Working in the fast food/restaurant industry you will eventually meet an a-hole, it seems like that should be apart of job descriptions for working with food in general, because some people are just miserable and want to spread their misery by any means possible.
At least it wasn't scalding hot Mickey D's coffee, but yeah, still a massive douchebag thing to do to someone literally just doing their job, for having the nerve to point out he stole someone else's order and then complained that it wasn't what he'd ordered. My sympathies.
I remember when I had a weekend job as a teenager in a cafe, this mother made a big fuss about not paying for her and her daughters' food and drinks. The mother claimed it was all horrible and refused to pay when a, everything was consumed and b, when I checked on them earlier on they said everything was all good urgh! Long story short I got my boss involved, he told the mother to pay up or he would call the police and she reluctently did so and stormed off swearing things as she went.
This. My entire area (like 30 square miles at least) all reported hearing a sound like a car accident but only the collision at the same time on Saturday. It was a gender reveal explosion.
I miss when it was meaningful and heart-warming because a couple had been trying for a baby and *finally broke the streak of having multiple repeat miscarriages* so they had a genuine real reason to celebrate getting to the late stage of pregnancy, and not just self-entitled clout goblins

I was screamed at multiple times by customers, one time for their child not getting the “right” happy meal toy despite it being a random selection. I cannot fathom a world where I spoke to others the way I was spoken to during that week and I’ve always been extra nice to retail and fast food workers for it - you all deal with some crazy stuff 🫂
The part that always gets me is if you're nice you almost always get issues sorted quickly, so why shout, scream, and throw a tantrum like a toddler? She wanted more ketchup on her burger, how hard is it to just say "excuse me, can I get some more ketchup?" Last time I went for fast food they forgot a burger and fries, I politely asked the guy at the counter about it and he sorted it and threw in an upgrade to the large for the mistake. There's absolutely no reason to act like this when being nice gets you much better outcomes.

So we pulled up his history on the system and told him because of all of his returns he had only actually spent a few hundred quid per year. Most other regulars spent £1000s per week. We just used the shaming that only other builders waiting in line could do as our weapon. Dude literally got laughed out of the store. He was much nicer the next time he came in.

I have run a shop/store and you don't want to be stuck with a shop full of customers after it's meant to be closed. The shop closes at whatever time means basically all customers should be making their way out not in.
McDonald's in the U.S. depending on the Individual Store they would either have a spot with little cups and a pump handle to fill the cup with Ketchup. Other stores will simply have packets.

I feel that. I don't want to be a nonce and like charge for each extra pump of flavor, so I'll just try to get a read then add usually half of the original total more. Not malicious, just generally not trying to make someone pay like 2 bucks or something more just for the flavor.
