I am very silly I just realised i read the post at 1:09 wrong and he was actually talking about delivering it while in Barcelona and not on the plane, my bad, still a cringe post though

Fucking hate linkedin. That's a site that needs to go permanently
Its main way of attracting new users seems to be having existing users invite everyone in their email contacts without knowing it. Nor consenting to it, obviously...
@@hazukichanx408probably did consent to it tho when logging in or signing up

i just interviewed 30 candidates and guess what? not a single one of them was accepted.
want to know why?
they all kept asking about 'safe working conditions', 'being able to leave the building', 'getting a salary' and 'not wanting to be whipped until their morale improves'. 🤦♀
job seekers: slave mas- i mean, interviewers don't like all these kinds of questions! it tells them what's important to you and whether or not you're a hard-working sla- i mean, 'committed hustler'.
Same here, they kept waffling about human rights and all sorts of other nonsense. Back in my day being whipped was a privilege, it proved you were a man of substance.
No joke, I've literally heard a manager in upper management say something along these lines before: "We want to be assured that our employees would be happy to work and provide for both their company's prosperity and their employer's comfort and lifestyle even if they haven't received pay in months or even years time. Sometimes we may even count on your own money to pay for some of the company's costs and mandatory training. It just means we can depend on you to be a subservient slav - I mean a dedicated, good-natured and hard working employee who's valuable to the company. We also don't like hearing employees unnecessarily complain about being mistreated, especially when the mistreatment is being done on low levels, or low levels as perceived by the company. We also value our employees mental and physical well being, that way they can still provide for us at their optimal level." Look, there is some truth that employees should be ready to resiliently and professionally handle some things, as well as prioritize some things in their workplace, especially when its a job working with the public or some sort of client, but to be treated or viewed as a near slave or even mildly abused shouldn't be the standard work life.
Meanwhile those of us looking for coworkers: pls just hire someone to help lighten our load already!!!!

LinkedIn is a goddamn hellhole when it comes to fake positivity. Everyone is trying to boast about "oh, I attended this awesome seminar", "I got to participate in this cool nation-wide project", "I enjoyed my time at company X, but immediately got hired at company Y, while rejecting company Z because it didn't fit my standards" or even worse "I will take a small break and figure out what kind of job I want next".
I'm jobless and actively applying for jobs, and I get mentally nauseous whenever I briefly have to log on just to provide my profile url for the next job search I do. People are so pretentious. F*CKING HIRE ME ALREADY, after 50+ tailored applications and 100-300 applicants for each one I'm literally going insane
It's truly awful, I only joined to job search and left a year or so later because it's filled with monumental pricks! It sucks for job searching too, had zilch from there. Don't give up hope! I've always had better luck with recruitment agencies or other job sites, LinkedIn sucks ass... best of luck to you 👍
😊😊
I managed to do my last job hunt without using linkedIn and I'm so grateful. It probably took me longer and I lost on some jobs automatically for sure but god, I hate linkedin and having to build a network.
omg tell me abt it ;-; ive been trying to find a job since i graduated HS and for abt 3 years now, 30 diff accounts of job sites, 7 diff resumes and im just tired of looking,, it sucks seeing other ppl have such an easy time with it while not even getting your foot anywhere near the door
"Great initiative Tom!" It just all seems so fake, I'm only on there to follow the organisations relevant to me, which are Government Orgs.
More linkedin cringe pls. We need to normalize shitting on this website the same we do with Facebook

I'm still coming to grips with the fact that LinkedIn is considered a social media platform now. I haven't opened that coffin since at least 2014-ish and it was just a place to put your resume back then ... Jesus, this is like waking up from a coma and finding the world altered in a way that you could have never predicted.
Saw someone on LinkedIn post about the brith of their new baby. They called it “the companies newest shareholder” and put it in a company branded baby grow 💀
Some people are just disgusting. Is there anyone that actually believes this bullshit? Or are all these people just going through the motions thinking everyone else will believe it?
You know that saying about how every child deserves a parent but not every parent deserves a child? Yeah, that seems extremely pertinent here.
to be fair, that sounds like a joke that wasn't executed well
Not to get radical on a George Memeulous video but to get radical on a George Memeulous video. I fucking hate how capitalism has created a society where there are people who think that people should put all there time into working and that being capable of doing work is a necessity for people being able to live
no one's last words was ever "i wish i worked more".
Balance in all things; a lot of work will always need doing for a society to prosper and provide for its citizens. But yeah. Our current society provides way too much for a select few of its citizens, with no particular correlation to actual merit or effort involved in their work or anything. In fact, the most privileged tend to do the least work. They just sit, and own, and collect the fruits of others' efforts. This is not a working economy, this is banditry in a metaphorical silk gown - or in the Emperor's New Clothes, that we are only just beginning to gather the courage to admit are just not there. Much like the 'value' of the wealthy themselves.
Anti capitalism on a George m video… so real of you
I mean being capable of doing work has always been a neccesity for people to live so I'm not sure if I get your point there.
@@kodiwtf my point is, though I should've clarified it more, that a universal basic income should exist which covers the base essentials in life
LinkedIn just the tinder for jobs except almost everyone there is insane
so the yubo for jobs 😭
So quite like Tinder.
so tinder but for jobs
The “except” part doesn’t exclude Tinder.
It's probably more like Grindr...
I feel sorry for the grind people. They always seem miserable
"My dentist said I grind in my sleep...he's real as for saying that"
Fr, it's their whole personality and it's dreadful
That's why they want everyone else to be as miserable as they are. Helps them feel better about their sad, pointless grind of an existence.
Dont feel sorry for them, they're the fools who wanted to everyone miserable, a negative emotion black hole
Can't be miserable if you're always grinding, no time to think about it, because there is no sleep, just more grinding

‘the weekend is a modern invention’ compared to when workers had no rights?? also literally in the medieval age they worked short days, they spent a lot of time recreationally
There is a slight caveat to that, a lot of 'free' time was spent for religious purposes (Sunday mass, religious holidays, etc). Summertime was spent mostly harvesting - one could expect to work 12+ hours a day while doing that. However, in winter after crops were sown, there was more free time

bro was dead for 9 mins? wow hes a real hard worker since the brain is alive for only about 3 mins max after oxygen loss
So here's something I've learned pulling an 16 hrs a day, 7 days work (yes, weekend was not off the chart, very huge crunch time)
It made me so much exhausted that by the time I was done with the work, my brain was constantly saying "please leave, please leave, I don't need the money, please leave." It was as if I were in a survival situation, like you see in horror movie. Kinda reminded me of the "Ready Or Not" movie.
I hope you listened to your brain, mate. Please, tell me you did?
@@Thurnmourer Yes I did, Im now working for a much better corpo. Salary is good, worktime is usual 9-5, overtime aint a thing here, in short situation is much better. Well, thanks to that workplace, my current employee took me in for the experience.
Orson Welles made a movie about how trying to always prove yourself leads to a life of misery, solitude, and regret.

0.8 miles is just a little over 1 km, on average that would take at most 16 minutes. Okay it’s snowing and they’re bare foot, that should make you move faster honestly. I live in Canada and I had to walk like 1 km to get home from the bus stop, even when it was snowing or pouring rain, if my shoes were soaked through it made me walk faster because they’d be wet and then freezing at the same time. I’m really stuck on the fact they repeated 0.8 miles a couple times as if that’s the longest walk they’ve ever been on 😭
Edit: where I live in Canada when it gets cold it gets COLD, like in the negatives
I once walked 15 miles home in the snow because my work didnt let me go home when it started knowing I catch buses and sure enough they all got cancelled. They said how I could just sleep in office, but I would have to sleep in my office chair and would be woke up when the early shift came in. I left work at 7pm, and didn't get home until about 2am. Needless to say, I did not turn up the next day and my work actually did want to give me disciplinary for missing the day
I’m sorry!
that woman in the private plane got caught out for faking it from her Instagram,, she actually hired a fake private plane for one hour that was in a hangar to take her Instagram photos, you can see it is in a hangar if you zoom in and look through the windows, there are also no pilots in the cockpit. you can see the bad paint job on the step up to the cockpit, the thrust levers are in the ground idle position, so it is not in the air, the panel above the pilots is missing lots of switches that would normally be there.
There are plenty of aircraft interior mock-ups around that are exclusively hired out to Insta-whores et al on an hourly basis so they can fake it rather than make it!
Top marks for geekery. I approve. I love a good geeky nitpick. :)
@@cr10001 I am an aircraft engineer and notice these things in photos and videos from influencers
4:55 - Imagine bragging about how smart you are for "investing" your money ($35 of it, about enough to buy a one-billionth ownership share in some utterly worthless company, I imagine), while failing a math question as simple as "15+15=...?", in a hypothetical context _you_ created in the first place. Smh, smh.
Just goes to show, rich people =/= smart people... as much as they love to pretend the opposite.
All of that "hustle/grind culture" lacks 3 important things that make people different from robots: authenticity, humanity and soul.
If you're into that kind of stuff, basically your life revolves around only 1 thing - earning money. Nothing else matters to you. These people don't even get how shallow, hollow and bland their existence is.
I once visited an event organized by Tony Robbins. Don't ask me why, I was just recommended it and the event was in the city I wanted to visit for long time. I didn't really know who that Tony Robbins guy was, so I thought why not.
In my entire life I have never seen such huge gathering of absolutely empty people. It's supposed to be a networking event, but I didn't even want to discuss weather with them.
Such a weird place filled with people virtue signalling non stop.
And the virtue is always not virtues at all like "give up your family to hustle 25/8"
@@Fr0stbite1801 it is to the target audience 😂
I hate LinkedIn so much but unfortunately it’s necessary for the job search ☹️
LinkedIn is also the reverse of Tinder, where women makes themselves attractive to nerdy men who reject them
Trust me that's Tinder too.
Someone working before their start date is someone currently unemployed.
The start date is generally the notice period that they have to give for their current job.
The last job I took (still my current job) I joined a week early, but only because it was a week away working and staying in a Hotel every night. It saved me a bunch of money that I didn't need to spend on food back at home!

There's one thing that's evidently missing in the minds of those posters who think they are HR geniuses for squerzing the last bit of lifeblood from employees that way. And that is that as a candidate, you are free to tell them anytime to get bent, and go look for a job elsewhere where they don't treat you like you're in a Soviet gulag.
Imagine being smart enough to invest on trading platforms all your money, when you are convinced that 15 + 15 = 35.
15:30 Listening to music in explicitly scheduled 10-minute blocks is legit American Psycho behavior.
5 minutes of a LinkedIn reaction video is 10 minutes IRL
Never had LinkedIn profile and never will.
I used LinkedIn for a short while, the best part was this guy I met in real life was boasting about how his son was doing great in school and smashing his grades predictions but little did he know that I was one of his sons teachers and I knew that his son would randomly walk out of classes he didn’t want to do. His son was failing so bad, I felt bad for the boy, having a father like that who boasts so much
Those are super insufferable ppl. Seen them in most of companies i worked for.
Constantly "working" and doing so little. I realized i do more productive work in 1 hr then they do in a day.

12:22 Hmmm idk MISS fkn *ESCOBAR* , I do have a slight suspicion that ‘private flying’ for you may - _may_ - be subsidised by the ‘extra baggage’, every kilo of which has been conveniently pre-wrapped, that may potentially be secreted within the chassis of said aircraft…? 👀
Small wonder she’s shilling for the PJ, the comparative profit margins must be incredible. Definitely worth it! You go #cartelgirlboss!
The guy with working on weekends has a point sometimes at my job someone has to be at the company on Saturday for 12 hours with nothing to do. Due to it beeing the weekend the 12h „work“ are 27h pay(9h*2+3h*3) 😂.
I love the fact that people who say : "work more, ears more" are also the same people who don't pay overtime to their employees.
I don't want to work more if you don't pay me my overtime hours
George…. I think he meant he was giving a seminar in Spain, not on the actual plane

LinkedIn? More like LockedIn, we found the threat.
I think most of those who preach about working 20 hours a day simply don't realize that they are wasting time on a social thinking that someone will actually find them cool 😵💫 Of course, if you have the opportunity it's better to spend extra time working than to throw it out the window, but you also need to be able to re-establish your mental serenity in order to perform at your best at work. 🤷♂
