Ngl the ilx looks like an amazing car. Soon I’m gonna own a 2013 Acura ILX Manual to drive to college and so far the owner has loved the car and kept it in pristine condition

@@SteffanJohal awesome😆 I find Honda’s and the premium Acura tend to last longer in terms of their km/m on the dash. This one has 133,000+km and the good thing about this ilx version is that they only had one significant recall being the Takata airbag which fortunately the owner got it fixed around the time they got parts for the re call

2016 ilx owner here, fun to drive and is reliable even at 110,000 miles.
Got it used and have kept up with it since. I’ve never had issues.
Plus it’s based off of the 9th gen civic, so parts for it are easy to put on!

I have a 2017, fun little car to drive. Would probably have sold better if they keep the 1st gen manual with the k24. The current and 2nd gen have the DCT but it has a weird layout of the k24 so not much aftermarket support for them. Not really loaded like crazy and rear seats are a lil tight. Great commuter car with a sporty driving experience imo

They are great cars. I have a 2014 Acura ILX that was a rental car at first then had 3 other owners then got totaled. Its a salvage title and had 63000 when I bought it. I'm at around 68000 miles and the only maintenance I have had to do was change the transmission fluid and air filters as well as oil. Also I picked up a full size spare from a 2011 Honda Civic that I keep in the trunk and got some custom all weather floor mats. Its a great car that gets good mpg. I get around 30mpg per tank.

I always thought the ILX was a pretty good value. For its price point and what it offered even fully loaded definitely made it a compelling choice. I will say that I thought the 200 hp SI engine option should have been standard unless you wanted the hybrid, after all it was suppose to be a step above Honda so it should have reflected that.

I'm looking at a black ILX at a local dealer.
We have an older black MDX in the family, and the ILX would replace a black Mazda 3

I have a 2022 and I gotta say this car is a little puzzling to me. I like how it looks and how it drives but mine in particular was made during the pandemic and you can definitely tell the ppl who assembled it didn’t really cared that much. Rattles galore inside specifically in the doors. Outside panel gaps and one of the headlights leaked water the first couple months of having it. Also 2022 being the last year of production I think Acura didn’t really care so they just wanted to get rid of the ilx.

I had a 2022 ILX too, didn't have any rattles or anything. It did have panel gap issues but the dealer was quick to fix it.
I did end up trading up to the new Integra though which has a seatbelt rattle

@@SteffanJohal Honestly I do. It's got more headroom, handles a lot better and it's more engaging to drive as i opted for the Manual. I now think that it was too compact for a person of my height (6'2")
That being said, I still did like the ILX, had I not gotten a great deal on the Integra, I'd still be driving it.
