about adult abuse when people call 211,I'm living with disability.
Thanks for the great ideas. The pioneer woman cups are so pretty, I would actually be tempted to use the cup measure for serving cream with desserts etc 🍨
At this age, I have enough kitchen items. I have that same glass pitcher from my wedding 41 years ago. I also love and still use my Tupperware measuring cups and spoons in green plastic. I do have a need for gift items for my daughter and daughter-in-love. Maybe the food saver would be a good gift.
Linda, that was the whole idea of this gift guide. Items for young homemakers or new homemakers. The floor care items could work if needed. The Foodsaver would be nice. She could use it in so many ways. That glass pitcher… Hahaha! I don’t know how long I’ve had it. It’s come in handy for so many occasions. You know what? I’ve got the green Tupperware measuring spoons, the orange measuring cups, and the tangerine and red measuring spoons. I’ve had them for a while. I’m not sure if you can still get them. I don’t have any more Tupperware bowls. I’ve got several things, like that mixing bowl, that I’ve had since we got married. I try and give lasting value with the gifts I choose for my daughter and daughter-in-laws. I’m helping them build their collections. I do enjoy that.
